That afternoon, inside the cave.

After learning of his brother's experience in the forest, Roden had finally decided the best course of action to take.

Now his mind is clear, the confusion is gone.

Three hours later.

At 5:00 in the afternoon, Roden entered the secret room.

"Brother, are you going to erase Jessy's memory now?" Jagger asked his older brother excitedly.

"Yes. Take her out of the bottle first and put her in the bed so that I can start erasing all her memories of her past and current life," Roden commanded.

"Sure thing, brother!" Jagger answered gleefully like a kid. He eagerly placed the bottle in the bed and opened the lid. He began chanting the incantation, while his mouth was uttering strange words, the cloud of smoke slowly came out of the bottle and it settled in the bed, it then formed into the shape of a woman.

Unknown to Jagger...

Roden was already chanting his magic spell looking intensely at his brothers back.

Jagger slowly turned around facing his brother with the look of shock on his face. "Brother...what the h.e.l.l are you doing!? Noooooo, please don't do this, I'm begging you...please stop!"

"I'm sorry brother...I have to do this because if you are in my shoes you will understand why I have to do it," Roden said sadly, his eyes welled up.

Slowly Jagger turned into a cloud of smoke and Roden picked up the empty bottle and held it in front of the smoke and continued chanting his magic spell...the smoke entered the bottle and Roden closed the lid tightly...he kept chanting the spell that would seal the lid making sure his brother could not get out of the bottle even if he uses his power.

Done.

Roden placed the bottle in the table and stared hopelessly at his brother who is already sobbing inside, he was fighting the tears from falling down his cheek.

It's not yet the time to feel weak.

So many things needed to be done.

It's a long day ahead.

...

Inside the bottle.

Jagger's tears streamed down his face in despair and absolute sadness by the betrayal of the only person he trusted in this world, his brother.

He did not expect this!

He was devastated.

He did not expect that his brother had done this to him!

This is so painful, he no longer has the strength to stop his tears, he was sobbing like a child.

A small voice appeared in his mind telling him that his brother was just doing the right thing to save his family and the vampires under his wing, by giving Jessy freedom. He looked at Jessy's sleeping form in the bed seeing his sweet fantasy evaporating into thin air. Yesterday and today before his brother decided to betray him, he was so happy. But now all the happiness he felt inside was replaced with sadness and loneliness. Regardless of what had transpired between them today, he can never bring himself to hate his brother. He was just so f.u.c.king sad!

He understood very well why his brother had to do this. Now he can only wait what Jessy's verdict will be. He was sure of one thing, she can never forgive him once she will know of his real intention towards her.

...

Outside.

Roden glanced at the sleeping woman before getting out of the room. Ten minutes later, Roden returned inside the room with his wife and his children. They all stared at the woman sleeping in the bed.

"Is she the genie in the bottle, Father?" asked the girl

"She sure is!" said the boy.

"Look, the bottle has another genie inside!" said the girl, her hands pointing at the bottle above the wooden table.

"Children, shhh...keep quiet!" Roden reprimanded his kids.

The children obeyed at once.

"Now, remember what I have told you earlier...you must say the exact words I have taught you to that woman lying in the bed when she finally wakes up, okay?" Roden watched his wife and his children's faces. They all nodded their head.

"But Father, why must we beg mercy to that woman, we didn't do anything wrong to her!" asked the boy.

"Yes, we didn't directly hurt her, but your Uncle Jagger offended that woman and put her inside the bottle. That woman will get angry after she wakes up, and she is powerful, more powerful than me. She will kill us all if we didn't apologize to her. So, kids, just follow what I told you, okay? Do you understand what I'm saying?" he asked again.

His wife and his children nodded their heads.

"Father, I'm scared of that woman," the girl said, about to cry.

The wife embraced her daughter. "Shhh...that woman is kind. You just have to beg for her mercy...so that she won't harm us."

The girl gazed at her mother and nods her head.

Roden watched his family and his brother inside the bottle. His heart was felt with sadness. He will never be able to forgive himself for betraying his brother's trust today, but he had to do what he needed to do.

"Shhh, quiet now children. I will begin chanting to wake up the woman. Wait for your mother's lead, okay? All you to need to do is follow her, got it?"

"Alright, Father," the children responded.

Roden faced the bed and began chanting the spell that would wake up Jessy. White smoke entered Jessy's nose and ears. Fifteen minutes later, her shoes and fingers began moving...then slowly her eyes opened...she blinked five times and stared at the ceiling...then at the people in front of her. She sat upright upon seeing strangers looking at her. She saw a middle-aged couple and two children. Who are they? And where is Jagger? The last time she remembered she was inside the treehouse eating the young coconut meat, then suddenly she felt dizzy and lay down on the floor. That was the last thing she remembers.

"W-who are you?" she stared at the stranger inside the room.

"My name is Roden. This is my wife and these are my two children," he introduces his family to her.

"Where am I? What place is this? And w-where is Jagger?" she was looking around the room getting worried about him. Although these people look harmless, the fact that she found herself in a strange place surrounded by the people she doesn't know, something must have gone wrong!

"If you are looking for Jagger, there he is inside that bottle. I have no choice but to imprisoned him there," Roden said pointing at the bottle above the wooden table.
