Queen Margaret and Jessy were discussing the mortal couple on what will be the best approach for their situation since there was a baby involved. They just can't erase the parents' memory of the abduction along with the memory of their baby, it is morally wrong!
"I need to check out their life history first before the abduction took place. That's the only way we can decide what is the best set up that is suitable for them," the queen said. "Maybe if I can have a glimpse of their life history we can come up with a brilliant idea how to solve this seemingly complex problem..."
"I think your idea is brilliant, Mother," Jessy agreed. Having a look into the couple's individual life story may provide them the solution that they were seeking.
Queen Margaret rises to her feet. "Let's visit the first couple first. I want to know who are they before they got entangled into our world," she said.
"Okay. After you...Mother," Jessy said, she let the queen led the way.
After a few minutes of walking, they arrived in the human living quarters. Jessy knocked five times on the door, after opening the padlocked they entered the room.
"Good afternoon Queen Margaret and Jessy!" the couple pleasantly conveyed their greetings to the visitors.
Queen Margaret nods her head and smiled at the couple.
"Good afternoon, guys! How's your day?" Jessy returned their greetings and eyed the adorable bundle of joy sleeping soundly in the bed.
"Our day is great," the couple answered in unison.
"We are here to inform you that we have chosen the two of you to go home this week and next week respectively, including your baby," Queen Margaret delivered the good news and eyed the baby affectionately.
"OMG! We're finally going home!" the couple shouted in happiness, they hugged each other tightly.
Tears of happiness were br.i.m.m.i.n.g on the woman's eyes.
A minute later.
"Guys, can you please sit down on the bed? I have something important to tell you," the queen said.
The couple obeyed and lowered themselves into the bed.
Queen Margaret and Jessy looked at each other, they decided that now is the right time to freeze the couple.
Jessy stared at the couple wielding her power over them by freezing them instantly on the spot. "It's done, Mother," she said.
Queen Margaret went to the couple's side and placed her hand on the guy's head. The queen began viewing the guy's life history stored in his memory.
On the other hand, Jessy busied herself gazing at the adorable baby that was sleeping peacefully in the bed. "Baby, you're so cute!" she cooed and lightly touches its chubby arms and feet careful not to wake the little angel.
Thirty minutes later, the Queen was done with the guy.
Next is the woman's turn.
Queen Margaret placed her hands on the woman's head and starts viewing her life history that was stored in her memory.
Jessy continues to be enamored with the baby's angelic look.
She was delighted when the baby's eyes opened and looked at her. The baby smiled and wriggled her arms and toes and produces inarticulate sounds coming from her mouth. Jessy can't resist it! she scooped the baby in her arms and spend the next thirty minutes playing with the baby, talking to her and caressing its chubby legs and arms. "Aw...you're so adorable and so cute...baby! I will take you home with me," she jokingly said.
Another thirty minutes pa.s.sed.
Queen Margaret was done checking out the couple's individual life story. "Jessy, I'm done, let's go back to the study room now and discuss an important issue regarding this couple," said the queen who wore a grim expression on her face.
Jessy saw the queen's face and she was already guessing that what the queen saw in the couple's memory is not good. She gently placed the baby back in the bed and stared at the couple, she unfreezes them with her eyes.
A few seconds later, the couple regained back their consciousness.
Jessy glanced at the baby once more with a smile on her face, then s.h.i.+fted her attention to the couple.
"We're heading out, guys. I have two index cards here and pens. Please write the home address that you want me to send you to, and do write also who will take care of the baby and why?" Jessy said.
The couple looked at each other for a few seconds.
Jessy steps forward and placed the index card and pen on the woman's hands. "I will get them tonight, so please write the important info I requested from you guys so that we can send you home quickly and without delay," she explained.
"We're leaving now," the queen said and walked towards the door.
"Thank you for the visit, Queen Margaret and Jessy," the couple said feeling grateful.
Queen Margaret looked at the woman and smiled warmly at her, then she proceeds to exit the door, followed by Jessy.
In the hallway heading back to the study room.
Queen Margaret looked at Jessy. "I pity that woman," she said.
Jessy was frowning. "Huh? Why Mother? What's wrong with the woman?"
"There is nothing wrong with the woman, but it's the guy—" the queen said in a cryptic tone.
They finally arrived in the study room, Jessy opened the door for the queen and they entered, she closed the door behind them, she was curious—what's wrong with the guy?
Queen Margaret and Jessy sat on the sofa opposite of each other.
"The woman's name is Ruth and the guy's name is Kevin. What is wrong with Kevin, Mother? please tell me," Jessy said eager to know.
Queen Margaret cleared her throat.
"That guy is happily married to his loving wife and they were blessed with two children, he was living a contented and happy married life before the abduction took place," the queen paused then continue... "About Ruth, she is a single lady with a boyfriend of six years, they were so in love with each other and planning to get married after two years because they were still saving money together to buy their marital home," the queen concluded her explanation.
"Oh..." Jessy scratches her head. "This is not good!" she finally said.
