It's already 9:00 in the evening.
Jessy initiated the teleportation in her mind.
A minute later.
She landed on her favorite beach.
She scanned her surroundings...all is clear...then she stared at the sea...hmm...no big waves today...they seemed to be sleeping at this hour, she muses.
She discarded her shoes and began walking in the seash.o.r.e in a relax manner, loving the way the cute little waves lapping around her feet. She loves how her bare feet come in contact with the sandy sh.o.r.e, it has a relaxing and invigorating effect on her sole, as if her feet were undergoing a satisfying ma.s.sage. Sometimes tiny stones tickled the soles of her feet, it's quite a wonderful experience and she's loving it!
She raised her eyes to the sky above...wow...so many stars!
There was a beautiful full moon up in the sky bathing the beach with an enchanting glow.
She stood there enjoying the breathtaking view of the sea, the only sound she can hear was the sound of tiny waves rus.h.i.+ng to the sh.o.r.e.
She was tempted to dive into the water for a quick swim. But after a few seconds of deliberation, she decided against it. 'Some other time,' she murmured to herself.
Done strolling in the seash.o.r.e, Jessy put the backpack in the ground, then she sat down on the white sand under the shade of the coconut tree and admired the tranquility of the place. The gentle breeze was blowing her hair away from her face. This beach was situated in a secluded place, ideal for soul searching, meditating and relaxing...the calming and soothing effect of the sea can put anyone in awe.
She stared at the backpack on the ground, she reached for it and then emptied the contents of the cellophane into the ground. The wet clothes were now dry, she grows flames in her palms and lighted the cellophane, it catches fire quickly, the flames starting to devour the backpack including the dry clothes...
Jessy watches the mesmerizing flames dancing before her very eyes against the backdrop of the calm sea.
She was just burning evidence.
A few minutes later, the flames devoured everything, only the ashes remained on the ground.
She glanced at the area nearby where she buried the rifles that she used in killing those insane gunmen in the food festival. She might as well dig it again and burn it. There is a big chance someone will accidentally dig it and used it on a bad purpose or it might cause an accident and kill an innocent person. It's something that she can't allow to happen. When she buried it here she was not thinking of the consequences because she just wants to get rid of the deadly rifles, ASAP!
She rose to her feet and went to the place where she buried the rifles.
She knows exactly where she buried it...
When she arrived in the exact area where the rifles were buried....she noticed that there was something wrong with the appearance of the soil on that specific area, it's not how she last saw it after putting back the soil into place. She made sure the surface was even and she pulled some plants nearby and planted it on the surface of the hole, but why is it that the plants were no longer there and the surface was no longer even, it looks like it was recently dug!
What the h.e.l.l!?
Did somebody saw her burying the rifle and they decided to retrieve it?
One way to find out is to dig the hole again.
She placed her hand above the hole and using her power she made the soil parted in the center...as the soil was piling up on both sides, she finally reached the depth where she thinks she rifle was buried...but to her dismay...the rifles were no longer there. Maybe she just miscalculated and it was far deeper...the soil continues to part until she saw a big rock on the bottom. This rock was not here when she buried the rifle, which only means one thing... today she went far deeper with her digging and she can finally confirm to herself that the rifles were missing...gone...and it's probably already in the hands of whoever digs it.
Does she have to be alarmed because somebody took the rifles?
Well...
As long the rifles ended in the hands of a good person, she has nothing to worry about. If it ended in the hands of a killer or psycho and then starts killing people using that rifle...it's gonna be a big problem.
Jessy released a deep sigh.
Anyways, there's nothing she can do about it. She was shaking her head while looking at the hole one last time, she filled the hole again with the newly dug soil, all the while thinking where are the rifles? and who took it?
She went back to the beach and settled down on the place where she sat down earlier, what was left with the burnt things are ashes. She covered the ashes with the white sand.
She looked at the tranquil sea. Her face was calm but deep inside she was thinking who took the rifles? That particular question kept appearing in her mind. Maybe, somebody went to the beach and accidentally dug on that area and found the rifles.
Maybe yes or maybe not.
She breathed deeply, convincing herself that even if they will get the rifle they won't be able to trace it back to her since she was sure that before she buried the rifle there was n.o.body around the beach during that time.
But even if they can trace the rifle back to her, what can they do to her? She only protected herself and killed the murderers that slaughtered many people in the food festival. With those thoughts, she put her mind at ease. She did nothing wrong, just that she was in the right place at the right time, but who better can stop those evil men from killing again? Only her! Because their path crossed accidentally and when she was given a choice to end their barbaric ways, she took the chance and did not hesitate to deliver justice to the victims right away.
The mystery of the missing rifle will surely haunt her mind for the days to come.
Well...she will just deal with it the easy way.
Done thinking of the missing rifle, she might as well relax again and continue enjoying the beauty of nature around her.
She will stay on the beach for a few minutes more, then go home afterward to continue blood transfusion.
Her eyes were fixated on the calm sea in front of her, she was engrossed watching the ocean in front of her that she didn't see a lone figure approaching her from behind.
