Dammit!
Where could she be at this time?
Jessy exited the room and stood in the hallway. She had already checked everything in the middle part of the Facility but she can't find Hannah! But she can't check everyone's rooms because Hannah won't stay in somebody's room since she had her own room, unless...
Dang!
Unless she was in Zain's room, spending the night with him, but that is impossible! She had forbidden her to come inside the prince room alone because it's dangerous for her and the baby's health to be in the same room with Zain.
But there's no harm in checking out Zain's room for a few seconds to see if Hannah is there. She teleported inside Zain's room and voila!
There she is Hannah!
She was sleeping soundly beside Zain in the bed.
What the h.e.l.l!?
She's been looking for Hannah all over the forest only to find later that she was just sleeping soundly in Zain's prison room?
Gahhh!
Who gives Hannah permission to visit the prisoner's room? She was confused unless the royal family allowed it in the first place.
Her first instinct is to get Hannah out of the room fearing that Zain would hurt her physically. But that was also the moment Zain opened his eyes and stared at the sleeping woman beside him, he then raised the blanket higher to cover Hannah's exposed arms...wow...that was a gentle act on Zain's part towards the woman he impregnated and despised.
Did she missed something here—?
Are they lovers again?
But Zain wasn't holding or touching Hannah anywhere her body. He was keeping a decent distance away from the woman. She knew that Zain and Hannah have a healthy s.e.xual history together before Zain married her.
Looking at the two ex-lovers lying in the same bed, Jessy was hoping for the best for them, if they will be reunited for good in the future then she will be the first person to feel happy for them.
Right now, instead, feeling worried about Hannah...Jessy feels relieved to see her friend lying peacefully beside the man she loves so much. But there was also the lingering feeling that Zain might hurt Hannah again, hopefully not, his sweet gesture earlier proves that he was already mellowing down.
Hopefully so!
Jessy left the room, feeling so d.a.m.n sleepy!
She teleported inside her room and sunk in her bed immediately, her eyes were closing fast and she falls asleep after a few minutes.
~~~o0o~~~
The next day.
Jessy woke up at 9:30 in the morning. She delayed getting up, she continues lying in her comfy bed...her mind was recalling one by one what just transpired last night.
*The successful testing of the anti-vampire vaccine on one of the ex-vampire.
*The horrible dream.
*Hannah's false alarm disappearance.
*Finding incapacitated vampires hiding in the cave.
*And lastly finding Hannah sleeping comfortably in Zain's room.
Jeez...they were all shockers!
So many things happened in the last 24 hours.
She closed her eyes for another fifteen minutes.
...
The time is up!
She reluctantly drags herself out of the bed and entered the bathroom. A moment later, she was already strolling towards the canteen, as expected, the place was empty, she immediately chose foods in the display cabinet and sauntered towards the nearest table and munched on her breakfast.
She finished eating her meal within fifteen minutes.
She exited the canteen in a hurry and went down to the middle part of the Facility heading towards the clinic.
She arrived on time.
She opened the door and entered inside.
"I'm here now, Doc! Sorry for being late! I have late errands last night," she explained.
The doctor looked at her and smiled. "No need to say sorry, Grandpa here is sleeping soundly and told me to wake him up when you finally arrived. Shall we start now—?" he asked.
Jessy glanced at Grandpa on the other bed. "Bring it on, Doc!" she responded.
The doctor woke up Grandpa and they start the blood transfusion process.
Jessy stared at the ceiling of the clinic. Later, she will see Hannah and asked her what's going on. Then go and see the King and Queen and informed them about the vampires she had discovered hiding in the cave in the forest.
In her opinion, those vampires need saving very badly, the longer they stayed inside that cave they will perish in hunger sooner or later, but it will be up to King Antone and Queen Margaret if they will extend a hand to help those vampires. There's plenty of vacant room in the Facility after the six hundred ex-vampires relocated to the Habitat. Regarding the blood supply...although not in abundance and still on ration basis, the vampires residing in the middle part of the Facility haven't experienced blood shortage lately...unlike before.
Three hours later.
Jessy exited the clinic for her lunch break.
She went to Hannah's room.
She found Hannah sitting on the chair, sewing baby clothes while sporting a smile on her face.
"Hi there Jess!" Hannah greeted her enthusiastically.
The pregnant woman's aura was radiating happiness.
Jessy saw the joy emanating from Hannah's face which she found contagious. "Hi, Hannah! You look happy today. Did I missed something—?" she pretended that she was blind to everything that's going on.
Hannah stopped sewing and looked at her friend. "Guess--where I sleep last night?"
"In Zain's room," Jessy said softly.
Hannah's eyes widened. "You knew?"
Jessy nodded her head.
"I had a horrible dream last night that involves you. After I woke up from that dream I immediately check on you because my dream looks so real. I was scared s.h.i.+t when I didn't find you in your room and I checked your whereabouts everywhere in the middle part of the Facility since I can't find you anywhere...I went outside into the forest looking for you in the dead of the night. I'm afraid that you are out there stuck somewhere...only to find you later in Zain's room sleeping soundly beside him," Jessy said.
Hannah squealed and hugged Jessy. "Aww...thanks for your concern, Jess! I'm so lucky to have you as a friend who will do anything for me, thanks for your concern! But I'm perfectly alright, no need to worry about me," she said and went back to the chair still wearing the same radiant smile.
Jessy breathed deeply. "Who gives you permission to visit Zain in his room?"
"It's the King and Queen, they told me that starting from now I can visit Zain's room twice a week and I can also sleep there if Zain allows it," Hannah explained.
"Since when did you start sleeping in Zain's room? And how is it? Did he attempt to hurt you again?"
Hannah shook her head. "No. Although we don't talk much, he was nice enough to tolerate my presence beside him. I don't mind if he won't talk to me, I feel content being with him inside his room and just basking in his presence—it's more than enough for me, I felt happier inside his room compared than being stuck here all day and all night long thinking of him."
Jessy smiled a little, seeing a woman so in love...it's like seeing an ice cream melting like a puddle. "Well...what can I say—?" shrugging her shoulders she went to the door, she halted in her steps and turned around to face her friend. "I'm happy for you Hannah, hope this is the start of something beautiful between you and Zain," she said, sincerely.
"Thank you so much, Jess!" Hannah responded with a dazzling smile adorning her lips.
