She teleported into her room to rest for the night.
She was lying in her bed recalling in her mind what just happened earlier in the clinic. Alicia's prank put dread in her heart, torturing her for a few minutes.
But her worries instantly disappeared the moment Alicia opened her eyes and starts laughing like crazy.
Now, she can finally rest her worries away after knowing that the anti-vampire vaccine does not affect the ex-vampire.
The successful test had proven that all mortals are safe from the vaccine, even if the government would knock on the Habitat's door to implement the anti-vampire vaccine, it's no big deal! The residents living there doesn't need to be afraid anymore.
She will bring up the topic to the royal couple so that they can announce to the ex-vampires that they are all safe from the anti-vampire vaccine.
She shut off her eyes preparing to sleep.
One hour later...
Dang!
She still can't sleep!
What's wrong with her?
She opened her eyes. Her mind wandered back to the conversation she had with Captain Mercado and the ceased order letter allegedly come from the general's office. Although she believes that the captain is telling the truth, still she can't let her guard down.
What is the General's plan?
She wished he can enter the General's head and know what he was planning, if he is serious with the ceased operation against the vampire then she doesn't need to kill any army officials anymore. But if she just stays idle and they will lunch a surprise attack at the Facility and the Habitat then she had no one but herself to blame when that time comes.
As for the killing of the higher officials that would be too easy, all she needs to do is search online about those officials...or conduct surveillance in the biggest military camp in the country and locate those higher officials and kill them one by one during their sleep.
But after the killing...new officials will soon be appointed and the same cycle repeats itself, she will be killing them all one by one, isn't that absurd? She already got tired of the endless killing happening in her mind even before it happened in real life. And to think that those officials also have a family of their own who will grieve on their loved ones pa.s.sing. She needs a permanent solution, not a temporary solution, she wants the Facility and the Habitat protected forever, she wants the army and government officials to leave her clan alone.
Or the better word to describe what she wanted is for the government to accept her clan openly and not consider them as parasites or enemies, after all, they are already mortals and no longer a treat to the society.
She wants the ex-vampire people to be able to walk in the city street without fear.
How to achieve that goal? that seemingly impossible dream?
Right now she had no idea.
Hopefully one day she will have a much better solution than killing. If she is a pure-blood human being she won't be revolting against the army annihilating all vampires on the face of the earth, unfortunately, she also got a vampire blood in her veins, it so happened that she is in the middle of the war between vampires and human beings and her sympathy lies heavily on the vampires side because they are the ones who are nearly going instinct.
She shuts her eyes again preparing to sleep.
Fifteen minutes later.
Her consciousness is finally shutting down and her breathing was even.
She was heading to a night of deep sleep.
...
Jessy opened her eyes...the surrounding area was strange...she can no longer see the ceiling of her room her eyes widened when she noticed that she has woken up in a forest. She's not in her room!
What the h.e.l.l?
Where is she?
What is this place?
She found herself lying in the ground along with the scattered dried leaves as her bed, she was surrounded with wild bushes and plants as well as towering trees above her. The chirping of the bird above the trees were the only sounds she can hear around her.
Strange!
How did she end up in this forest? It's the first time she had seen this place. She rose to her feet and dusted her clothes as the earth and dried leaves clung to her clothes and messy hair.
Then she heard something...in a far distance.
It sounded like a gus.h.i.+ng of water, where is it?
She looked around her, she can't see any river or stream, she can't see anything because the dense wild bushes were obscuring her vision.
She rose in the air and hovered above the towering trees, she was trying to locate the river or stream, and she saw the water, wow, such a beautiful stream in the forest!
Then out of the corner of her eyes, in the banks, she saw a figure...a silhouette of a woman's body, it was lying immobile surrounded by big rocks...looking dead.
She hovered towards the lifeless body, she looked closely at the face...then her heart stop beating upon realizing who that woman is!
It's Hannah!
She saw Hannah lying dead on the ground, her eyes lifeless and there was blood all over her body as if she was murdered. When she roamed her eyes around her looking for the culprit who killed Hannah, she saw shadows lurking behind the trees and dense bushes as if they were watching her reaction.
Hannah is dead!
No, it can't be!
Nooooooooo!
Nooooooooo!
Jessy woke up to the loud sound of her scream inside her room. Gasping for breath, she realized that it's just a dream, a nightmare!
But it looks so real!
Worrying for her pregnant friend's safety, she immediately teleported into Hannah's room to check on her.
When she landed inside Hannah's room, she wasn't in bed! she checked the bathroom...nothing!
Her fears intensify upon remembering her horrific dream a few minutes ago!
Where is she!?
Where is Hannah!?
