"Thank you, Mom!" Jessy smiled at her mother warmly. "I just want to spend the rest of my life with Adam, just like you and Dad," she smiled broadly.
Sarah returned the smile while rubbing her daughter's back with fondness. " You're already an adult capable of deciding which path of life you would like to take. I will support you all the way, my child."
Jessy hugged her mother.
"Don't worry mother, I will try to be a responsible and matured adult every time I made important decisions in my life."
"Good to know that my child," Sarah said.
They stayed a few minutes in the canteen, then go their separate ways.
Jessy was about to go back to the clinic but she decided to pay Hannah a quick visit.
She found her in her room lying in her bed, crying. "Hannah? Why are you crying?" she asked worriedly.
Hannah looked at Jessy. "I guess we can no longer delay the inevitable, Jess. Although, I'd been waiting for this day to finally come that Zain will know that I'm the one he married and the one carrying his child, still, I can't help but feel afraid that once he knows of the truth, he will hate me for deceiving him. I'm afraid that when I am no longer sporting your image, he will no longer give me even a single glance, that's all I'm afraid of."
Jessy was silent for a moment, Hannah's fear had a higher chance of materializing once Zain will know of the painful truth. She sat on the bed and released a deep sigh. "Hannah...if Zain will think that way then please don't despair. I want you to think of the good health of your baby, if Zain doesn't want you, the baby still needs you, focus on the baby's well being and the rest will fall into place," she consoled her.
Hannah placed her hands above her tummy then she burst into fresh tears.
"Stop crying. The baby can hear you crying inside your tummy, your child can feel your agony and misery down there, don't torture the fetus inside your womb with negative feelings, have mercy on your child, Hannah," Jessy said gently.
Hannah dried the tears on her face. "Okay...I will stop crying...thanks for your concern, Jess."
Jessy feels better after seeing Hannah stopped crying.
"I will go now back to the clinic to start another round of blood transfusion. After I'm done tonight, I will go with you to the queen's study room...wait for me, okay?"
Hannah nodded her head. "Okay, thank you for dropping by, Jess. I feel so much better now."
"No need to thank me, Hannah. You're my friend and I don't want to see you feeling depressed and sad, cheer up...okay? No matter what happened tonight, don't focus much on you and Zain, think of the well being of the baby, that's all you need to worry about. It will be much easier to focus on one thing during this difficult time. Just be strong for the baby and sooner or later Zain will see how wonderful you are as a person, if he can't see that worth in you then shame on him it's his loss, not yours..."
Hannah smiled brightly for the first time since Jessy entered the room.
"That's the smile you need to wear tonight, okay?"
Hannah nodded her head.
"Good! I'm done here. I will leave now and go back to the clinic, if you need me, you know where to find me," Jessy patted the pregnant woman's shoulder.
She exited the room and walked into the direction leading to the clinic.
When she entered the clinic, the doctor was already preparing his tool kit for the transfusion.
"Good morning, Doc!"
"Good morning, Jessy!"
She hoisted herself up on the bed to get ready for the blood transfusion.
"Let's start! Shall we?" the doctor said.
"Okay, I'm ready as a bee!" she answered.
The doctor went to the adjacent room to get the first recipient for that afternoon session and the blood transfusion began.
Six hours later...
Jessy gets up from the bed to have a dinner break, she faced the physician. "Doc, after dinner, the royal couple will discuss something important with me. I might not be able to come back, so don't wait for me anymore..."
"Okay, Jess."
"But just in case the conversation will end up quickly then I will let you know. I was supposed to do blood transfusion until midnight tonight...anyway...I will just inform you if I still have time," she said.
"Okay, just knock on the door next room, I will spend the rest of my time there if you see me asleep just wake me up," he said.
"Ok, see yeah later, Doc!"
Jessy exited the door and walked into the hallway in the direction of Hannah's room humming a love song.
When she entered the preggy woman's room, she found Hannah already dressed appropriately for the occasion, the baby b.u.mp is now looking more noticeable in her tummy. "Lovely..." she murmured, she always finds pregnant women interesting and fascinating to look at, one day she would love to carry her very own child in her tummy fathered by Adam. She can't wait for the time that she will finally spend her time with him and they will no longer be apart from each other. She would love to start growing a family of her own with Adam.
"Pregnancy suits you better, Hannah, you look lovely tonight with that dress!" she praises the woman's attire.
"Stop flattering me, Jess. It's just a plain black maternity dress that the Queen had given me, nothing special about my looks tonight," Hannah said.
"Well, it looks perfect on you, common, let's go now to the study room, I think the royal family is now waiting for our presence. Let's get this over with once and for all," she said.
"Okay, let's get moving!" Hannah said. The truth is she was excited to see Zain again tonight. It's been a while since the last time she saw him, she's been looking forward to seeing the man she loves so much, she misses him really bad, she was longing for his hugs and kisses and those wonderful intimate moments they shared together.
The two women left the room heading towards the queen's study room.
