The physician bowed to the Queen as a sign of greeting.
"Good evening my Queen," the doctor said.
"Doc, Hannah here is pregnant with my son's child, I just want to ask if it's safe for her to undergo blood transfusion today? Will, there be no implication on the baby?" the Queen asked.
The doctor looked at Hannah's noticeable baby b.u.mp and ponder for a moment.
"Hmm...we never done any blood transfusion with a pregnant woman before, so I have no idea how will the process of transfusion affect the baby's health. The only way to know how is to go ahead with the blood transfusion on Hannah and see the result after seven days. But I cannot guarantee the mother and child's safety. The worst thing could happen is that she might have a miscarriage, just to be on the safe side, we will just have to do the blood transfusion after she'd given birth to the baby. This way we can ensure the mother and baby's safety," the doctor explained.
The Queen looked at Jessy. "You heard the doctor, child?"
Jessy nodded her head. "Yes, Mother."
"Let's just wait after Hannah deliver the baby, okay? What's with the rush?" the Queen asked, frowning.
Jessy lowered her head feeling uncomfortable discussing delicate matters in front of Hannah and the physician.
The Queen saw something that was bothering Jessy's eyes, she needs to talk to the girl in private. "Thanks, doctor, we will go out now," she said and walked towards the door.
The doctor bowed his head to the departing royal highness.
Jessy and Hannah followed the Queen outside the clinic.
The Queen looked at Hanna. "You can go back now to your room, Hannah."
"Yes my Queen," Hannah said while bowing her head and continue walking in the hallway heading to her room.
"Jessy, you come with me to the study room...I need to ask you something," the Queen said and walked ahead.
"Okay Mother," Jessy replied and she followed the Queen into her study room.
Once they were inside the study room, they sat on the sofa, Jessy keeps to herself waiting for the Queen to address her.
Queen Margaret was intently watching the younger woman's face. "Jessy, why do you want Hannah to undergo blood transfusion? Can you tell me why?"
Jessy took a deep breath. "Because Hannah suggested to me that she is willing to transfer all her powers to your eldest son so that he won't feel powerless and useless anymore."
The Queen was shocked!
"No! I won't allow that, my son's heart was filled with hatred and desolation right now, if he will obtain power again he might go ballistic and will hurt anyone that will block his way," Queen Margaret was alarmed and worried by Jessy's revelation.
"Yes Mother, that's what I've been thinking all along the moment Hannah suggested it to me," Jessy finally confided to the queen.
"So... you want to eliminate Hannah's power through the blood transfusion?" the Queen asked.
"Yes!" Jessy nodded her head. "I just want to prevent your son from having power again, because if Hannah succeeded in transforming all her powers to Zain we don't know what he can do," she said.
Jessy and the Queen looked at each other with full understanding... they agreed on the same thing that it's much easier to handle Zain when he has no power so that they can avoid his angst and violent nature.
Jessy looked at the Queen. "Mother, I just want to ask this...just in case we will be attacked by enemies how many standby vampires we can gather to fight the enemies?" she needs to know in advance, just in case during the worst-case scenario, she already had an idea of their strength and weakness.
The Queen sighed.
"The King and I were talking about it last two days ago. We can gather as much as two thousand vampires to fight the enemies, these 2k vampires will be the last to be transformed with your blood because they are currently guarding the Facility," the Queen answered.
"Mother, what if there's a sudden attacked by the government forces, what will happen?" she asked.
The Queen wore a grim expression on her face. "Worse come to worst, we will fight those human soldiers to death. Anyways, we are already nearing extinction, if we can't see any way out then the Facility will be soaked with blood by both parties. We will kill as many human soldiers as possible before we will perish from this world and when that finally happens only you and Adam can stay alive, leave the fighting to us, secure your safety somewhere that the government can no longer trace your steps. One day, the vampire clan will rise again, it will now become yours and Adam's era. We're all ready to die, but we will try to survive a little bit longer as much as we can, but what is really important is for you and Adam to survive, in the end, that's all that really matters for the King and me."
Jessy becomes silent. If the rest of the vampire clan will fight to the death to ward of enemies then she can also the same. But she doesn't like seeing bloodshed from both sides because humans and vampires alike were both her ancestors. The blood that runs in her body was mixed with vampires and human blood. She always has compa.s.sion for both humans and vampires. If she can eliminate enemies silently without the need for ma.s.s killing then that's the route she's willing to take.
The Queen looks at the younger woman. "Jessy promised me that during the time the facility is overrun by enemies I want you and Adam to leave this place immediately and go away as far as you can. The future of our vampire clan lies in you and Adam's hands. Please don't disappoint us!"
Jessy released a deep sigh. "Yes Mother, I will tell Adam about what you said to me today." Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.
"That's good my child! I'm feeling better now. If the dark times will finally arrive don't look back at the Facility, instead, look ahead, the future looks much brighter if you are no longer carrying a heavy baggage on your shoulder. Do you understand me, child?" the Queen asked.
"Yes, Mother, I understand what you mean," Jessy responded.
The Queen rose to her feet. "Let's retire for the night, Jess. I'm going to my room now. You should rest as well," she said.
"Goodnight Mother!" Jessy replied.
The Queen nods her head and exited the study room followed by Jessy.
