Jessy waited for the queen to arrive. She's excited to see Adam again, she had waited for a long time for this opportunity to see him again.
A few minutes later.
The Queen finally arrived in the study room. She was pleased to see Jessy's excitement plastered all over her face. Finally, she can right the wrong that she had done to the couple. Time for them to be reunited in each other's arms.
"Are you excited to see Adam again, Jessy?" the Queen asked. She remembered so well how defiant the young woman was when she was about to marry her eldest son resulting her doing the drastic step of erasing her memory of Adam in Jessy's mind to make things easier, she was a cruel mother back then but she has no choice but to do it because it's the right thing to do during that time.
Jessy can't hide her excitement. "Yesss, please take me to him, Mother!"
The Queen was also excited to unite the two lovers. "First thing first... there are some things you need to know about the new Adam. After he was resurrected from death, the curse on his skin was gone, his ugliness vanished from his face. He looks different now, he was no longer the same ugly boy that you know before, he was now a handsome young man... a famous model in the mortal world," she explained.
Jessy was dumbfounded. Adam is not ugly anymore? He is no longer the same Adam that she used to love? How could that be?
"Come...hold my hand, Jessy. I will show you how does he looks right now," said the Queen.
The Queen and Jessy held each other's hands. The Queen teleported the two of them into the city where high ends boutiques were located.
They landed in the dark alley.
They strolled towards the busiest part of the streets were the majority of the stores were still open.
The Queen stops on one of the boutique shops that sell men's clothing. There was a life-size portrait of a smiling handsome male model sporting trendy casual clothing. His easy smile and hypnotic eyes seemed to be communicating with her.
"This is Adam's new look. He changed his name into Gavin Sanders," the Queen explained.
Jessy bit her lip feeling a little bit sad. The guy that she used to love was already gone, in front of her is a stranger... he doesn't look like Adam at all. His hair cut is different, his smile is now oozing with total confidence, he exuded an aura of someone successful and adored by millions. D-does he still loves her? What if he already had a new girlfriend? She was sure that with his good looks the women will flock to him like bees.
The Queen was studying Jessy's reaction, she was puzzled when she saw no joy in the younger woman's eyes, the excitement she saw earlier no longer exist on her face. "What's wrong, Jess? It seemed you are not happy with Adam's new look? Why?"
"I missed the old Adam!" Jessy retorted. She can't connect the old Adam and the new one, they look entirely two different people. So different from one another. Or maybe she was used to seeing the ugly one, she falls in love with Adam's ugly self and seeing him today in a new image is unsettling.

The Queen rolled her eyes. "Huh? Did you miss his ugly old look? I thought women on your age like's handsome boyfriends?" she scratched her head in bewilderment.
Jessy sighed.
"Weren't you happy that Adam's curse was finally gone? That he can finally mingle among mortal people without hiding his ugly face and horrendous looking skin?" the Queen asked.
Jessy was silent for a minute. What was she thinking? she chastised herself. She should be happy for Adam. It's been one of her wishes before he died that one day the curse will go away so that he can live a normal life. Now that he become famous with his new look she had a mixed feeling about this. What if Adam is no longer the same? that he changed a lot, inside and out. She was having second thoughts of seeing him again.
The Queen saw it.
"What are you afraid of, Jessy?"
"That he is already a changed man, he looks different to me...more like a stranger," she responded.
The Queen smiled a bit. "Of course, he undergoes many changes after his resurrection. But it's only normal, there's nothing to be afraid of when it comes to his changes..."
"D-did... he already had a new girlfriend, Mother?" she asked aloud, there was apprehension gleaming in her eyes.
The Queen smiled, Jessy seems to be feeling intimidated or jealous of her son's newly gained image and popularity. "I dunno, you should ask my son about it. We should get going, I will bring you to his condo unit now."
Jessy took a deep breath. "Okay, I'm ready to see him again," she responded. If she had more questions she'd better ask Adam not his mother.
