I wonder how long it's been since we parted, I'm traveling in a parallel universe but not a single monster.

“I'm bo~red.”

I pulled the wine from my storage and began to drink. I want to eat meat, since coming to this world I haven't had a single thing besides wine and cheese. It's not like I'm strapped for food, I've got more wine and cheese than I could possibly consume, but it's not satisfying. Anyway meat.the first thing I'm going to do when I reach the capital is eat some meat. This I swore.

“I'm still bored.” I looked up at the sky and yawned.

At that time I heard a sound coming from the gra.s.s. I turned my gaze to where the noise was coming from.

“What are you?” As I stared, the gra.s.s shook before the source of the sound showed itself.

“A wolf?”

Monsters began coming out of the gra.s.s and before I knew it, I was surrounded by wolves.

“This is it! This, is a parallel world!”

I felt excited, excited for the fight.

“I definitely needed something to vent my anger onto. I can just hit them all with erosion.”

Activating my skill I took a peak at the monsters status.

“Oh monsters have a status too huh, wait I guess it would be weird if they didn't wouldn't it.”

A monster very good at hunting.
Skilled at attacking with claws and fangs.

“Level 8?”

I was a little startled. I come here and the monsters are only level 8. I thought it was strange, even those guys were level 48.

Maybe the labyrinth that Shawn was in was a bit crazy. I thought this as I looked at the hunting wolves.

“Well whatever, I made it out alive.”

Now I felt deeply moved after having cleared the labyrinth. The hunting wolves were growling continuously but there was no sign of them attacking. For some reason the wolves seemed to be on their guard against me.

“What? Well I'd you're not going to come to me, I'll come to you! Well, I wanted to try saying that line at least once if I ever made it to a parallel world but…”
At that time. “Duck!”

Where did that voice come from? Her silver hair waving, a beautiful girl appeared. With a thin blade she began cutting down the hunting wolves one by one.

“Sierra? So, that's a Rapier huh.”

I said this quietly as the monsters that were just growling at me were now gus.h.i.+ng blood, they had been exterminated right in front of me.

“That got a little dangerous huh. Are you hurt?”

She stole my entertainment and more importantly, my loot but…

“Phew! You saved me.”

“Hmm? Even though you say that, you dont look happy at all. In fact why does it like you're holding a grudge against me?”

“What, a grudge? Come on now way, you totally saved me. Had you been any slower i would have ended up inside their stomachs.”

She stared right at me for a time before breaking into a smile and saying. “I see.”

“Sierrdono!”

A carraige was heading this direction.
It seemed that by chance they were headed to the royal capital so I decided to join them.

“I'm William Vector. This escort is Keis.”

“I'm Keis, nice to meet you.”

“I'm Sierra. Sierra Ecarlat.”

“I'm called Nito.”

“What a strange name.”

Appearance, late thirties.
This youthful man br.i.m.m.i.n.g with dignity was William, a merchant. By chance they were on their way to deliver goods to Razhausen.

In exchange for a free escort, they let me ride the carraige.

After the introductions, the talk moved on to how I happened to be there.

“No way!” For some reason Sierra blushed as she denied this?

“What are the royal white Knights?”

“You don't know?”

William appeared surprised.

“The royal capital Razhausen. Kings have ruled from their for generations. The current king is Arnold Razhausen. The royal white knights are the regiment of knights directly under his control.”

I wondered how amazing that was supposed to be. I still didn't know what was considered common sense in this world.

” However the truth is unknown, it's said that they rarely show themselves in public. I never dreamed I would meet one here of all places.”

“It's really nothing that special.” Sierra's cheeks were burning red as she said this.

Still that silver hair, I'm not borrowing William's words but I never dreamed I'd meet a silver haired beauty.

“But, to be affiliated with the royal white knights at such a young age, as expected of you Sierrdojo.”

After saying that he bowed in apology as it's rude to talk about a woman's age.

“I know of you as well William Vector-dono.”

“I am honored to hear that Sierrdojo knows of me.”

“William is famous?”

” Oh no, I cannot be compared to Sierrdojo.”

“How humble, but I dare say there isn't a merchant in the world that doesn't know your name.”

It seems William has been all over the world selling rare merchandise, not normally found on the market.

“By the way Nito-dono, why were you in that place?” William asked.

“I….. Decided to try going on an adventure, on a bit of a whim.”

I amazed myself with that meaningless remark.

“In that case you'll need to pay a visit to the guild right?” Sierra asked.

“Guild?”

“Oh, was I mistaken?”

“Oh yeah right the guild yeah, no there is a need for that….”

“I thought as much, in that case once we arrive at the capital why don't I show you around?”

“O-h that makes me jealous.” William chimed in.

“By the way Nito, what is your occupation?”

I can't lie.
Why, I can't think of a plausible lie for this situation.
If I say swordsman what will happen then. I have a sword, but that lie would fall apart rather quickly. Anyway the royal white knight in front of me looks like a superb knight.

I can't say sorcerer, all I can use is healing magic. Well I did have the [Saint's Wrath]. No I had to give up on that I felt like they would say “How angry are you, Saint?”.

“I'm a healer.”

“What did you say?” That was William. “That's…… I see. In that case you'll be looking to a.s.semble a party?”

“Yeah it'd be good to find one….” I laughed bitterly.

“In that case why don't I talk to the guild for you?” Sierra offered. “I have a connection here. As a healer it would be difficult for you to become an adventurer even for free so I'll help you out.”

As I thought, that's the reality for healers.
Beside her William spoke. “If you were a priest you could probably manage it though.” He said it lightly as though rubbing salt on the wound.

“It's fine, even as a healer you can find others willing to adventure with you!”

“So you've seen this happen?” I wanted to ask that, but the words caught in my throat.

“There are many in this world who are unconfident in the occupation and are unable to take that step. Nito, let's make you the first!”

No, take the step, I mean I said I was going to be an adventurer first but, I wouldn't say I'm confident. This is a big deal.

” Let's take that first step! ” Sierra added.

” Hahaha, for now I'll just do my best. ”

” That's the spirit! ”

She's kind of an airhead isn't she? For now I have her show me around but I won't expect anything after that.

The wagon shakes and my rear starts to ache, I guess this is an element of fantasy as well.
