Noah followed the elder together with them, with the young masters leading the group. The walk was not that long and they soon reached the entrance that looked like some sort of ancient chinese wooden gate with no doors, Noah don't really know the name of it.

After pa.s.sing through the gate, the chair elder divided them in 2 groups, everyone with Low Talent was in Noah group. The other group of people had everyone with at least Medium-Medium Talent, the young masters were obviuosly included in it.

The chair elder said to the group of Low Talent people to wait for someone, and left together with the other group. Some time later a young man with tradiotinal blue chinese clothes, probabily a disciple of some sort, walked towards them.

"I'm Zhang Xuan, one of the outer disciples of the sect. Follow me." He was pretty direct, wasting no time in chit-chat. Noah and the group followed him into a place filled with caves, it looked slightly like a beehive.

"This is the place where the outer sect disciples live, once you choose a cave, write your name above the entrance of it to make people know that the cave is yours. You can write it in any way you want. Any questions?" Zhang Xuan said in a uninterested tone like he already had done this countless times.

"Senior Brother Zhang, where do the people who followed Elder Xu go?" A boy lifted his hand and asked what nearly everyone was curious about. And the chair elder name seems be Elder Xu.

"They followed Elder Xu to the entrance of the inner sect, everyone with Medium-Medium Talent and above automatically becomes a inner sect disciple." Said him while letting a bit of envy escape in his tone. Every disciple except Noah and Xiao Long made envious faces at his mention of inner sect disciples.

"Then how do we become inner sect disciples?" Suddenly, someone no one had expected lifted his hand and asked this question, Xiao Long. Zhang Xuan frowned but still said it anyway.

"There's an outer sect compet.i.tion every six months, you need to rank at least 15º place in it to qualify to be an inner sect disciple" He said in a tone like he didn't believe he would be able to do it.

"This guy wants to become a inner sect disciple with Low-High talent? What a joke!" Some guy said it in the crowd while sneering, with "Trash" being said left and right in the crowd of future outer sect disciples. Xiao Long only had a determined face after hearing what Zhang Xuan said, like all the rest doesn't matter. His att.i.tude only made the crowd unreasonably more p.i.s.sed, like they were expecting him admit he is trash or something.

Noah had mixed feelings watching this scene, where everyone acts like they planned beforehand how to anger the protagonist. He doesn't pity the protagonist because he knows the guys who were mocking him would probabily be beaten up sooner or later.

The ruckus soon ended and everyone set off to find a cave for themselves, Noah included. He soon found what he thinks as a good place, not too isolated but not too many caves near it. Then he suddenly thought of a problem he was ignoring until now.
