Ned thought that it was good, as that way he can see the capital too and eat the food the old man talked about.

"Yeah, I had thought the same, but in the end we knew what they had wanted this time" Ned replied, and although he suspected the old man already knew he was still going to tell him.

"Okay, first of all I'm now a rank 5. And second I fought him with my friends and our general was the one to kill the demon eventually."

"You are a rank 5, that was fast, you may really be the one grandpa is waiting for" but she was relieved to hear the demon was killed with the help of other people.

But then she remembered that Lucy had fought with him too and she was internally displeased.

"It's a deal then" she happily replied.

While the old man through this whole exchange was just smiling kindly.

After eating and excusing himself, Ned instead of meditating, allowed himself to sleep this one time.
