After eating his lunch along with the still upset Lori, he went back to his room. Today he would be meditating and ruminating about the plan he would take tomorrow. He was a transmigrated person, he wouldn't just go fight and pray everything goes well.

The first thing would be, the disguise. He would use the disguise mask he had, to change his facial features, and then after he would wear a helmet. As for his armors. He wouldn't be wearing them.

He had bought new ones along with a couple he had got as a reward from the s.p.a.ce. He would be wearing those instead of his usual ones, all for the sake of staying low. He didn't want to be spotted this early by either the demons or the humans.

And after successfully finding the unit he would fight on, he would follow their orders, to blend in well. He had already heard from the old man, that usually in the first attack by the demons in the year, they send some generals to lead the volunteers like him.

He said they would usually send a rank 5~6.

And those volunteers, like him, would have to be in a guild to be chosen, plus they won't take in any below rank 3. Such measures were taken to make the number of casualties as low as possible. After all a rank 2 in such a war will only die helplessly.

Although he didn't know why they limited the volunteers only to those affiliated with guilds, he could guess that they wanted to limit the unknown factors from the human side. After all, everyone in a guild can be proven to be a human by reading the guild card.

As for him, the old man had talked with the guild master of the swordsmen guild to let him join. He was as such waved from the test that he would have to normally take.

The guild card he got was silver, and had on the back a half sheathed sword. It was the same as the one Jeff had shown him when he first entered the Yozzalera kingdom. It had his name, race and rank.

He also bid the old man goodbye, to which he just reminded him to not let his guard down, even among allies. He had already told him as such many times before. Ned replied yes and then took off to the meeting place outside the wall.

Once he got outside the city Wrester, he started sprinting using the three steps of Hermes to boost his speed.

Such a journey that usually would take at least 2 days by carriage only took Ned two hours and a half.

Once he got out the wall, he found a huge number of people, some were wearing military clothes, and were in a formation, while some were standing in small groups, or alone.

While looking around, someone spotted him and came to him, and Ned saw that it was a guy wearing military garbs and had black rimmed gla.s.ses.

"Excuse me, are you here to volunteer in the defense against the demons?"

"That's right" Ned replied.

"would you show me your guild card" the person said.

Ned nodded, however he chose the option of hiding his name and face from the card before he'll show it to him.

Although he had already changed his facial features the card still had his real face. Or so he though but once he brought the silver card from his pocket he was shocked that it had his disguised face now and even his name was the alias he had decided to go with in this fight. And he wondered if it was due to the mask of disguise.

And so seeing this he didn't feel like hiding his face, or name anymore.

The guard once he read that the race was human. He wrote his name and rank in the paper he was holding and after that said that he is free to wait In a place nearby for the general to come.
