Stones were easy to find and he even destroyed some parts of the mountain to get them, using his inventory by dropping other stones on it. As for the trees he would just coat his sword with mana and slash hard enough to pa.s.s completely through the 1 meters wide trees. He had even heard an alert the first time he coated his weapon and used it to cut a tree.
But he thought to check everything once he got to the cave and entered the s.p.a.ce.
He was now running back to the cave with a fast pace. As he did not see any red dot on the map, he didn't see any reason why to hold his speed back.
As it was his first time using his whole speed, he was cutting through the forest like an arrow released from a bow. And with a wide grin on his face that was now dirty with dust and dirt from all the fighting and running between trees. The return journey that would have taken him around an hour normally now took him but 20 minutes.
Once he reached his cave he entered it and subsequently entered the s.p.a.ce.
And then he fell on his back in the ground with a happy smile. When he first came under the sleep magic, as named by him, he had the same feeling of panic that he got facing the wolf, but once he used his mana to wake his drowsy self, his excitement grew. Excitement to fight.
He didn't understand it himself, but he knew that he had enjoyed that fight. And he went searching for more. He had hunted almost 20 of the sheep. It was not that he enjoyed killing them or anything, it was the fight itself and seeing your hard work paying off that was enjoyable.
Once he calmed down from his emotional trip, he began antic.i.p.ating the alerts that he will get. He hurriedly opened the screen to see.

He saw that all his equipment now had fire immunity. And he already had some applications for this new ability of his equipment. But for now he wouldn't be able to use it anyway. And his armor set now gave medium increase to his defence. And after that he turned his attention to the new weapon he will get.
He had first wanted another dagger so that he can dual wield them but after seeing the sword skill, he wanted to have a sword that was focused more on cutting like a katana. Although in it's description it said it can be used with any type of sword, he wanted to focus on speed.
It is not like he would throw his longsword, he would just first master the use of a katana, then after that he'll get back to it.
And with that thought, he grabbed the black core, p.r.i.c.ked his finger using his knife that was strapped to his left thigh, and dripped some blood on it.
After the light that shone, he now had in his hand a katana with it's sheath. It was 80cm in length with a 25cm handle. It was beautifully made and as he noticed with his sword and dagger, it also was decorated with a golden color on it's handle.
He opened it from it's sheath and marveled at how sharp it looked, he went into a nearby rock and swung it and cut a piece from it. And once he saw that the surface of the cut was smooth he knew that this sword was going to be his main weapon.
Finally done with his check ups, he put everything back into the inventory, including his long sleeve s.h.i.+rt and shoulder pad and swords/daggers.
His upper body was bare once again, as he was going to start his training and it was a pain in the a.s.s to keep wearing his equipment when he starts to sweat.
Before going to hunt he had already infused mana into his body and he was going to consolidate it now just like it said in the manual.
His training exercises would be the same as before, but with much heavier rocks and tree trunks. And so tying a rope to a big rock. He held it and started sprinting at a fast speed.
A couple hours later he was splattered on the ground and breathing heavily and sweating buckets. He saw the bar close to rank one in the status fill up a bit, with his calculations, he would need a month and a half to reach rank two. And so he struggled to sit cross legged so that he can start meditating.
He calmed his breathing, and channeled his mana according to the path shown in the manual, and once he revolved it one time he guided it into his heart. After which he repeated this action all the time he was meditating until it was morning time.
