Richard saw that Erin was worried about Anna. He thought for a bit and then said. "She is not dead yet. But she is on the verge of dying. If you want to save her, there is only one way to do that."

"W-what way?" Asked Erin, surprised. She really hoped there would be a way to save Anna. With teary eyes, she looked up at Richard. Too many bad things had taken place on a single day which she couldn't even accept, and now Anna, the girl who helped her so many times, was about to die. Even the thought filled Erin with despair.

Richard sighed and said. "You can make her your blood slave. But I have to remind you that you can have five blood slaves only. They can have their slaves too, but it won't be the same. If you want to choose her, you have to think carefully about that. The blood slaves are for helping their master. They can't be useless."

Erin rolled her eyes at Richard. What did he mean by useless? Anna was a big help for her! She has to save her. Thinking of that, she asked again. "What do I have to do to make her my blood slave?"

Richard sighed again. It seemed like Erin had made up her mind. Though Anna wasn't the best choice, it was still Erin's choice, so he compromised and said. "First drink some of her blood, then give some of yours to her. That way you will make a connection with her. Of course, as you are doing that, you have to think about wanting her to be your servant. If there is denial from the other side, the contract will fail. If there is not, you will be successful."

Saying that Richard stood at the side and watched Erin. Erin took a deep breath. "Alright, I'll make her my blood slave." Saying that she moved next to Anna and licked some of the blood that was on her body. Erin changed again to her red hair and eyes. In the next moment, she used her nails to make a small wound on her hand and brought some of her blood to Anna's mouth, making her drink it.

"Please, become my blood slave. I don't want to lose you. Please, or else, I won't have anyone to support me." Murmuring to herself, Erin waited for some changes to happen. Not long after, Anna's body started to transform. Her wounds started healing bit by bit. Her eyes opened and her canines grew. She bit Erin's hand and continued to drink her blood.

From this sudden bite, Erin yelped in surprise. But she relaxed a bit later. She started crying as she felt the connection between Anna and herself. That was the first good thing happening to her today. As Anna drank blood, Erin embraced her and cried silent tears. Her body was trembling from time to time.

A bit later, Anna finally stopped drinking Erin's blood. She tried to separate from Erin, but Erin was hugging her too tightly. "M-master," Anna called out. Erin slowly lifted her face, looking at Anna. She felt a sense of relief.

Erin slowly separated herself from Anna. Anna finally managed to stand up and bow to Erin. "Thank you for saving my life, master. From today onwards all your orders will be like a law for me."

Erin blinked. Orders? Laws? Oh, Anna was her blood slave now, right. She rubbed her eyes, removing the tears. Smiling brightly at Anna, she said. "From now on, we are one family. No need to call me master. Just call me Erin."

Anna was taken by surprise but still nodded. "Yes, Lady Erin."

Richard looked at that scene, a bit disappointed. It's not that Anna didn't have her strength, but Erin favors her too much. She was just a maid. 'Whatever, that's what Erin wants, let it be.' Murmuring in his mind, he turned around and started walking to the throne room.

"Go have some rest, today was a hard day for you." His words echoed in the corridor as his silhouette was gradually disappearing.

"Stand up, no need to kneel on the ground. Let's go to my room, I want to take some rest." Saying so, Erin started walking too. Anna followed her close by. After a few minutes, they came to Erin's room.

"Can you please help me clean myself up? After that, you can leave me alone. I want some to have some time alone." Said Erin, as she slowly started undressing. Anna nodded and helped her out, cleaning her from the dirth and blood. Richard's cloak was now in the corner of the room. After Anna finished, she left the room silently. She could feel that Erin had a lot of her mind.
