Life Of The Vampire Girl 26 Chapter 25: The Wolf's Ambition

In the north direction of the forest, 40 kilometers away from the castle, there was a small settlement of various races under the command of Richard. But now that place was filled with corpses. Everything around was painted in red with blood.

Three wounded half-vampires lay there. They were barely alive, surrounded by werewolves.

"Did you see this, Bryan? I told you that the Shadow Lord isn't anything we should fear. Look at his followers, they are so weak." One of the werewolves said.

"Of course, big brother! You are the biggest genius born in the last 500 years! There is no one stronger than you!" Answered another werewolf.

"Hahahahaha, of course, I am the strongest! Those elders are just cowards. Why should I fear the Shadow Lord? He is just a vampire! Those hateful vampires, we have to eliminate them! There is only one pureblood vampire left and those elders are scared to attack him! That's humiliating for our race!" The leader laughed as he said that.

"Y-You will not have a good end. Our Lord will avenge us!" One of the half-vampires said.

"Pah, our leader will finish your so-called Lord! But you won't be able to witness that scene!" One of the wolfs said in a mocking tone.

"Hey, don't chat with your meal. Finish them and let's have some vampire meat!" Said the leader.

The three half-vampires shuddered. Before they could react, they were swarmed by the werewolves. Their limbs and bodies were bitten off. They were being eaten alive! The three vampires' screams echoed for over two minutes and finally, the silence came back. If you listened closely, you could only hear the sound of tearing of flesh and breaking of bones from time to time. The scene was something no ordinary human could witness and stay sane at the same time.

'I knew big brother was strong. We have to show to these elders that we can eliminate that vampire eyesore. Then big brother Lance will become our chief and lead us to create an Empire for us werewolves! We already gathered close to 200 of our brothers and sisters for this mission. There are the lesser races as well. With an army like that, we can't be stopped!' As Bryan was thinking that to himself, he got excited too. After all, if Lance became the chief, then he, too, would be promoted!

"Alright, we are finished here. That was a nice meal. Send the kobolds forward! We will continue our attack! The battle is just beginning!" Commanded Lance.

'I'll show my power to the whole world. I'll show everyone the power of us werewolves!" Lance was muttering to himself as he watched his army going slowly forward. He had over 5 000 creatures of various races with him. That was a big army. And from those 5 000, only 200 were werewolves, but that was normal. After all, the werewolves were a lot stronger than those lower races. 200 were enough to lead 5 000.

Lance really wanted to show to those elders that this last vampire, Richard, wasn't something that should be feared. That was only one vampire, nothing more. He wanted to eliminate the old enemy of their race, the last vampire who was alive. After that, the werewolves would dominate that forest! That was his dream. He took a deep breath. The battle wouldn't be easy at all, but he was sure that he could win.

"Brothers, there is a feast in front of us! Let's destroy the Shadow Lord and eat till we are full!" Lance bellowed.

They started marching to the next settlement. Full with battle spirit. The war already started, they will win it or die. The wolves' howls echoed through the forest. Their task was to eliminate the last vampire and take control of his territory. The enemy before them must die!
