For the next few days, they did what they were supposed to do quietly. They would eat together at breakfast and lunch, but would always go out for dinner. Julianna washes everything after they eat and cleans the kitchen while he did his own thing. He kept working in the garage until dusk. With all his energy already exhausted, he no longer wanted to cook for their dinner so he would always ask her to get changed at 6pm and go to the nearest restaurant or hotel to eat. Most of the time, the waiters would offer them couple menus as they thought she was his wife or girlfriend. With all eyes on them, people kept telling them that they make a good husband and wife. She would always just smile at them politely but he would just look away everytime.

They followed the same routine tonight. He told her this morning that he was almost finished with the car he has been working with so he asked if she could get changed earlier today to which she obliged.

She wore a black top with open sleeves and a red knee length skirt. Her milky white skin can be seen through the opening on her shoulders and her lovely legs noticeable because of her red skirt. Though she could afford all brands of cosmetics, she loves the shades that gave her an everyday look. So after doing her brows and lashes, she only wore a very light peach tint on her lips.

She was all done when she heard a soft knock on her door. She stood in front of the mirror for the last time, glanced at her image, then reached her purse before opening the door.

He was das.h.i.+ng as usual. She got used to him dressing up like this for dinner and she actually found herself admiring his looks every single night. She didn't know when but she started getting excited at what he would wear everytime. Tonight, he was wearing a maroon knitted sweater over his white s.h.i.+rt. His black fitted pants hugged his legs perfectly.

She almost forgot her coat, thankfully he saw it lying on her bed before he closed the door so he went in and took it then followed her as they descended the stairs. She smiled shyly and thanked him but felt embarra.s.sed at the same time. What was she thinking? She's been very forgetful lately especially whenever she was with him.

She escorted him to his car and opened the door for her. She loved how he has been treating her after that incident from a week ago. He didn't tell her the reason he got so irritated that night and she wouldn't dare ask him for fear that he would keep his distance again. For her, it was enough that he is treating him well and allowed her to live with her for free.

The drive to the venue was longer today. They stopped at The Garden Grove, a high end restaurant which is famous for their variety of sea food menus. It was located atop a hill, overlooking the city. He opened the door for her as she alighted his car, and she reciprocated with a smile. They both approached the entrance as the maître d' nervously met them. She caught him throwing a glance at the maître d' which prompted the latter not to continue whatever he was about to say.

"Table for Brandon Chiu."

"This way please," the middle-aged man answered as he led them to a vacant spot at the corner. It wasn't easy to get a reservation from this restaurant. They only have 18 branches across the country, usually located in big cities. Even the rich and famous reserve their seats way in advanced in order to get a chance to sit on one of their tables. And it's surprising that the restaurant had a branch in this town.

They were seated facing each other. This wasn't the first time they went out to dinner but for some reasons she felt nervous tonight.

The host handed them the menu. She loved sea foods and she had been to one of their branches near her home so she was quite familiar with the food from the menu. She closed the menu and ordered her favorite spinach soup, pan-seared scallops with cream sauce and angel hair pasta and pistachio pannacotta. He smiled at her and ordered the same.

The food was served shortly and they enjoyed their food silently only glancing at each other from time to time. They lived in the same house but they still have a lot to discover about each other. She only knew he was taken by her grandfather when she was around 16 years old. She doesn't even know his age. And starting a conversaton with him felt awkward.

They were about to finish their meal when another pair came in.

"Brandon!" The girl called. "You're finally here!"

Brandon stood up to welcome the two. The girl leaped to hug him then landed a kiss on his lips.
