"So you've gotten yourself a dream wedding in just a night?"

Ye'er teased Xiang when they see each other, as all the ladies in marriageable ages was summoned to gather together in the south wing of the palace in the imperial garden.

"Just a bit overboard.!" She wink while blus.h.i.+ng. "but I guess someone else has gotten too. ."

She chuckled pointing to Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ who's talking to Wu diànxià. 

"I wonder what they were up to?"

Ye'er muttered curiously.

Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ, Xiang Gōngzhǔ and Xin'er who accompanied Ye'er Gōngzhǔ appeared in a dress with vibrant colours, that makes the other ladies raised their brows in curiosity.

It was known to them as their customs, that all maidens in whatever status they belong should not wear any vibrant colored dress unless they were already engaged to be married or already married.

Xiang Gōngzhǔ dress was the most eye catching of all, as she wears a plain red silk with a full bloom peony that embroidered in her belt while Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ wears a bright purple dress embroidered with wild flowers that has not yet to bloom.

The style of her dressing is a bit different in the capital as they were quite liberated, her upper chest was being exposed that makes Wu diànxià frowned and confronted her before she could see the other. 

Xin'er wear a yellow dress in a conservative style but Ye'er still find it suspicious. She often steal a glanced toward Xin'er who happened to be lost somewhere in her thoughts.

"Have you made up your mind?"

Ah'nuh asked him back in the same manner, that makes Wu diànxià frowned.

"Im asking you!" He hissed impatiently.

"Im asking you, also!" She glared at him in fury. "don't bother to asked me something you don't even know the answer!"

He gritted his teeth, why this girl had the ability to pulled the best and the worst out of him?

"Then prove me!" She snapped, they stared into each other in fury before Wu diànxià thought of something to counter her.

"Would you like me to kissed you here?"

he asked while a dangerous smile was curved in his lips that makes her step back a little. What the heck? I just want to confront her with her dress and why would I care how she dressed?

"You.!" she said narrowing her eyes.

"Don't try to challenge me. .

"Im not!"

She muttered softly that took him aback, at that moment he felt that he wanted to hugged her and console her. What is wrong with me?

One moment he was angry on her and moment later he wanted to console her. .

"Apologized Ah'nuh diànxià in behalf of my brother. !" 

"Jiě.!" 

Xiang grab Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ's arm while Wu stared at her, confusedly.

"Ye'er please bring Ah'nuh diànxià with you I had something to discussed with this egg head!" 

Xiang said smiling but Wu sense the danger beyond that smile as he knew women in their family is quite scary.

Ye'er smiled at her before leaving them.

"What the h.e.l.l are you doing?"

Xiang narrowed her eyes while asking her younger brother when the two princesses was no longer in their sight.

"I don't know. .I just want to. .

"What?" She asked impatiently. "Look I understand that you have been confused but instead of pus.h.i.+ng her away why don't you think of something that make her gets closer to you?"

Think of something that makes him closer to you! She remember Ye'er had told her before, if honey trap is quite effective then it will probably work the same, this time.

"And why would I do that?" Wu asked defiantly. "Besides. .she already set her eyes on someone else.!"

Xiang stared at his brother, he seems like dejected but still he wasn't aware of his reaction, "stubborn as a goat!" Xiang thought.

"Its simply because you're blind!"

She snap and looked in the other direction. Both of them fell in silence, Xiang was reminiscing the times that they were just a small kids.

Those days. .when everything was plain and simple and now here they are stuck in the games of emotion.

Though she wasn't that close to Wu'er but still they were siblings, she knew that Wu's att.i.tude is quite similar to their older brother, Taizi diànxià.

"Im confused, Jiě. !"he sighed. "Whether im just following Taizi ge's tasked or its just me. .

"What tasked.?" Xiang asked in confusion. "What the h.e.l.l is going on?"

"Its about Ah'nuh and me, perhaps this is the only way to protect myself being struck in between.!" He sighed. 

"As you see someone else is fighting against Tàizǐ gē in the dark. .he thought this is the only plausible way to protect me!"

"Is that your only reason?"

"Yes. .I mean no!" 

"Do you feel like being obliged?" She asked her brother calmly. "Have you been in a woman?"

"No.!" he snapped. "And. .yes! Im not a hypocrite to lie on you, I was raised in the battle field you surely knew that. .

"That I knew!" She said avoiding his eyes. "What I meant. . a real one.?"

"I guess no. .I never been inloved, have you?"

"Yes and once.!" She smiled sweetly to her brother. "And Im always been inloved with him!"

"Are you going to marry him?" Wu asked her innocently.

"Yes.!" She snap imperiously. "But we are not talking about me, were talking about you!"

"Im not supposed to talked on you with this. .you're a woman and its a bit awkward for me!"

"Indeed im a woman and thats the reason why Im suitable enough to put some sense into your darn head.!" she glared at him.

"Don't underestimate a woman my dear brother, You got to know yourself more than anyone when you find the one!"

"Why is that?"

"We maybe weak. .but we are also capable of destruction, we can pulled the best and worst out in our man!" She chuckles. 

"But only you will be affected in such emotion when you found yourself a better half!"

"So it was like that.?" He asked himself. "but she's a future queen, would she dares to fall inlove with me?"

"Don't forget that you were also born with privileged. .are you not a valiant general who fought for the safety of his people? Beside your a prince brother. .its not your faults that she could not see how great you are!"

"Am I?"

"Of course and you are my younger brother.!" She smiled. "as your older sister, I also wants the best for you!"

"What Im going to do, Jiě. ?"

"We will see. !" She smiled mischievously. "Just do all the best that you can, perhaps Tàizǐ gē's decision is what best for us. I don't want to see all our brothers killing each other just for the throne!"

"I don't want to fight with it either. .but if I do!" He stared at his sister who happened to glared at him in a very serious manner. 

"I will fight along side with the one who deserved it the most!"

Xiang sighed in relief, if Wu will going to fight for the throne then everything will becomes more complicated, he has the military power in his hands.

Wu will cause a great fraction in the court. Yan Jing will be caught in between and Ye'er wont just stand and watched them fight against each other.

Tàizǐ will be hold up in between if he was being attacked in both side, what will happened then?

What if someone else would succeed in the throne after their father? What if he decided to murder all his brother just to insure the throne for himself.?

If that will happened then all the princesses will become a spoils of war and meant to sent somewhere far to be a peace treaty.

She will never let such things to happened. She knows that in the fight for the throne, the one who's not clever enough will be doomed.

"Wu promised me. ! that no matter what happened. .Stand where your heart is, always do what do you think is best for you, ok?" 

"What's wrong Jiě.?" He frowned.

Tàizǐ's plan is clever enough. .in order to maintained the balance in the court, he had to send Wu'er away but he also made sure that Wu'er will lead a better life than being stranded in their fights.

She will going to help her older brother on his plan as she knew Tàizǐ is the one who deserved to sit in the throne amongst her male siblings.

"Nothings wrong. .you silly!" 

She said while beating his head with her fist.

"By the way. .I saw her lips,when did you become a vampire?"

Wu flushed. His face was reddened in embarra.s.sment. Xiang was also stunned and her face turn slightly red when she remembered that Yan Jing accidentally bit her neck in their love making.

That's what probably the reason why Tàizǐ 

and Yu'er was staring at her while throwing an accused look in Yan Jing that he just ignored.

"How did you know it was me?" Wu asked sourly.

"If it's not you who else then?" She chuckled.

"The way you looked at her brother, you can't deny it!"

"I never been in loved but I was surprised to feel such emotion. .and she annoys me all the time!" 

He blurted out that makes Xiang laughed.

"You don't know that you're, annoying also?" 

"How Im a supposed to know.!" He murmured.

"She feels the same towards you, so probably the feeling is mutual.! understand yourself first and answered your own question before asking someone else!" 

Why being inlove is such a complicated things? Wu thought, 

But on the other hand his sister had made a good job of making him understand a thing or two. 

He maybe confused but he was certain that he doesn't want to lost Ah'nuh.
