The banquet that his Majesty had promised to the envoys for the neighboring kingdom had been postponed due to the absence of the prince of northern kingdom.

Now that the prince had finally arrived his Majesty called every one to take part on it, as the banquet landed on the day of the first mark of the kingdom's celebration.

This was the very rare occasions were commoners,rich businessman, dukes and lords were all invited to gathered together to witnessed the fire displays as a mark of the opening of the very beginning of the festival.

When Ye arrived at the palace Xiang dragged her into her side and she was asked by Xiang to sit next to her as Tàizǐ diànxià had to sit next to Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ as he was her counterpart.

That, she understand but seeing them talking happily makes her heart crumpled in jealously, she was occasionally throwing a gazed towards them that she thought none of them was aware of it.

"You're killing them!

Xiang chuckles as she clearly saw her frowning and throwing an angry squint towards them.

"Can I murder them?" her eyes narrowed.

"With pleasure!" 

Xiang snap. If she's jealous, Xiang was no less than like her, she once told her that she would never allowed to be cheated by a cheating scoundrel. 

"I wonder. .what if that brat changed her mind and cling to Tàizǐ diànxià instead?"

Xiang put her cup of tea with the loud bang that made her jerk.

"Don't she dare dream about it!" She said angrily. "If she doesn't want to be buried in this kingdom, she'd better get her hands clean otherwise. .

"What?" 

Ye asked Xiang amused of her reaction.

"She'll be dead because your going to murder her!" Xiang chuckled.

"Me?" Her eyes widened in shocked. "Why me?"

"Who else if not you?!" She said rolling her eyes."Though I don't like her ending up with my brother but Tàizǐ ge's relations.h.i.+p has nothing to do with me, do you mean its just find with you if someone else would try to s.n.a.t.c.h your man?!"

She shook her head but on the other hand she wasn't insane to murder a woman just because her lover was stolen by her. If her man loves her soo much he wont fell inlove with someone else in the first place!

"Its not the woman that Im going to kill.!" She said clenching her hand."Its My man, instead!"

"That will makes sense!"

Xiang agreed to her, both of them were busy throwing a glanced towards the man of their life. Ye'er saw her brother sit next to Wu diànxià opposite to them while prince Yu was no where to be found and so was Xin'er, she frowned. 

Her brother will occasionally steal a glanced towards Xiang if she was not looking in his side while Wu diànxià was appeared to be rather annoyed.

She sighed, in that place only two people were seems to be happy, Tàizǐ diànxià was casually talking to Ah'nuh but she wondered what was their conversation is all about, she found Ah'nuh giggling and Tàizǐ had a plaster smiled in his darn face.

Annoyed, she was about to stand when a man suddenly block her. She looked at him in surprised. 

The man that stood in front of her is a kind of man who would make you stopped in your tracks to throw a second look, his flawless brown skin will make one think of him as a warrior combined with gentleness.

She had to admit he's an attractive man but he wasn't her kind of guy. 

Even Xiang was stunned by him. she wasn't aware that the man was also studying her and most of all, she was not aware that the princes in her family side whose been protective towards her were throwing an angry squint at the man's back.

Tàizǐ diànxià and Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ suddenly stop from their conversation.Tàizǐ's expression was grim and his eyes narrowed as if something very precious had been stolen from him.

The man gives a discreet coughed. "Im sorry to disturbed you but I saw you on the way here, I wonder if I could know your name!" He said smiling at her.

She frowned at the man words, base on his attire Ye'er concluded that he's no other than the prince of northern kingdom. 

His cape was made of wolf skin that gives him an intimidating aura of a northerner.

"Im Yan Ye'er, Duke's Yan daughter a wi. .

"Im Xiao Ye. .Its nice to meet you, Gōngzhǔ.!" 

He said with out letting her finished her speech. .then stretched his hands towards her that she accepted out of courtesy but the thing that shocked her was when he placed a light kissed at the back of her hand that makes her gasp and blushed.

"Its our custom!" 

He said smiling. To save the situation Xiang voluntarily stretched her hands that the prince accepted in the same manner but the spark of his eyes was never the same with the one he had on Ye'er

"Would you be so kind to accompany me while Im visiting here in the kingdom?"

Ye suddenly stunned her mouth slightly open as she was shocked by his bluntness.

It was a direct request from a man she doesn't even knew. He was a guest and why on earth he would asked her to accompany him rather that asking someone else, is he asking death?

"Had this man gone nuts?" She thought. She glanced towards where Tàizǐ diànxià was sitting only to make herself frowned.

"Its my pleasure but I think its. .

"Thats settled then!" 

He said with a pleasant smile in his lips before bowing in her, in their own custom and leaved her in dazed.

"What does he want?" 

Ye'er asked uncertainly, her brows furrowed.

"That Prince was smitten by you!" Xiang giggles when the prince was gone. "But I know he won't last!"

"Why is that?" She asked curiously.

"Someone out there, throwing a dagger!"

Xiang chuckles, she followed her gazed and she realized that Tàizǐ diànxià had a grim and annoyed expression on his face. 

"If his gazed was a weapon that man was aleady dead!"

"Stop running your imagination!" She frowned. "His handsome indeed but definitely not my type!" 

"Oh.!" Xiang leaned her jaw in her hand while tapping the table, Ye doesn't know whether Xiang was bored or something but she realized that Xiang always reminded her of Tàizǐ diànxià, the two of them had an identical mannerism.

"He's not bad, if my father would give me to him. .I would gladly accept it!" 

Xiang said after a while, she must not be aware that her voice was loud enough to be heard in the opposite direction, Ye saw her brother's expression suddenly changed. 

She becomes worried. 

"He must have heard it!" She muttered softly that made Xiang jerked. 

"Heard what?!" 

"Things just get complicated, you know!" She sighed. "But I think this is your opportunity to test his interest with you, if he's not then I would gladly support your decision.!"

"A cheers for that!" Xiang give her a toast with their tea cup as the wine was yet to be served because the banquet is just about to start.

"Hope he won't be a coward this time and confessed to me as soon as possible!"

Ye laughed at her desperation."He was probably threatened by the way you look at Ye diànxià.!"

"Surprisingly you two had the same name!"

Xiang commented. Whilst in the other table Tàizǐ diànxià had seen everything that the darn prince did to Ye'er, if they were not in the banquet by now only G.o.d knew what he had done to him.

He clenched his hand and regretted himself for letting her sit next to Xiang, he clearly knew that whenever Ye was near him, he gets easily distructed but who would have thought that he actually give someone else a chance to approach her.
