Wu Chen went up to Yi Fei's apartment with the chocolate he bought. He rang the bell a few times. After a few seconds, he could hear footsteps from inside the house.
The door jerked opened. "Chong NaNa! This is... the seventh times you..." Yi Fei thought that NaNa had forgotten to bring her keys again. She did not manage to finish her sentence because she was surprised to see Wu Chen in front of her house.
"Arghhh…" Yi Fei screamed and slammed the door to Wu Chen's face.
This time around, instead of getting frustrated and disappointed at having the door slammed to his face, Wu Chen was equally shocked as well.
The sight he had seen just now was something he has never seen before.
The sight he saw when the door jerked opened was a rare sight of Yi Fei in her black yoga pant, pink sports bra and she put her hair in a messy bun – revealing her forehead. Yi Fei actually had a curvy physique under all those baggy s.h.i.+rts she wore. Her midriff was exposed as well.
There were beads of sweat on her forehead and her nose. Her cheek was flushed in pink. Her whole face was glowing. This was, by far, the most revealing sight of Yi Fei that he had seen.
Wu Chen gulped when he remembered Yi Fei's panting voice and her slightly parted lips. His body became hot when he imagined how s.e.xy she looked just now.
Wu Chen inhaled and exhaled a deep breath. He was trying to keep himself under control. He told himself that it was not the time to l.u.s.t over a woman. He needed to sort out his priority; he needed to apologize to Yi Fei first.
Rushed footsteps could be heard once again from inside the house. The door opened to reveal Yi Fei bundled up with a thick blanket. She looked like a fluffy human burrito.
"Why are you here? It's not 3 o'clock yet. Also, I can drive myself to your house" Yi Fei tried to be cold to Wu Chen – the culprit who said that she was fat over the phone.
Wu Chen handed her the chocolate and said "Token of apology".
Yi Fei stared at the chocolate with a hateful look.
"For what? So I will get fatter?" There was a hint of distastefulness in her voice.
"Fei Fei, I'm sorry. I don't mean to call you fat. You are not fat. I'm just joking around. Please stop being mad at me" Yi Fei and NaNa always make a pitiful face when they did something wrong to him. This time, Wu Chen put his best pitiful act to gain sympathy from Yi Fei.
After seeing how Yi Fei and NaNa acted around him, he was sure that he had already mastered the art of being pitiful.
Yi Fei had a hard time keeping her mad expression because Wu Chen looked so cute being pitiful and all that. She let out a chuckled before inviting him in.
A triumphant smile could be seen in Wu Chen's face when Yi Fei did not look at him. Yi Fei was not a petty person. She would not hold a grudge against someone who had apologized to her. She took the chocolate from Wu Chen before stuffing it into the refrigerator.
"Are you still dancing just now? Is this your style when you exercise?" Wu Chen pointed from her head to toe.
Upon remembering that her forehead was exposed, Yi Fei hurriedly fixed her fringe with both her hands, causing the blanket to fall off her. The sight that Wu Chen got to see in a glimpse just was now in front of him in high definition.
Wu Chen came to her, took the fallen blanket and covered her body with it. Yi Fei stopped fixing her fringe when she was covered in the blanket.
"Pretend that you did not see how messy I am today" Yi Fei's right hand was trying to fix her fringe and her left hand was trying to keep the blanket together.
"Your forehead is cute. You should show them more instead of covering it with your fringe" Wu Chen helped Yi Fei to fix her messy fringe.
He brushed his fingers along her hairline and stopped near her left ear.
"You should never let other guys see you in this exercise outfit" Wu Chen was greedy. He will not share the things or the person he loved with another guy.
Instead of being fl.u.s.tered or shy, Yi Fei looked at him with a quizzical look.
"Why though?" Yi Fei never had the experience of a guy telling him not to show herself in an exercise outfit. She was truly confused.
"It would be bad for me then…" Wu Chen continued playing with her fringe.
"I don't feel like sharing you with other guys by letting them see how beautiful you are right now" Wu Chen traced the faint scar on her left cheek.
"I will be jealous. I want all of you only for myself" Wu Chen brushed her lips with his thumb. He really wants to kiss her lips.
Yi Fei was taken aback by Wu Chen when he brushed her lips with his thumb. She remembered their moment inside his car. She screamed and ran away to her room. Wu Chen laughed at the fluffy human burrito that was running slowly because of the blanket.
"Take a shower. I'm going to wait for you here and after that, we go to my house to prepare the food for the party" He shouted to Yi Fei.
Wu Chen was all smiling at first but his smile faltered when he heard a locking sound from inside Yi Fei's room.
He couldn't believe it. Yi Fei actually locked the door from inside her room.
Wu Chen became helpless once again. Did he really seem that untrustworthy until Yi Fei was being an extra careful with him?
