The gasps of other aristocrats made his mind snap which ended in another slash. However, this time after his pray had escaped again, Charles felt a faint pain near his abdomen. At the time it didn't alert him, after minutes of trying to hit the raven-haired man his vision blurred, and he felt lightheaded.
While the Warren family's oldest son wobbled like a seal, the guest had managed to disappear unnoticed because of the large ruckus around Charles. The mansion was filled with chaos after they discovered the red flowing liquid running down the hurt Charles' body. Mrs. Warren and Celeste's screams radiated from the now cold looking mansion far in the distance.
Soundless steps had wandered lightly for miles when they reached the entrance of the city of Rik. Rik was known as the capital of the country known as Adelene. A country of destiny, despite this there were more appealing cities. It is beautifully built, the actual trouble where all the illegal firms and such.
The steps stopped in a lone pathway between two large buildings made of stones. A poor s.h.a.ggy looking old man had his head dived into a trashcan filled with expired food from a nearby fast-food restaurant. Still searching for goods, he had a feeling that someone watched him, and not to exaggerate, but he felt confident when it came to his instincts because of his lifestyle. Slowly his s.h.a.ggy clothes wrinkled while he exited the dumpster bin, and then he saw a good looking, but scary man who observed his every move.
"What the h.e.l.l, you almost gave me a heart attack you little punk." The man gulped in fear. The shadow tilted its head slightly only to reveal a warm smile. "There is no need to be afraid, I was only wondering about what you where doing. I will take my leave now." And before the beggar could reply the person had disappeared.

A pair of shoes fell to the ground as the metal door leading into a small apartment got closed cleanly. A big sigh left the individual's mouth as his eyes where placed at a biology book which where located at the messy madras. The room was in the same state as it had been left in before Gabriel's accident.
-I'm glad they haven't touched this apartment since I left. I thought I would never be able to escape that stupid family again- Gabriel thought in relief. unfortunately, or luckily Charles stood his way and it made him annoyed to such an extent that he had stabbed Charles in the abdomen with his nails. Gabriel didn't think he had the ability to hurt his brother who was in cla.s.s B, but then he recalled the deal he had made with the voice without a body.

"I will offer you a deal, but it has a cost" Tigris said tauntingly.
"Then what is the cost?" The question lingered in the air while Gabriel felt his breath become heavier.
"It will cost your humanity" Tigris whispered.
Gabriel looked dumbfounded, what did he just hear. He was desperate, but not that desperate. It took a long time before he asked: "What's the deal"
"I will fasten your development rate when it comes to the system…" Then Tigris continued. "It will make it possible for you to never get looked down on again"
Gabriel felt his thoughts and memories flow through his brain in a matter of seconds, on one side it would be great. However, to lose his humanity could cause multiple negative side effects. Therefor he asked his last question to the charismatic voice.
"Then, what would you say losing humanity complies?"
"Mmm… You're quite the straightforward guy, aren't you? To lose humanity can be defined as losing your most important emotions, but don't worry, you will only lose your emotions and nothing less." The voice said as it wasn't such a big deal to him.
Gabriel stared at the ceiling from where he lied on the rotten madras in the cellar. It was unreal to get such a deal from something/someone he couldn't even see.
"Well, have you made your decision?"
"Well, the only thing I have wanted in life is to live in peace. If I can be left alone and escape all judgement, I would seal the deal in a heartbeat."
"Interesting, let's say it would make all your wishes come true."
Gabriel did suddenly feel a piercing pain shoot down his spine through his nerves onto every single cell in his body. His casts tore from the bones' sudden growth, his facial structure matured, and he appeared like an adolescent. Every injury he had suffered from the accident healed instantly.

It was midnight and Gabriel did observe every inch of his apartment before he threw all his most important belongings into a small marine blue backpack and took on a grey jacked which had turned out to be a bit too small.
There was no time to lose, he knew that even with their grudges they would come to his apartment in search of him after a couple of hours. Since they thought he still was injured and unable to move they would most likely interrogate the people he had contact with, which meant he had gained a bit of extra time.
Gabriel turned around one last time only to throw away his ID and phone to avoid being recognized, then he left the rundown apartment building heading towards the heart of the city…
