"We stand strong with him and the best part is no one knows we have the biggest backer of all. The royal family" this said she took her own pen and signed her name on her own doc.u.ment.
The other members of the board were surprised but after seeing the child of their formal chairman sign the NDA. They all decided to sign theirs, some out of spite, some for the company and some because they wanted to see where the company was heading to.
A week later the CEO's office
Alicia was reviewing some doc.u.ments when her cell phone rang. She picked up the phone eagerly and greeted the old man on the other end of the phone. "Grandpa, how are you?"
"Hai, what a filial granddaughter I have," the old man said feigning annoyance. Alicia laughed at this "I have been too busy with work that is all grandpa" she decided to pacify the old man.
"Humph, busy indeed, are you free tomorrow?" the old man asked. Hearing this Alicia stopped what she was doing. Checking her schedule that was tightly parked the next day, she was only free during her lunch break.
"No, why?" she answered after checking her schedule. "Well, make yourself free, you have to be somewhere tomorrow" the old man retorted. "But grandpa, I... "
"You don't have to worry your lunch break is enough and don't tell me you won't eat. You are skinny enough. I wonder who is going to marry you with no fat in you"
"Fine, Grandpa. Where and what am I doing tomorrow?" Alicia asked resignedly. "Well, now that is a good child" As her Grandpa continued with the details of where she was going she suddenly felt devastated but she also knew she couldn't refuse the old man.
The next day, Alicia went to the restaurant her grandfather had her to go to the day before. On getting there she was escorted into a private room. When she saw her blind date that her grandfather had arranged for her, she was not sure of whether to cry or laugh.
"Hi, the name is Johnson, you must be Alicia, it is a pleasure meeting you" he extended his hand. He did not even give Alicia any leeway to reply or exchange pleasantries.
"I am sure your grandfather has told you about me" Johnson continued after they were seated. Alicia was going to answer when he interrupted her. "Why don't we eat first, I am famished, I already took the liberty of ordering for you, I hope you don't mind"
After they were both done with their meal, Johnson hot down to his order of business. "Well as I said earlier, I believe your grandfather has told you about me, I am 30 this year and I need a wife to bear my legacies, I have..."
As Johnson rambled on Alicia was getting impatient, she needed to be somewhere in less than 30 minutes and this creature sitting in front of her would not stop yapping and she was getting extremely bored.
"Excuse me, are you still here Alicia. I can call you that right. I should not even ask, as my wife I should be able to call you anything I want to call you" Johnson smiled. The smile felt creepy to Alicia and she s.h.i.+vered subconsciously.
"Mr. Johnson right, I appreciate you taking an interest in me and all but forgive me for this, I don't remember agreeing to marry you," Alicia said politely and yet carefully.
"Oh, Alicia you don't have to be so formal, well I do like a woman who is rather submissive, so I believe this is a good way to start. There are just some things that we need to clear before the marriage" Since Alicia knew he wouldn't listen to her she left him to continue his imaginations.
"If and when we do get married, I would like for my wife to not do any work, I just want a housewife who is a perfect representative of me as her husband"
