"Tsuru!" Keme called out to her seeing as she walked faster when hearing him, "Tsuru, stop and listen." When she didn't do either he matched her speed and grabbed her by the waist pulling her up and spinning her around, "I won't drop you until you listen."
She crossed her arms and didn't fight back holding her head up high and refusing to look at him, "I'm not crazy! And you two are out of your mind if you think you'll get me to those mad people doctors. I'm fine!"
"Tsuru!" His tone was firm and anger even laced it, "I never said you're crazy." She looked at him form the corner of her eyes, tilting her head down a bit. He set her down and held her by the shoulders looking down at her, "By therapy, we don't mean you're crazy, times have changes Tsuru. There are doctors that can help you deal with this. Help you regain your memory, see things clearly."
She uncrossed her arms and looked him in the eyes, listening to what he had to say but a scowl still on her face, "Go on."
He smiled at her rea.s.suringly, "I know the perfect person to help you. We just need to take another plane ride, she'll help you, tell you what you need to do. Everything will turn out I promise, I promise you're not crazy..."
Tsuru patted his shoulder, "Alright, I believe you. But if this doesn't work I swear I'll have a grudge about it."
Keme chuckled, "Don't sweat, that bad." He teasingly called her out and pinched her nose out of nowhere. His eyes looking behind her, "Let's go Allon, I explained things."
She looked back at Allon noticing him looking back at her at the same moment, "Thanks, even if I misunderstood."
He grinned at her warmly, "How could you doubt me?"
"Sorry." She sighed and stayed on the path seeing him start to make a scene about it.
"Come on, I'm joking Tsuru." He threw his arm over her shoulders, brus.h.i.+ng his chest against her other arm, "I should have explained."
She knew he meant what he said, but sometimes she couldn't get it through her head that things are different these times. Three hundred years made a big difference and she was just not adapted as well as she thought. Believing she had gotten the hang of things was a big mistake, one she seemed to embarra.s.s herself with, every time she misunderstood.
Tsuru lightly banged her elbow against his chest, "I should have probably waited for an explanation too... let's just forget about it."
Forgetting was something she did better than she thought
Keir sat beside Tsuru having gotten over his hot-tempered moment. Even leaning against her while staring at the garden, seeing everything Tsuru had grown herself. It was magnificent how it all looked, so delicate and perfect, the flowers were the perfect shade they could be, and matching perfectly with those around them.
"You did amazing." He told her brus.h.i.+ng his arm against hers, "You've got a talent."
She blushed hearing him praise and kiss up to her, "It's even better when I've got someone to share it with."
He chuckled having his own blush spread through his cheeks," Tsuru... I love you."
Even her ears burned to hear him say that leaning her head towards him and whispering as lightly as possible, "I love you too." A small giggle left her lips when telling him and she leaned away.
"I want you to live forever, live happy, even without me." He grabbed her hand and kissed her palm, "You're everything to me." Rubbing her hand he looked ahead concentrating on the view again.
Tsuru leaned her head back and rested against him, "I don't think I'd enjoy life without you."
"Sure you would." Keir insisted she raised her hand and slapped his shoulder, "Oh come on Tsuru, everyone forgets the past eventually. It's how we cope with reality. Living forever, it's not all fun and games, when you're alone in eternity."
"STOP! Don't say it, I don't want to hear it. Let's live now, together... I don't want to think about the future." Tsuru leaned back against him and sniffed in the smells around them, how nice it all smelled outside, how sweet the aroma of perfection.
He was quiet along with her, knowing all too well it was best if he didn't say anything. However the cold annoying feelings in the back of his head didn't let him enjoy the moment, "I have to go."
"Why now?" She pouted quivering her lip at him and crossing her arms, looking like she'd throw a temper tantrum.
