Kai was in the sky struggling with his thoughts. He was wondering why on earth would anyone disadvantage them self by breaking their gla.s.ses. Were all humans like this? Surely if this human was to face an enemy his chances of survival would decrease. Kai mind was set to always focus on survival due to the training and his upbringing.

"I don't think breaking his gla.s.ses was a good idea"

"I wonder how he's going to die" said Kai with his hand on his chin.

"It will be my first time seeing someone die in person"

What Kai said may sound odd, but Kai was raised at Mortem Castle. He had only dealt with souls and creatures who were already dead. He hadn't actually seen the process of someone dying before. After all a Grim reaper job is not to kill but to take the soul after it to the correct place.

Jay continued to walk towards the university with a hop and a skip in his walking, he was happier then ever and ready to face anything. While jay was walking he spotted something in the distance.

"What is that?" Jay shouted.

There was an apartment building in front of him, 3 stories up he could see a window open. Inside the window there was a round figure with spikes sticking out the top of it. It was hard for Jay to make out what exactly it was due to him taking off his gla.s.ses.

"Is that what I think it is?"

Jay started to look around to see if anyone could see what he was seeing right now. Jay started shouting at the people around him.

"Someone help there is a baby falling out of the window!"

A couple walked pa.s.sed and looked up at the window and chose to ignore it.

"Wait" Jay said.

The man wanted to intervene when his partner stopped him.

"Just leave him be, kids these days take all sorts of things" the women said to her partner.

Jay started to doubt himself weather he could actually see a baby or not, after all everything appeared blurry to him.

"Why isn't anyone doing anything to help" Jay said.

Jay had made up his mind whether it was a baby or not he decided that he was going to change and he would regret his decision if it was a baby.

"I said I was going to change, and I'm going to start by saving that baby's life."

Kai decided to touch down onto the ground to get a closer look, he found humans and everything happening quite entertaining. As he touched down onto the ground a car was steadily approaching towards him. The car simply pa.s.sed right through Kai's body, as if nothing was there like a Ghost. In fact, right now kai's body was more like a ghost. No one around was able to see him and he was able to float and pa.s.s through objects as he pleased. Grim reapers don't possess a body that can be used in the human world but there energy can still effect it. If Kai wanted to, he could store up his energy into his sword and split the car into two pieces. From the outside it would look like the car simply tore apart. Of course there are rules set by his father and others that don't allow him to do that, as well as something about running the balance of the natural world.

"A vehicle pa.s.sing through me does not feel like the best thing in the world" Kai mumbled.

Jay had found a nearby tree that was fairly close to the building. He decided to climb up the tree to try save the baby.

"Just hang in there little guy!" Jay said as he pulled himself up the tree.
