" Thank you Your Highness ! " said Kiara a bit nervous .

Eskylrious looked at Kiara and noticed that she wasn't sad . A normal person would be shedding tears in this kind of situation . The anger in her eyes a while ago showed how much desire she had to revenge her family .

' Even I couldn't calm her down when she was in that state . How come my powers don't work on her ?! I need to look into this . ' thought Eskylrious then noticed a shy smile on Kiara's face .

He didn't need to use his powers to understand that the person she was thinking of right now was the guy that appeared a while ago .

' That guy seems to have a lot of influence on her . His presence is even more powerful than my powers ! ' thought Eskylrious irritated to the core .

" You're lessons for tomorrow will be cancelled since you two are hurt ! You need to rest ! " said Eskylrious with a cold tone .

" That's not a problem at all ! I am quite strong , I told you that my body heals quick so I will be fine tomorrow . " said Kiara with a smile .

' Liam just came and he will attend the lessons too . It has been so long since the last time we have seen each other . I can't miss ! ' thought Kiara .

' My powers may not work on her but I can still read her mind . Is that guy more important than your heath to you ?! Stupid girl ! ' thought Eskylrious .

" Not allowed ! " said Eskylrious a bit angry .

" Why ?! I told you , I am fine ! " said Kiara in a serious tone .

" Do you wish to collapse during the compet.i.tion ?! Do you wish to let your enemy win ?! " said Eskylrious with a serious expression while pointing at Justin who was laying on the bed unconscious .

Kiara felt a stabbing pain in her heart when he said so . The weak look of Justin's face made her reflect on the words Eskylrious just said . Liam was important to her but now , her family needed her , her brother needed her , herself needed her to be focused and unwavering .

" You're right Your Highness ! I need to recover soon so that my family won't ever encounter such a situation again . Thank you for your words ! " said Kiara .

" Well , at least your resonating a bit . " said Eskylrious and noticed that Kiara suddenly became sad and kept looking at her brother .

" No need to worry so much about him . He will be fine tomorrow . I have called for the personal doctor of the royal family to come and visit him . He is a bit weird but his medicines are one of a kind and very effective . " said Eskylrious and looked at Kiara who showed a little smile while looking towards her brother .

" But the doctor that came a while ago said.. " said Kiara a bit surprised .

" This one is our family's private doctor . He cannot stay like that for three days now that the compet.i.tion is approaching . " said Eskylrious and Kiara nodded .

' Am I really a bad luck to this family ?! Because of the hate they have towards me , my brother ended up like this . My mom was mistreated even more when she protected me . ' thought Kiara .

Before Eskylrious spoke again the door knocked . It was the royal doctor .

" Greetings Your Highness ! I came as soon as I could ! Where are you hurt ? " asked the royal doctor in a hurry to open the medical box he had with him . He went near the prince and started to check his arms , back , front and legs .

" Are you blind doctor Gilbert ?! Can't you see the patients laying on the bed ?! " asked Eskylrious a bit annoyed by him .

" Sir , I only take care of the royal family , no one else . " said doctor Gilbert .

" I am ordering you to check up on them and make sure they're fine tomorrow . " said Eskylrious .

" But , Your Highness..."

" Gilbert , who gave you the guts to go against me ! Huh ! " said Eskylrious with a threatening expression which turned the doctor's skin even paler than it already was .

" I....I...wouldn't dare Your Highness ! " said the doctor and started to close the medical box .

" Why are you closing the medical box ? " asked Kiara .

" Ehmm....these...these are His Highness painkillers when he gets wounded . I thought he was training and that's why I took this box but you two have a different problem and I need to go get the right medicine . " said doctor Gilbert in a troubled tone .

The box he was carrying now , held medicine for vampires and not humans . Eskylrious understood it and the doctor bowed then leaved the room .

" You were right about him , he's a bit weird . " said Kiara who couldn't tell the difference between the medicine he was carrying and the medicine he should have took with him .

" Don't mind him much ! Now get a good rest , I need to go and meet with my grandfather . " said Eskylrious .

He walked near the door and before going out he spoke again .

" Once this is compet.i.tion is over , we will deal with this issue . I won't let it slip easily ! " said Eskylrious in a serious tone .

" May I ask you something ? " said Kiara and Eskylrious turned his face towards her .

" Why are you suddenly so kind to me ? " asked Kiara a bit surprised by his reaction towards this incident .

" I am telling you before hand . I don't like you but I have a responsibility to return you a favor that I owe you . Your main purpose in life is to help your family live better and happily . You love them dearly . We are alike in this aspect , you and I both care a lot about our loved ones . People like this are hard to find nowadays . " said Eskylrious with a smirk .

" I don't like you either . I am a bit curious though.....What favor have I done to you ? " said Kiara who wasn't understanding what Eskylrious was saying and what favor she did to him .

" Seriously , you had good grades when we were at the school in your hometown and now your IQ has decreased so rapidly . I wonder how did you get those kind of grades while being so silly ! " said Eskylrious with a grin .

' He's nowhere near as cute and funny as her . Are these two really blood related ?! ' thought Kiara shocked by how different they were .

Iris was a nice , cute and funny girl while Eskylrious was an arrogant , self centered and grumpy boy .

" Why are you looking at me like that ? " asked Eskylrious when he saw Kiara staring at him for a while .

" Are you two born from different mothers ? " asked Kiara who was seriously thinking about how they were connected with each other .

" We have the same mother ! " said Eskylrious annoyed at her idiotic thought .

" Iris is a cheerful girl , you on the contrary.....only have good looks ! You two have really different personalities and you're siblings ! Impressive ! " said Kiara .

" I will get going now ! " said Eskylrious and left closing the door with force .

' I better go and take care of the serious matters otherwise my EQ will drop to her level if I continue to argue. ' thought Eskylrious .
