A Warrior's Path 27 Chapter 27. Meeting Naruto

s.h.i.+sui knew what happened last night. He truly wanted to be at his friend's side. s.h.i.+sui couldn't even begin to imagine the pain Itachi went through but he could not help him.

A few days went by, during these days the entire Uchiha compound was sealed and every Uchiha was given a proper funeral. Ryu went to Danzo's hideout and just as he thought he had implanted s.h.i.+sui's right eye.

Ryu thought ' I wonder how long it will be until he realises that the eye is useless. Must be a spectacle to watch as he finds out.'

He went about his way. It will be years before the story starts, he intends to live in the village until it begins. Just as he was about to turn a corner he smelt something good. He followed the smell and got to a small shop with a few seats. The sign on the shop said ' Ichiraku Ramen '.

' So this is Ichiraku Ramen. I never had a chance to come here '. Ryu went in and took a seat. He looked through the menu before ordering a large serving of ramen. Teuchi was surprised when he saw a boy with red hair come inside his shop. He got a good idea about who the boy is after all rumours do travel faster than wild fire.

Teuchi started preparing the ramen. Ryu was waiting when he smelled an aroma. This caused his mouth to water. Ryu was a lover of good food. He knew that Ichiraku Ramen was good but he never tried it before so he didn't crave it. As he smelled the fragrance he cursed himself for missing out on all those meals.

Teuchi brought a large bowl of hot ramen and placed it infront of him. Ryu with blinding speed took the chopsticks and dug in. As the food entered his mouth he felt as if he was in heaven

' d.a.m.n this is good '.

He kept on going till he heard someone come in

' Teuchi san one large bowl of the usual '

Hearing the voice Ryu turned to look the newcomer. It was a boy a few years younger than Ryu. He had yellow hair with three whisker marks on his each cheek. His eyes were like blue sapphires. This was Naruto.

Ryu was not surprised seeing him here. Growing up, this was the only place that welcomed Naruto. Teuchi was a kind man, he only saw a lonely child in Naruto, never a demon. Naruto on the other hand looked at Ryu's red hair before snapping back. Teuchi added a bit more to Naruto's bowl and placed it in front of him.

Naruto started eating with bliss. It seems he truly loved it, I mean who wouldn't it's so d.a.m.n f**king good. Naruto and Ryu finished at the same time. Ryu ordered another serving. Naruto checked his pockets to see if he had more money but sadly he didn't. With a sad face he was about to leave when Ryu said

' Give a bowl to him too '.

Naruto stared for a moment before asking: Are you talking about me?

Ryu: I don't see anyone else.

Naruto's eyes were moist. He was always chased away, scorned and hated by everyone in the village except the old man, teuchi san and his daughter. He was really happy that someone other than these three people talked to him and even bought him a bowl of ramen.

Naruto: Thank you. My name is Naruto Uzumaki.

Ryu: Ryu Uzumaki.

Naruto stared as he heard his last name.

Naruto: You..you have the same family name as mine. Are we fa..fam..

Naruto was scared to ask that question. He had never known what it is like to have a family. Even in the academy he always watches other kids leaving with their mom's and Dad's. Now here infront of him was someone with the same family name. Naruto was scared that this person would also hate him if he asked that question.

Ryu saw the hope and fear in Naruto's eyes. He sighed inside his mind. How much of loneliness did he go through. Ryu turned to face Naruto and said

' Yes Naruto. We are family '.

Naruto wept at his reply. 'I am not alone'. Ryu got up from his seat and patted Naruto's head. He pitied the kid. To lose his parents at a young age and be hated by the villagers for just being a Jinchuriki. Naruto suddenly hugged him. Ryu didn't dodge and let him be. Teuchi looked at this scene and smiled. He knew Naruto for a while now, he has also seen how the villagers treated him so he was happy that Naruto finally had someone to call family.

After crying for a while Naruto calmed down. His eyes were swollen from all that crying.

Ryu: Let's finish our meal. After that I will take you to a place.

Naruto nodded and sat down. His speed was still astounding. Ryu also digged in. In matter of minutes another bowl was finished. He paid for the both of them. As they went out Naruto asked

' Where are we going '.

Ryu: We going to my house of course. Don't you want to meet the rest of my family.

Naruto was happy to hear that but soon started worrying if they will like him. Ryu seeing this smiled. He somehow liked seeing Naruto worrying over nothing. Very soon they reached the Uzumaki household. Ryu went in but Naruto stayed where he stood. Ryu turned back and said

' Don't worry. In my house there will be no one who will hate you '

Naruto finally mustered all the courage he could and went inside. Akane was preparing dinner when she heard the door close, she peeked out of the kitchen to find Ryu coming in with another kid. This kid was something, he had yellow hair and whisker marks on both his cheeks. His eyes were so pure just like a blue sapphire.

Ryu: Mom this is Naruto Uzumaki.

Akane knew who naruto was but she didn't care one bit. She put down what she was doing and went towards Naruto. She rubbed his head and said

' Welcome to our home, Naruto '.
