A Warrior's Path 24 Chapter 24. Uchiha Shisui

Six years have already pa.s.sed. In these six years nothing major happened. Ryu got into ninja academy and was hailed as a Genius like Minato. His parents were proud of him. Another thing worth mentioning is that, like in the story the Uchiha's are now disgusted and hated by the village.

According to the timeline within a couple of months will be the Uchiha ma.s.sacre. Ryu don't care about the Uchiha's. They look down upon everyone because of their bloodline. This can be seen from Sasuke. The kid had his nose up so high in the Anime but not all of them are rotten. It is a miracle to see anyone kind emerging from that clan yet there is two of them. Itachi Uchiha and s.h.i.+sui Uchiha.

Ryu only cares about these two as they are kind and longs for peace. The Uchiha's need to rise from its ashes. For that, the ma.s.sacre must happen. Their bloodline will continue through Itachi, s.h.i.+sui and Sasuke. Their descendants won't be like their predecessors, they will grow up knowing humility.

Ryu went around the village. This is first time he is walking these streets in person. As he was walking he found someone among the crowd. The person he was looking at was a good-looking man with short hair and a leaf headband. He wore the leaf standard ninja outfit. As if sensing someone looking at him. The man turned around. Ryu knew who this was

' s.h.i.+sui Uchiha '

Seeing Ryu look at him s.h.i.+sui was surprised at first due to his hair colour and his stunning looks. He then remembered the Uzumakis living within the village. s.h.i.+sui smiled at him and went his way. Ryu sensed s.h.i.+sui's chakra, it was so calm and soothing.

Ryu didn't want to let the chance slip by. He went after him. s.h.i.+sui sensed the kid following him. He went towards a park and sat there for the kid to arrive. Ryu went towards s.h.i.+sui like a normal kid would otherwise s.h.i.+sui would die of heart attack seeing his speed.

s.h.i.+sui smiled and asked : Why are you following me?

Ryu: Your Chakra. I can sense chakra. Your Chakra is calm and soothing, so I know you are a good person and wanted to meet you.

s.h.i.+sui was surprised at Ryu's answer. He liked the kid just from his speech alone. ' With his looks he will be a lady killer in the future for sure'.

s.h.i.+sui: I see. My name is s.h.i.+sui Uchiha. What's yours?

Ryu: Ryu Uzumaki.

s.h.i.+sui: Ryu, this is my day off. I am gonna meet my friend. Wanna come along?

Ryu: Yes, I would love to.

s.h.i.+sui: Great. let's go.

Ryu and s.h.i.+sui walked towards their gathering point. Along the way Ryu and s.h.i.+sui became good friends. To s.h.i.+sui it's hard to find someone who is kind and honest in his clan apart from his friend. Both of them walked till they reached a shop. s.h.i.+sui waved his hands to a boy clad in light black clothes with slightly long hair and tear marks on his face, this was Itachi Uchiha.

s.h.i.+sui: Ryu, meet my best friend. Itachi Uchiha.

Itachi smiled and held his hand infront of me. I shook his hand and said: Nice to meet you. My name is Ryu Uzumaki.

Itachi: I know. You are kinda famous. Hailed as a Genius that may even surpa.s.s the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze. Also you are famous for your good looks.

Ryu was embarra.s.sed hearing these. In the academy he did his best to obtain the highest score to make his parents proud. This lead to many hoping him to become someone like the Hokage. He spent the rest of the day talking to the both of them. They truly are good people. When it got late Ryu said goodbye and went his way.

When they were talking Ryu had marked both Itachi and s.h.i.+sui with his Hirais.h.i.+n seal. They won't be able to sense it or see it, After all Ryu has mastered all the seals he got from his bloodline inheritance. Ryu had to be prepared at all times since he don't know the exact time of s.h.i.+sui's death. As for Itachi, well Ryu needed to keep tabs on his movements after he leaves the village.

Soon two months went by, the Uchiha's were preparing for a coupé to instill terror onto the villagers for their disrespect and take control of the village. One day while Ryu was having dinner with his family he sensed s.h.i.+sui's chakra becoming chaotic and his life force decrease. Ryu understood that danzo must have attacked s.h.i.+sui and succeeded in obtaining his right eye. Ryu quickly finished his meal and went to his room. As soon as he closed the door he vanished.

Ryu appeared near Naka river and waited. After a while s.h.i.+sui and Itachi appeared near the cliff. s.h.i.+sui told Itachi about all that happened and that he was weak to change anything. He entrusted his other eye to Itachi and told him to protect the village before jumping off the cliff to his death.

Itachi watched his best friend sacrifice himself and was anguished. The sight of his best friend's death brought unbearable agony to Itachi, his eyes changed from black to red with one tomoe then two..three it kept on rotating until it changed to a red pupil with a black pinwheel design. Itachi cried holding onto his eyes. This new power didn't bring Itachi any joy, all he could remember was his friends smile before his death.

He regained his calmness while a resolve never seen before appeared on his face. He looked towards where his friend last stood and left. Itachi didn't notice a person following s.h.i.+sui's body and used his water elemental chakra to cover s.h.i.+sui's body. After gaining some distance he pulled s.h.i.+sui out of the river and sent his chakra into s.h.i.+sui's body.

The moment Ryu sent his chakra to s.h.i.+sui's body the surrounding area became dense with Yang energy. s.h.i.+sui's body was being healed at a tremendous rate. All his injuries were healed but the Yang energy remained. It was concentrated on his eyes. Even after a while the Yang energy still remained.

Ryu was confused at what was happening so he asked navii

Navii: Master's wish for s.h.i.+sui was an ability to completely heal his injuries once and the conditions were a pure heart and a second before death. The conditions were there to ensure his character after all nothing's set in stone. As for healing his injuries, it also include his eyes as well which naturally includes the curse of the Uchiha's 'The blindness due to over usage of mangekyo Sharingan '. Right now s.h.i.+sui's injury in his eyes are being healed along with the curse which caused a mutation. Since his eyes are no longer there they are being created from nothing mutating his sharingan kekkai Genkai.

Ryu was dumbfounded at this and couldn't wait to see what the mutation will be like.
