A Warrior's Path 15 Chapter 15. Suna Shivers!!

Ryu kept his calm as they swarmed him. He easily dodged all the attacks thrown at him. He kept on dodging their attacks and after gaining some distance, he stopped to look at the crowd of ninja's before saying

' Hey guys, you should calm down. I told you I only wanna battle the Kazekage. If any of you attack me again. I will kill you. '

After he said that the surrounding became heavy, every Suna ninja could feel the hand of death around their necks. The Jounin commander was full of sweat. He cursed ' where did this lunatic come from'. He had no other choice but to order ' Retreat '.

After retreating he commanded them to be prepared to attack using long range Jutsus if the intruder makes any movement.

Ryu waited for the Kazekage to appear. After a couple of seconds a man came into his view. This man had a rough face and a rather good physique. He came and stood at a distance from Ryu.

Rasa: Who are you?What's your purpose here?

Ryu was a bit annoyed at the question as he literally announced to the entire village he came to fight the Kazekage. He told Rasa

' My name is Drake. I came to fight you '

Rasa: Are you after the reward in the bingo book?

Ryu: Don't be mistaken. I simply came to have a good battle. After all, kage's are strong.

Rasa was infuriated hearing this. Someone came to his village saying he wants a battle. Isn't he looking down on his village.

Rasa: Since you came to battle then you can rest here for eternity.

After saying this Rasa ordered his ninjas to surround Ryu. Ryu felt his legs sink into sand.

Wind style: vacc.u.me bullets

Rasa took the opportunity when ryu's legs sinked into the sand to fire a Jutsu.

Ryu made a few hand signs ' earth style : Mud wall '. The air bullets striked the the wall and produced a cloud of dust.

Rasa was alert for any possible attacks. He heard the sound of birds chirping from his back and dodged but still got hit on his arm. Rasa looked towards him arm saw b.l.o.o.d.y hole on his arm.

' What the heck was that Jutsu '

Ryu: Is that all you can do Kazekage. Be serious as you may die.

Rasa's expression was dignified. He didn't expect his opponent to be this strong. He got serious and put his hand on the ground. The sands colour changed from where he touched and turned gold. Ryu knew this was the Kazekage's kekkai genkai. Rasa manipulated the gold sand and attacked Ryu.

Seeing the incoming attack Ryu didn't dodge instead he pulled his arm towards his gut. His arms was fully covered by wind chakra, he gathered his strength and punched the incoming gold sand.

A loud Blast occurred and anyone below a special Jounin was blasted away. Rasa was dumbfounded at this. ' He just stopped my attack with a single punch '.

The dust slowly cleared showing a figure. Ryu stood there with his right arm in front of him. His arm was sliced at several points. As he looked at his injured arm Ryu felt nothing but excitement. Even though he could beat Rasa easily, with the help of the seal his abilities can be limited to any point he likes.

Ryu looked at Rasa and said: Let's dance!!

Ryu went towards Rasa at blinding speed. Rasa manipulated the gold sand to attack Ryu. Ryu kept on dodging them. Sometime when the sand was close to hitting him he deflects it's trajectory by using the same tachnique he used to blast Rasa's first attack.

Rasa watched as Ryu closed in on him. He used the sand to cover him completely and used the third eye technique which makes an eye made of sand to observe outside. Ryu saw this but didn't mind.

Rasa continued to manipulate the sand. Ryu suddenly emitted Lightning chakra around his body and disappeared. He appeared right before the gold dust dome covering Rasa and fired a water style jutsu. ' water style: exploding water shock wave. '

Huge tides of water collided with the sand dome. Everything including the gold dust and surrounding ninjas were swept away. Rasa emerged from the water and looked at Ryu with an ugly expression.

Even though his gold sand is stronger than ordinary sand it is also heavier than sand as well. As of right now all the gold sand he created is soaked and much heavier. This will take twice the chakra needed for control moreover he has already exhausted almost all his chakra trying to withstand the last attack.

Ryu was happy. Limiting himself to a special Jounin level and fighting a kage is only possible because of his perfect control over his chakra. Rasa was the weakest among the kages. Even if he is only at special Jounin level, if he gets slightly serious Rasa will die. But this was an exciting battle. The opponents in the future will be even stronger.

Rasa thought Ryu stood there because he was running low on chakra and slowly recovering. He grinned : You must have exhausted your chakra fighting me. How will you escape?

Ryu looked at Rasa as he would to an idiot. Rasa saw his expression and was further enraged. He ordered : capture him!!

The ninjas surrounded Ryu while taking out kunais. Ryu was amused seeing this. Suddenly he laughed and released his seal completely. Ryu's body emitted a terrifying amout of chakra comparable to a tailed beast.

Rasa was horrified sensing the amount of chakra the man released. ' So he was toying with me '. Some of the ninjas surrounding Ryu pa.s.sed out sensing the chakra while the others lost their will to fight and slumped down.

Ryu took back his chakra and disappeared from where he stood leaving the paralysed Sand s.h.i.+n.o.bi's.
