Skylar looked at Reign weirdly, she was surprised that he had stood up for.

Everyone-one's attention deferred when they saw Lola emerge, she was skipping. As if sensing the atmosphere she stopped and walked over to Skylar and Mateo.

"Is it me or is it tense up in here?"

"What happened?" Lola asked in a low tone, whilst a.s.sessing everyone that was there.

"Let's just say that Reign and Karly are exchanging not so nice words between each other."

"I think Reign is defending me."

"Before Mateo arrived, Jessie was about to confront me. Then Karly came and now this is happening."

Skylar tensed when she saw Karly's minions emerging from the puzzle. They both dashed to Karly's side, who looked vivid. It seemed as if she and Reign were having a staring compet.i.tion amongst themselves.

Karly whispered to them, and when she was done they had shocked looks on their faces.

"How dare you call her that!"

"What gives you the right Reign?'

"What gives her the right to always bother Skylar?" Reign replied in a calm tone.

"Since when are you on this witch's side?" Karly retorted.

"Always, I can't stand the thought of losing her."

"So you didn't stop liking her when you said we would both stop." Jessie got in.

Skylar was trying to process everything but all she was left with was confusion and more questions. Her brains were working overtime. So had Reign and Jessie done a pact to not like her,

"I hope you can explain everything later on to me," Lola whispered in her ear, she seemed to be enjoying the drama that was unfolding in front of her.

"Me too, I'm lost." Mateo chimed in.

"You knew I liked her Reign."

"What am I supposed to do Jessie, I tried but I can't stay away from her anymore,"

"Do you think it was easy for me to let her go."

"Jessie."

"Typical Reign gets the girl and dumps her when a new s.h.i.+ny toy comes along."

Skylar's eyes widened at Jessie's words, she didn't want to be another girl in Reigns long list.

"Can we focus on the puzzle!"

The words had slipped out of Skylar's mouth before she could control them. Everyone stopped and turned to her. She walked over to the puzzle and started to read what she had to do, Mateo and Lola came to her side.

"That's a great idea," Mateo added.

Everyone started to bring in their puzzle pieces and Skylar focused hard so that she could finish and be done with.

Everyone worked in silence, and the tension could be felt. Skylar was trying to focus but her mind kept on thinking about what Reign had said and then Jessie's words would come and slice her.

She felt heavy and full, she didn't make eye contact with neither of them. She could feel Karly's cold stare and did her best to ignore it.

When they finished a.s.sembling the puzzle, they rang the bell and were led out. Skylar and Lola made their way to their cabin, she was relieved. When she got to their cabin, Lola turned to her with expecting eyes.

When Skylar was done explaining to Lola what had happened, her eyes were wide.

"What are you going to do?"

"Nothing, Lola."

"Why? Arent you happy that you found out how Reign truly feels about you?"

"Not really."

"Why?"

"After Jessie's words, I can never look at Reign the same way. I don't want to break my heart and end up like being Karly."
