She's My Girl 33 Chapter Sunday Morning Rain Is Pouring.

It was a rainy Sunday morning. Carah and Lexie are busy in the kitchen baking their favorite chocolate cake. She promise her daughter if the rain stop they are going to the theme park. But it seems that it continue to drizzle. so they decided to stay at home and bake, Sunday is the bonding time for both if them.

Carah remembered a long time ago she and Zander's bonding time is Sunday also. He stayed at home when she's free from school, he does his work on his laptop while she keeps him company on his study, most of the time they get lovey dovey and end up in their bedroom making love .

Life was easy then, she never thought that they ended up this way hating each other.

As she glance at her daughter she can't help but see the features of Zander specially the strong straight nose and the way her brows creases when she concentrate on what she's doing. of course, most of her features she inherited from her mother, her well curved brows, the impressive big brown eyes with long curled eye lashes her dimples when she smiled and the cherry lips shows a promise of a future beauty.

Carah wondered if things were different if they were not separated from Zander, he must be very proud if their daughter, and he would be able to watch their baby grow to a very pretty girl, but she cannot disregard the fact that things can never be changed. She sigh, which didn't escape her mother. "something wrong dear?"

"Nothing Mom just wisful thinking." she answered and focus on what they are doing. Her mother gave her a knowing smile.

On the same time Zander is standing by the window at his house, watching the rain pouring, feeling lonely listening to song of the band Maroon 5.

Across the sea Steve and Stella are having a discussion.

"I feel so ashamed of how I treated that girl the last time we met. Do you think she can forgive me honey?"

"If judging by the way her father describe her, I think it will take time but she is a good person, I think sh.e.l.l understand." her husband said

Stella remembered how she throw Carah of their house when she thought that she had cheated Zander. She felt guilty of the physical injuries she inflicted on the girl. Before that incident she had liked Carah because she looked and act as a proper woman, a little bit jealous if the attention her son gave to his wife, but she can see the glow of the love they had for each other.

When she learned that Carah cheated on her son, she forgot to listen to reason and treated the matter irrationally as she was a victim too of being cheated on.

"Is everything ready for our trip ?" she asked her husband.

" Just wrapping up the negotiations on this latest report so that I can a.s.sign capable people to fill the vacancies left after the reshuffle. Zander didn't left any stone unturned in handling the traitors of the company. " Steve looked at the report in his laptop. He never realized that the network of deceit that Jaime Chen build up reached this far. he really intend to stripped everything from his nephew. It was just a good thing they were discovered before the process became irreversible.
