“Who’s there?” Jun Yeyan stared at the door with his cold phoenix eyes, saying with a n.o.ble aura.

“Master, it’s me.” Zhao’s deep voice came from the door.

Zhao despised and criticized Mumian silently in his mind that he would not be un-thoughtful as Mumian who just broke into the room bluntly and sabotaged master’s love affair with Bai Aoxue. He entered the room with stable steps.

Jun Yeyan didn’t say anything to Bai Aoxue when he heard the voice of Zhao, but gently dragged the quilt.

“I have arranged them to settle down in the mansion,” Zhao answered calmly.

Bai Aoxue nodded, “Bring them to me in the yard after a while.”

Zhao nodded and respectfully stepped back to one side.

But Jun Yeyan didn’t move, and he looked at Bai Aoxue sullenly.

Bai Aoxue thought it was funny seeing Jun Yeyan to be sullen. “Let’s go, if you don’t want Cangsheng to come straight here.”

Jun Yeyan hugged himself with delight over the words of Bai Aoxue. But his complexion was a poker face, “After taking your medicine, the toxin is under control, and the internal energy is in a good order.”

Bai Aoxue felt a little bit relieved, but she seriously said, “When we come back in a while, I’ll measure your pulse again. After Cangsheng leaves, we will go to the secret chamber.”

“Eunuch, please come in. His Highness wants to see you.” Bai Aoxue recognized the voice, which belonged to the steward of the mansion, Zhaoye, who was like a fox.

“Thank you.” It was Cangsheng’s soft voice, neither humble nor arrogant.

The sound of opening the door followed, and then the sound of steps.

The moment Cangsheng entered the room he saw Bai Aoxue was looking at him with a smiling face. She was pale, but her lips lifted.

Cangsheng felt sorry for Bai Aoxue, who was so pet.i.te, but had to bear much more misfortune than ordinary people.

“Your Excellency prince and princess,” Cangsheng paid his respects respectfully.

Jun Yeyan observed Cangsheng with his phoenix eyes, and said, “Stand up. What are you doing here?”

It seemed that Cangsheng didn’t realize the hostility in Jun Yeyan’s words. The three kids, Mo Li, Mo Shang and Mo Qing, were so worried about Bai Aoxue when they heard that she was hurt, and they wait uneasily outside the door.

Bai Aoxue said, “Send them in.”

Bai Aoxue felt confused when she noticed that Cangsheng was little wired, and she wanted to ask why, but Cangsheng walked towards Mo Shang very slowly.

Bai Aoxue could not help to ask, “What’s wrong, Cangsheng?”

Cangsheng raised his head abruptly when he heard the voice of Bai Aoxue, which seemed like the last straw of hope.

But he didn’t notice that the complexions of the three kids had changed all of a sudden.

Mo Shang tried his best to hold his tears and wouldn’t answer.

“Cangsheng, what’s wrong with the jade pendant? Why are you asking such urgently?” Bai Aoxue asked.

Cangsheng suddenly came to his sense when he heard the voice of Bai Aoxue. How blunt he was to be so overreacted!

“Well, nothing. I just happened to see a jade pendant same as this one before.” Cangsheng embarra.s.sedly covered up, but his eyes were still staring at the jade pendant.
