Chapter 7: Red Feather Pirates (Part Four)

"Sir Dylan!"

The man crouching atop the four-story building heard a voice below. He saw that it was one of his subordinates in the G4 squad; the one who led the infiltration, and the one who Dylan is speaking to earlier. He is the one waving his hands to catch Dylan's attention, in response, Dylan looked at him with an expression in need for a report.

Dan, the one waving at Dylan saw his leader looked at him. Knowing what to do, he saluted and reported what has happened.

"Sir! We have captured 5 more pirates on the fourth floor. The rest has rappeled down this pseudo rope and headed for the main street through this alley. I also saw them carrying someone with them who seems to be their target."

Dylan listened to the report while watching some of the pirates running through the alley. His speculations were right, the pirates are here for the abduction of someone.

"Dan!" "Yes, Sir!?" His subordinate replied instantaneously.

"Point the direction of the main street!"

Without further ado, Dan quickly raised his hands and pointed south.

"The main street is located south from here, it is connected to the Con's road and headed towards the harbor."

After hearing the information Dylan jumped with all his might towards the pointed direction. Dan was not able to react fast and only sighed, hoping for their leader to miraculously b.u.mp with the pirates.

"G4! let us regroup!"

Outside, Dylan is jumping from roof to roof as he heads the direction pointed earlier. With a great jump, he managed to cross a wide street easily. He looked back and was astonished by himself, proud of what he had achieved.

Unknowingly, due to his dumbness with navigation, he didn't know that he already pa.s.sed the main street which was the wide street he crossed earlier. But without caring he jumped with all his might as he heads to his imaginary destination.

Meanwhile, a large hooded wagon is parked at the Main street near a certain alley. It is where the pirates will meet up before heading towards the harbor.

"Is it just me or there is a man just jumped over the whole street?"

"Huh? are you drunk?" "Hey, hurry and get into the wagon or the boss will get mad!"

All of the pirates who managed to escape from the G4 squad can be seen getting into the wagon. With them, a man clothed in a cloak can be seen carrying someone also clothed in a cloak. He is the same man who betrayed his team earlier. His name is Rene and on his is the lady, the purpose why are the pirates here in the city.

"Is the girl caught?"

As a reply to the question, Rene lifted the girl in his hands to show her to them. One of the pirates approached him and took the girl from him. He willingly gave the girl and looked at their leader and said, "I have done what you have asked, please do not renege on the promise. Please release my family."

The pirates heard him and burst into laughter which made Rene confused. The pirates immediately held their guns, pointing at him.

"Do you really think that your family is still alive?"

The one who asked is the leader of the pirates, Lusha of the Red Feather. He is clad in a white coat, which covers his tall stature. On his head is a Cappello with a Red Gull's feather mounted on top; it is the signature symbol of their group and the reason why they are named Red Feather Pirates.

"Huh? Please do not joke around. I want to see them."

The pirates burst into more laughter as the heard him and his doubtful tone.

"Am I joking around." It was Lusha's voice. The pirates looked at their leader and waiting for his authorization. Lusha smiled widely with expectant eyes as his response.

Hearing Lusha's question stunned Rene. His eyes immediately turned bloodshot. Series of thoughts flashed through his mind. He remembered his wife and daughter, their smiles and voices. He can't believe that he has been duped. More worst he had just betrayed his most trusted teammates in vain.

"YOUUU!!! What have you done to my family!?"

The pirates just sneered and did not reply. One by one they opened fire and shot him. He was not able to dodge, every limb he has where mangled by the shots. He was not even able to cry because of pain and died with his eyes closed.

It is his misfortune to get involved with these bloodthirsty pirates.

Their leader turned around and entered the wagon before them and departed. The people of the Main street looked at what happened and was struck by the horror of what they saw. There a the alley is painted by the blood of a sole person who lays on the ground with his body incomplete.

This is the true face of the Red Feather Pirates. They only moved secretly due to a mission but never will their ruthlessness be hidden from eyes of the people.

Inside a certain wagon where the pirates are seated, their faces wore a savage smile and thirsty eyes. They are currently cleaning each of their guns as they wipe the blood on them.

Lusha spoke, "Do not go to the Harbor, the Navy is expecting us. Change course to plan B."

Immediately the Coachmen made the horse turn and the carriage with it.
