"Captain! There is a smoke rising 3 blocks from here!"
"Smoke? Is it not coincidental?"
"No, It was dyed in red and looked very suspicious. I think a third party is involved!"
The captain, Lusha frowned as their operation had been very secretive. They did not even sail there s.h.i.+p and it is still on its way here.
He pondered for some moments, and he commanded.
"Secure the perimeter! Do not let anyone get in our way! Are there any status about the targets?"
"Sir, they are still resisting. The whole third floor of the building turned into a war zone. They are still holding their fort but they can only defend because there is no way for escape- "
"CAPTAIN! The Navies are here!"

In the building, the targets can be identified by their hooded cloak. They had swords and some guns but very limited ammo. Some of them are injured due to the ongoing fight.
There are only 7 of them left. One of them who seems to be the strongest turned around. He is already injured with 3 deep wounds, 2 from which came from gunshots.
He looked at the one behind him. Under the hood is a face of a young woman no less than 18 years of age. She is the one they are are protecting and the very target of the Pirates.
"Miss, you have to go!"
"No! I won't leave any of you!" the girl quickly declined.
The man sighed, he knows how this miss can be very stubborn. Surely she won't accept any discussions. He quickly s.h.i.+fted his sight to the one on the opposite side of the room and said, "Rifter! Take the young miss and escape!"
The one being commanded knew that they don't have any means to survive anymore. Three of them are injured, and it is only a matter of time until the enemies get them. They don't have the power to defend for long.
He quickly replied, "Yes, Sir! Lady please- "
Bang! Bang!
After the loud gunshots he quickly looked at what happened, he saw the leader shot in his chest twice and fell on his knees.
"Escape… fast! Bring... the… Miss to…. Safety!" it was his last words.
"Leader!" "!?"
Every one of them was startled. Their leader was shot dead, who killed him? No one is here, apart from the 3 outside the room who are defending and on the lookout, and the 4 within this room, the leader, Rifter, the miss, and Rene.
Rifter who was being tasked to protect the lady and escape quickly looked at Rene and the gun in his hand pointed towards the leader.
There are two sh.e.l.ls on the ground below Rene. Also, his gun is still smoking hot.
Evidently, Rene is the killer which made the two, Rifter and the lady doubt what they had seen.
"Rene! What have you done? WHY?"
Rene did not reply but continued to stare at them.
The lady was scared and hid behind Rifter.

The man named Rene glanced at her and s.h.i.+fted his line of sight towards Rifter. He smiled and pointed his gun towards them.
"Hahaha! I can't die here, just because of this stupid mission! And also I never had been one of you since the beginning."
"What do you mean?"
"How do you think they managed to trace us?"
Rifter's eyes contracted. He was enraged.
"RENE! YOU BAST (Bang!) !?"
He was shot in his shoulder. He pressed on his wounds and glared at Rene.
The latter was dissatisfied so he beat Rifter until he can't move. Rifter could not resist and tears can be spotted in his eyes.
"I... won't forgive you."
"Don't waste your energy Rifter, the Red Feather Pirates won't kill you if you surrender."
He looked at the lady trembling in fear and said,
"You, do not move."
Rene dragged the dead body towards the bed found in the corner of the room. After taking care of the corpse he tied the lady and Rifter so that they won't be able to move.
He loaded his gun and exited the room.
Bang! Bang! Bang!

Outside, running towards the south Dylan's watch rang again. He halted his steps but before picking up the call he looked forward, to find the red smoke. But, he can't find the smoke! He was troubled on how to get to the location.
Everyone knows his biggest problem. He is unreliable in terms of direction, locations, and places. He is dumb in the aspect that he 'not often' but always get lost.
He turned around, he found the red smoke. Like always he ran like nothing happened and smiled, "It seems that I overran."
