Everyone in the room heard Damien and saw the medal held in his hands. The Ensigns immediately prostrated in front of it and retreated. They s.h.i.+fted their sight unto Dylan and saw him standing still and not moving.

Tien looked at Dylan and sneered, "How can you refuse now?"

The three confidants, the ensigns looked at Dylan and waited for his reply. They expected him to bend his morals in front of the authority held by the medal.

Dylan s.h.i.+fted his sight from the medal and looked at the people inside the room. They wore naval uniforms but followed not the council but another party they aren't affiliated with. They are earning favors by abandoning their inst.i.tute. This is what they looked like in reality.
