Chapter 2: Trouble

"Don't look at those group!"

"Huh? Why?"

"You better not or you won't leave unscathed if you irritated them."

"Is that so?"

The atmosphere in the bar is not like its usual glee. Although there are people speaking and laughing it is kind of tense.

The reason around it is because of a certain group of people gathered in the table near the window. Everyone in the bar decided not to make a noise to avoid trouble.

The members of the group are outsiders that visited the town but there were rumors about murder caused by a group led by a man wearing a Cappello with a red feather on top just like the one sitting in the bar.

"Ah! I know that story."

"Hey! keep it quiet!" "Don't let them hear you."

A moment later the door opened and a youth came in with a huge smile on his face. He surveyed the bar and saw the group of men sitting near the window. As though it is normal his legs led him towards the counter while looking at the people inside the bar.

As he was not looking at where he going he suddenly mad a turn and-

His head hit the wall. The counter is still a meter away from him.

"Ouch! it hurts."

Everyone in the bar burst into laughter witnessing the farce that played in front of them. But the glee came to a halt as they noticed the group near the window not laughing.

The boy quickly headed towards the counter like nothing happened, while this time he learned his lesson and watched his steps.

As the mood has calmed never will the people in the bar expected what happened next.

The boy looked up at the bartender and opened his mouth to order.

"Uncle, please get me a big mug of Milk please!"

As if the world paused for a second the people tried to digest the boy's words.

"A mead you say?"

"A mug of Milk sir."

"?" "!?"

"HE SAID MILK?" "We have a KID here! HAHAHA!"

"CLa.s.sIC! hahaha!" "A clown! He's a clown- hahaha!"

The bar once again burst into laughter. This time the laughter lasted for some time.

The boy whistled as he waited for his milk ignoring the noise around. He looked extremely carefree and whimsical.

Although he became a subject of laughter, everyone in the bar did not mock him apart from the ones near the window.

It was a hot day but as the city and the bar are located near the port the place is cooled by the fresh sea breeze.

Everyone returned to their own business, the bartender tended his customers and wiped the counter, while the boy enjoyed his milk.

The boy isn't small actually he is taller than average. But his expression and carefree manners made him look like a young boy.

Later a girl walked into the bar and headed to the kitchen after greeting the bartender.

"I am very sorry, owner, I am late."

"Ah, no it's alright Naan."

The girl changed into her working attire and tended the customer of their needs.

It was a busy day, especially the group near the window ordered lots of alcohol. It seems that they are waiting for something and never bothered by the others around them.

After two hours, it is the hottest time of the day. The bar had all its windows and the door left wide open.

A man entered the bar and surveyed it's interior looking for someone. He is a man of average stature and looks, the only catchy on him is his thick mustache.

He saw the group situated near the window and started to walk to them. Likewise, the group noticed him walking towards them and informed the man in Cappello.

The man stopped just in front of the one in Cappello who seems to be the leader of the group. He waited for the leader to speak and continued to stand for a moment.

The leader of the group looked up, staring at the face of the man in front of him.

"News?" he said.

"We found them." the man quickly replied as a smirk drew on his face.

The group did not move until the leader stood up and spoke. One by one they stood up and followed their leader towards the exit.

The waitress noticed them heading outside and did not believe what she was seeing. She took loud steps towards the crowd with the intent to be noticed, but the group ignored her so she shouted.

"HEY! Don't you dare leave without paying!"

At the sound of her voice, everyone's attention was turned to her. They were stunned, even the group halted their steps but did not face her.

"Oh no! I smell trouble-" "The Iron Lady is here!"

"It seems we have to get out of here." "This bar is done for."

The bar getting noisy with whispers of the people.

The waitress, Naan noticed that she was being ignored as the group continued to move outside.

"Hey! Can't you hear me? Are you deaf?"

Nevermind the spectators, the leader of the group was dissatisfied. His subordinates noticed it and decided to act.

"Hey, Miss! How about you give us a face and let this pa.s.s."
