Chapter 1: Prologue

The three great continents, Great Dominance Continent, Penson Continent and Goryeo Continent sits in the middle of the vast oceans. Throughout the entire history of mankind, these are the only lands they knew and saw. They had been protecting their territory for thousands of years from the creatures of the 9 seas.

555 years before the breakthrough mankind succeeded in pus.h.i.+ng out the threats from all direction through the Great Naval Council which was built for the sole protection of the three continents. But it was the same year that the humankind witnesses the limit of their scope and area.

They found the limit of their horizon; the line that encircles the scope of their Horizon became well known and can't be crossed. it was like a huge wall that encircles the territory of mankind, no one was able to cross it. The horizon where filled with dangers like huge falls with heights of a Caet[1] where every s.h.i.+p caught will crush under torrential waves and height, or Storms that never fades, an area of great waves or den of enormous creatures. The humans thought there is nothing beyond the line and gave up crossing it.

However, a man named Cordel Delbram a part of the highest authority of the Great Naval Council did not give up. He commanded an expedition consisting of 5 tier 3 Wars.h.i.+ps and 12 tier 2 Wars.h.i.+ps. He sailed across the southern seas and marked the first breakthrough of mankind.

After 4 years Cordel succeeded in expanding the horizon and came back victorious. He found new continents and new limits which were called Delbram's Line.

With the horizon expanded it did not actually bring good news, war broke between empires to take the new continents. The navy's burden was also maximized due to greater threats from the new seas. With the problem occurring left and right the Navy initiated a change. The navy became the World Navy Council[2] with 5 new departments.

The 5 departments are led by the 5 council leaders. The 3 departments are responsible for the three continents' safety which consists of a fleet each. The last two departments are responsible for fending off the threat from the new horizons with the southern and eastern seas under Cordel's who commands 2 fleets.

After 25 years mankind thought that war is finally over until the year 30 After Breakthrough a new power came to rise. They managed to conquer almost all the empires of the world. The Tri Magnates each were powerful and has great influence took advantage of the navy being busy to conquer the world.

Year 41 A.F. the war was concluded with no victor, the Navy managed to stay untouchable and powerful while the Tri Magnates still so powerful. The two forces made a pact and became two independent forces one stayed the same as the world navy and the other took responsibility to govern the continents and became the Tri Magnate Government[3].

Year 50 A.F. a council leader was killed after a war in the Eastern seas. 5 strong figures claimed to be the Sea Emperors that shall rule the seas. It was yet another burden for the navy. They are not a powerhouse but an alliance of unlicensed sailors such as pirates, treasure hunters, and explorers.

Still, the war was not concluded but became milder turning into a cold war.

It is the year 55 the new era of three powers.

"Now new elites of the World Navy! We oath to protect our homeland against all adversities and challenges. We aim to be the guardians of the people and leaders of the sea."

A man standing in front of the recruit that has graduated gave his speech. He was a part of the navy and on his chest lies a badge of an Admiral.

"May I call Dylan the representative of the elites? To bring his speech."

A young man walked into the stage and took the microphone.

"I, Dylan of the World Navy! Promise to bring peace to the land and carry the burdens of the sea. I aim to be an elite that shall lead a new era after Sir Delbram and will sail over the untouched seas of the north!"

The audience was taken aback by his words because even Delbram failed to conquer the north.

The southern and western seas that Delbram has sailed were already beyond the mankind and the dangers of the north are greater. For a young man to be ambitious is good but a man who is overconfident will only fall flat.

But out of everyone who heard him, there are few who clenched their fist and aimed for the same thing.

"I, Dylan makes this oath today and shall do this very oath with all my might!"
