Lu Xiao Qi knew that the little panda was not afraid of him, but didn't dare to move.

Mo GunGun staggered while trying to stand up. After several failed attempts, he finally stood up. Two short hind legs stepped on the ground, and when the forepaws were raised high, in the middle of his paws was his treasured golden bamboo shoot.

Mo GunGun: “Ao. Ao-ao!”

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes narrowed.

His ears twitched in puzzlement due to his lack of movement as he urged, “Hmm!”

Lu Xiao Qi crossed the fine awns, kneeled on one knee, then slowly unfolded his palm.

Mo GunGun thought about it while peeking at the big monster, then cautiously put down the bamboo shoot on the big claw.

Mo GunGun: “Ao.”

Lu Xiao Qi could not hold on to this little gift. For him, the bamboo shoot that was as thick as a finger was insignificant. But that little bit of effort of trying to please

him was really gratifying, so the admiral could not help but reveal a faint smile.

Lu Xiao Qi stretched out another finger.

Mo GunGun carefully observed for a few seconds and hesitated before stretching out a furry little paw to place it on the admiral's finger.

Faced with such emboldened eyes, Lu Xiao Qi's eyebrows could not help but be raised. The small animal was very cautious. The man held his breath, not wanting to scare away the timid animal.

His ears trembled. Mo GunGun whispered, "Ao."

The small animal was still probing him.

Lu Xiao Qi's face was as firm as a rock. However, his heart was amused and he even thought that the panda was a little bit cunning.

It seemed that the big monster didn't want to eat him. A pair of delicate black panda eyes looked up at him, then he reached out with another paw.

He was still trembling and a little stiff, but the panda knew that he took the most successful step in his life.

Safe!

The panda's heart relaxed, as two watery black pupils blinked. In the past, when he found that he was in danger, he clung to it habitually.

This habit of his came by instinct. The size of the monster's hands were neither too thick nor too thin, but just right. Mo GunGun looked up after his forepaws were held tightly. Looking at the monster for two seconds, the little panda squirmed, then even his hind legs were attached to his fingers.

Lu Xiao Qi: “………”

Lu Xiao Qi fell to an unknown planet. By some strange coincidence, Lu Xiao Qi now had a precious and delicate finger pendant.

Like a koala, he tightly grasped the monster's fingers, his furry little head clinging to his nails. A pair of bright black eyes shone, and a wet nose sniffed his fingers repeatedly, as if investigating new grounds.

Then, Lu Xiao Qi curled his fingers.

The panda, as if he had no bones, bent too.

As he was forced to curl into a ball, Mo GunGun complained, “Well.”

Seeing that the panda felt a little wronged, Lu Xiao Qi could only say: “…….”

The panda's round eyes turned wet, revealing delicateness and naiveness, as he felt a little annoyed, Lu Xiao Qi thought silently and could not help but cough softly.

Putting the panda back on the ground, Lu Xiao Qi stared at the mecha with an unfathomable look.

Mo GunGun glanced at the big monster, and after pondering for two seconds, he went into the bush with two golden bamboo shoots in his mouth.

The big monster was still a little scary, but he should be a good monster. Maybe they can be neighbors in the future.

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes glittered, and the scene seemed familiar: Previously, the little fellow had similarly ran off like this.

After a moment of contemplation, Lu Xiao Qi's face relaxed slightly.

It was really interesting.

For example, after using his mecha for more than ten years, and thanks to some special reasons, he fell to this primitive planet. When he woke up, Lu Xiao Qi unexpectedly found an unfamiliar pleasant scenery around him.

It's like the motion of a gyroscope suddenly stopped when he discovered the delicate pleasure in the triviality of life by encountering a furball.

On the same day, he returned back to his nest. Mo GunGun gathered up his bamboo shoots, picked up hay, and carefully hid the two bamboo shoots in the deepest part of the nest. After briefly admiring its appearance, the hay was flattened. He walked back and forth on the hay bed and carefully sniffed a few times, pretending that nothing happened.

Despite his desire to do everything well, Mo GunGun still fell down due to the inertia which caused his two hind legs slip. The panda shook his ears as he curled up in a ball and hugged his hind paws to cover himself. The panda  then proceeded to roll across his nest several times. Afterwards, he sprawled out his limbs and laid down. From a distance, only a round, chubby little b.u.t.tocks was discernible along with a tilted little tail.

Mo GunGun stared at the sky: It's good to be alive.

Looking at the damaged mecha which was severely broken, Lu Xiao Qi's eyebrows were locked and his eyes were cold and sharp.

After several battles in the past, he did feel slightly ill. The appearance of the Hongkun imperial clan can be said to have brought the most tragic battle in the past two decades. The myth of infection that has plagued interstellar humans for countless years would soon be unraveled, as well as the loss of those brave soldiers who fought until their mechas were destroyed. As for those who survived, the majority of their mecha have suffered at least 67% damage. The real reason behind it all must be related to them as well.

Lu Xiao Qi picked up parts of the mecha which were scattered on the ground. While he searched, his eyebrow gradually furrowed even deeper.

While pondering about the real reason, he suddenly threw the parts down and looked at them.

The answer laid in the mecha pierces.

The truth was close at hand.

Raising his sharp eyebrows, Lu Xiao Qi looked deep into the forest, which held something with a little bit of magical power.

Tracing back the source of this magical power, the source actually came from a little panda who was dreaming of gorging on a large meal right now. While snoring, Mo GunGun laid on his belly and stretched out four small claws like a little king beckoning for food. He dreamed that he was eating three great delicacies. The small claws which held on to the illusory food trembled slightly, and the frequency of his bites was quite fast.

Suddenly, Mo GunGunGun opened his mouth and flipped himself over in his sleep.

Thump.

Hitting the edge of the tree hole, Mo GunGun blinked drowsily. He leaned his drooping ears against the hole while his face showed a blank expression.

He rubbed his eyes and straightened his paws as he stretched lazily.

His stomach growled. Mo GunGun licked his mouth. Pandas eat for ten hours every day. The recently too-frightened-to-eat-as-normal panda thought that his meal goal was quite far from achieved. He sat cross-legged with soft limbs. His forepaws drooped at will, seemingly a little decadent.

As he reflected back on what happened today, he experienced his mood fluctuate rapidly, making him even hungrier. He picked the empty rattan and stood up. He shook his messy fur and slowly walked out of the tree hole. He worried about his two treasured bamboo being left alone, but also realized that just keeping himself safe was already hard enough.

If only the golden nest of the big monster could be moved into the tree hole…

Mo GunGun's body swayed left and right as he squatted on the ground. He gave himself some encouragement: One day, he will also have his own golden nest!

After arriving to the place where bamboo shoots are most abundant, the hamster attributes of Mo GunGun surged forth as he looked around, a little awed.

The little panda gulped, and then happily rolled on the ground. The next instant, he grabbed a a bamboo shoot filled with dew, and he tore off its skin, devouring it in two or three bites.

So sweet!

And there was a lot of fresh bamboo shoots!

They were all newly sprouted thanks to the rain! Even without the golden nest, he could also build a purple food park!

The panda laid on its side, hugging bamboo shoots and feasting. As soon as he rolled, he immediately leaned against a nearby bamboo shoot and settled down to eat. Since his forepaws which were stuffing in food were not fast enough, Mo GunGun decided to use his hind paws too.

While chewing, Mo GunGun laid down on the pile of bamboo shoots. He grew more and more convinced that he shouldn't ever leave.

A land so rich in tasty food is indeed hard to part with.

Although the good monster didn't kill him, it also didn't necessarily take care of him. After a moment of hard thinking, Mo GunGun's eyes suddenly lit up.

Somehow, he thought of a very good idea.

Bribery!

Then Mo GunGun sat up and pondered.

What is bribery?

He caught a glimpse of his beautiful bamboo shoots, and he could not help getting tearful.

Mo GunGun: “QAQ”

But if he didn't do this, his dream of a purple mountain would be gone.

He might only vaguely understand what it means to have the best, but being a little panda who lived in a small world, of course he would think that bamboo shoots were the best among the best.

Mo GunGun fiercely stuffed some other bamboo into his mouth. How he wished that he could eat all of them at once.

After eating, Mo GunGun kept his eyes on the bamboo shoots and began to work hard, gathering them into a pile.

The clumsy little claws twisted and twisted as he painstakingly tied the shoots up one by one. He stared at the small mountain of bamboo and suddenly felt hungry again. He swallowed his saliva.

His stomach felt hollowed out after his hard work. Deep inside, Mo GunGun  wanted nothing more than to swallow it all or hide it in his nest, but he resisted. He turned around and wrapped the food mountain. This was his bribe to the big monster in exchange for water. He can't eat it.

Mo GunGun bit his paws hard: No! It must not be eaten!

Dragging a bribe of more than twenty bamboo shoots, Mo GunGun powered forward like an angry bull.

The bamboo shoots scratched the ground and brought the  sound of ropes breaking, causing, a trail to be created.

Mo GunGun spent nine cattle and two tigers to bring this pile of bamboo shoots to the edge of the lake. He was almost paralyzed. He wished he could stick out his tongue to breathe.

Then, the panda dropped the pile of bamboo shoots and rolled down with tiredness.

As a result of several close encounters with the big monster, who did not hurt him or even made him feel itchy, Mo GunGun's courage grew bigger, which was evident as his eyes fell on the lake.

His eyes stared at the water, his thirst for it unconcealable.

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes narrowed.

Mo GunGun took a deep breath and withdrew his gaze from the lake. While stumbling, he held the bamboo shoots and walked towards Lu Xiao Qi.

Finally, he just needed to hand over his bribe. Mo GunGun whose heart felt like it was being squeezed, gritted his teeth, and pushed hard against the bamboo shoots in Lu Xiao Qi's direction.

Lu Xiao Qi who stood above and watched: “……”

Mo GunGun looked up at him, then took another look at the water.

Lu Xiao Qi, who's lips twitched in amus.e.m.e.nt: “………”

Mo GunGun was anxious and didn't want to be rejected, so to give himself some confidence, he looked back at the bamboo shoots he brought.

Here, I will give you this. Mo GunGun really  wanted water.

The panda's round eyes twinkled like stars as he licked his nose eagerly.

Lu Xiao Qi retained a calm facade on the surface, while in his heart he was very surprised.

The intelligence quotient of this panda could not be compared to that of an ordinary animal. The admiral had already guessed the meaning of the small panda's movements. It was only because he understood that he was surprised. He seemed very human-like. Those black pupils of his seemed to carry a meaning, making anyone who saw them stop in wonder.

Pandas do not like to talk, but Mo GunGun opened his mouth again: “Hmm!”

Lu Xiao Qi kept quiet and touched the bamboo shoots.

He watched as Mo GunGun's eyes filled with tears.

Lu Xiao Qi: “………”

As if he didn't want to be marked as a great villain by this small creature, the fearsome admiral retracted his hand. Surprised, the little fellow couldn't help but blink.

Lu Xiao Qi was silent for a moment, straightened up, and put an unused cup in front of Mo GunGun's frightened eyes.

The bewildered panda stared at the cup for a moment before cautiously sniffing it.

What is this?
