Fortunately, the panda's restlessness was short-lived. He tossed and turned in the tent for a minute before giving up with half of his head sticking out of the hole and then pa.s.sing out.

After setting up the tent once again and laying the little one onto the small mat, Lu Xiao Qi stared at the freshly-made hole in the tent.  He thought of the drunk panda's silly little face and couldn't help but laugh.

He closely examined the white bamboo skin again. Lu Xiao Qi fell into deep thought as the color of his eyes grew darker and darker.

Mo GunGun slept for more than twenty hours. When he woke up the next day, the moon had already risen. He sat up and squinted, staring at the small cus.h.i.+on in a daze before slipping under the mat and s.h.i.+vering.

Where is he?

When he tried to remember, Mo GunGun only felt pain in his head, as if he was struck by a stone.

Uh huh.

What had happened to him?

His mind was foggy as his memories before going to bed slowly returned to him. He gripped onto a small corner of the mat and turned stiff.

He seemed to have eaten something that made him feel like he was floating, then he was carried somewhere, and then…

He destroyed one of the big monster's treasures.

Mo GunGun carefully looked around the tent and immediately caught sight of the conspicuous hole.

Mo GunGun's body felt like it was covered in ice as his limbs turned cold and stiff.

He, he…

After remaining motionless for a long time, Mo GunGun silently retreated beneath the mat like a tortoise.

His two furry paws covered his eyes, too ashamed to face anyone.

His heart thumped loudly. He didn't know what to do. He was simply too unlucky.

After a moment of uneasiness, as a warning for the future, he decisively bit down on his own tail, hard enough to pull out a tuft of fur.

The monster is so pitifully hairless…  He, he can give him a little.

But the fur on his tail was too little, so the panda's eyes fell on his belly.

The fur there was very soft. Staring at his pretty little belly, Mo GunGun cried without tears, covering his eyes with his small paws.

In the future, he might become the ugliest panda in the universe.

Inhaling sharply through his nose, he felt incredibly wronged but knew what he had to do. His little claws firmly grabbed his fur.

“Ah!!!”

The voice was tender but extraordinarily pained.

Lu Xiao Qi, who was boiling milk, was shocked as his fingers shook and his pupils narrowed. He stood up, entered the tent, and was greeted by the sight of black and white fur all over the place, surrounding a bloodstained panda.

It was a terrifying sight.

He noticed the blood marks on the panda's belly. Mo GunGun's whole body was extremely stiff, as if he had returned to the moment when he was being skinned.

Fear overwhelmed him. He stared at his stomach and hardly breathed, as if he was on the verge of suffocation. The fear of death and pain made his heart palpitate. The shadows of his past that had gradually faded away were once again renewed. In a daze, the little panda had violent tremors wracking his body as his mouth trembled.

He stared at the red stained fur on his belly and then the bright red liquid on his pink pads. Golden beans spilled down his face.

He, was he going to die again?

No! Help, someone save me!

The panda's blood ran cold as he was trapped in the horror of his old memories.

Save…

One paw stretched out. His pupils shrank as he cried out while revealing his canines, “Uh huh huh!”

Did he mean to tear his belly?! No no no!

Mo GunGun trembled more fiercely. He felt like he had scratched something, and when he saw the spatter of bloodstains, he panicked. Blood, how terrible! How terrible!

Lu Xiao Qi's face was sombre. He feared that the soft little animal would hurt himself since his claws were sharp.

Lu Xiao Qi gently picked up his knife, not wanting to accidentally hurt the panda, then carefully lifted the small animal and cut his fur away before spraying the wound with medicinal gel. A soft white light enshrouded his tiny paws before it gradually faded. Lu Xiao Qi tentatively pinched the tip of his claws. The only thing left was a trace of scab, completely different from the original b.l.o.o.d.y scratch.

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes drooped, absorbed in thought.

The small panda was wrapped in a quilt, then stuffed inside the bag and carried with him.

The panda didn't know that he had become an ornament for his landlord as he fell asleep once again.

As the panda's wound was wrapped, the soft white light reappeared for a few seconds, causing the wound to fully recover.

Small, tender skin was revealed with no traces of damage to be found.

But this little piece of fur was still…

Smooth.

After waking up again, Mo GunGun was attracted by an aroma.

He reacted slowly, realizing that there was something in his mouth. He subconsciously sucked it, and his taste buds were filled with a sweet and fragrant taste. It's delicious! Unable to think about anything else, with his stomach empty enough to make noise, Mo GunGun directly held the baby bottle up to his mouth. He sucked nonstop, as if he was intoxicated.

What is this?

He continued drinking while thinking of trivial matters. Suddenly, he made eye contact with the big monster's pitch-black pupils.

Mo GunGun's body stiffened and the pacifier slowly slipped out of his mouth. He decided to respectfully seek out the monster and carefully collected himself, hiding behind the bottle with two furry little claws lightly pus.h.i.+ng it.

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes flashed slightly before he sighed. He touched the panda's head and said,  “Don't be afraid. it's okay.”

The panda's eyes were full of horror, and his ears kept shaking.

Lu Xiao Qi bent his head, and a magnetic voice rang out,  “Drink.”

Mo GunGun looked into the monster's eyes.

He opened his mouth, “En!”

It was still a young and tender voice, but Mo GunGun was shocked. Anxious, he grabbed his ears, “Well, um um!”

Lu Xiao Qi's brows knitted together. The little panda's emotions seemed very wrong. Aside from self-mutilation, would there be any other consequences?

After countless attempts, Mo GunGun finally found that, no matter what he said, the big monster could not understand him.

But…

But he could understand the big monster.

The monster told him to not be afraid.

He didn't know how he learned to understand the big monster overnight, but he felt that it was good news. He was shocked and wanted to tell the big monster, but he was frustrated to find that only he could understand what the monster said, while the monster was unable to understand him.

The panda sat up.

He is a wise panda, yet how can he have such a stupid friend? Then again, the monster had saved him from death, and for that, he was very grateful. He happily stretched out his small paws and hugged Lu Xiao Qi's hand, rubbing it on his face.

When Lu Xiao Qi finally recovered, he found that he didn't mind the panda's actions.

Before, when Mo GunGun did something wrong, the big monster still saved him. Now, he obediently stayed in the bag within the big monster's arms.

He held the bottle and carefully picked it up.

Lu Xiao Qi touched the little guy's head and gazed at the sky. The stars at night were very dense and bright.

This is a view that could not be seen even from the Star Tower.

He compressed the repaired mech and lifted it up. Now that his situation was unknown, it could give the demons and monsters time to fight amongst themselves.

What had he once done…

Waiting to return.

After adding a pinch of crushed skeleton powder into the hole of the mech parts, Lu Xiao Qi felt that the little guy was his lucky star.

He thought that the skeletons were superb materials, but he didn't think much about them. However, after they were a.n.a.lyzed, he discovered that they contained hy-180, a material used to make the hardest and most lethal weapons. Within the vast sea of stars, it was impossible to find such high-end and rare materials.

So to speak, this tiny amount could be sold for a price as high as the heavens.

Some countries might even trade a wars.h.i.+p for it.

Now that Lu Xiao Qi has acquired two whole skeletons, it can be said that he is already the richest existence in the world.

After drinking milk, Mo GunGun felt much more comfortable.

Lu Xiao Qi saw that he was back to normal, and finally felt relieved. He picked up the little panda and held him in his embrace, “Don't move.”

Mo GunGun's ears twitched, "Huh?"

He understood what he said, but he didn't know what it meant. Since the big monster also did not understand, then he would just pretend to be a wooden panda. He watched the big monster push aside his small paws, take out a spray bottle, point it at his belly, and then…

Lu Xiao Qi was stunned.

The little belly was already completely cured. The smooth and tender piece of skin had no hair and no trace of a wound.

Lu Xiao Qi examined it and gave the ignorant panda a deep look.

Perhaps, he had misjudged the little fellow.

There are many interstellar races with excellent resilience, and he couldn't confirm whether the little guy was as weak as the real legendary panda.

It could be a mutation.

Unaware that his ident.i.ty had become something so profound in Lu Xiao Qi's heart, Mo GunGun just wanted to explode right now.

His beautiful fur!

His belly was bald, his fur was gone, ao, ao, ao!

Bending his head, the wet, little nose kept sniffing his bare belly. He couldn't believe it.

He just wanted to pluck his hair, but he seemed to have cut himself open.

He didn't know how he would ever recover now that his fur was gone.

The round, little panda curled up and explored the small patch of hairless skin on his belly. It was both funny and cute.

Mo GunGun's raised his head, eyes already swollen with tears.

QAQ. He turned into an ugly monster, and he could no longer become a charming panda like his mother anymore.

Lu Xiao Qi put away his smile, and seriously said, “It will grow back soon.”

Really? Mo GunGun sniffled, teary eyed.

Lu Xiao Qi touched his small head. “It will definitely grow back very soon.”

Though the naive and innocent Mo GunGun believed the big monster was telling the truth, he still felt that he had become an uncomely ugly being.

Lu Xiao Qi tried to console him, “I have no hair.”

Mo GunGun looked at the admiral's three-dimensional, sharp facial features and inexplicably felt his heart settle down. The big hairless monster had never complained about his own unsightly appearance. So, Mo GunGun shouldn't give up on himself!

From the small theater:

Gong: What are you thinking about?

Shou: I miss the large, elegant, and round face of mama. Her dark eye circles were the most beautiful things in the world.

Gong, hesitating: Then… how do you feel about me?

Shou answering within seconds: Except for your handsome tail and hair, everything else is very ugly. No wait, your hair is ugly too. If only it was green, it would look much better.

Gong regarded his mortal enemy as he stared unwaveringly at the hair dye and himself in the mirror.
