Reborn In The Narutoverse 68 Battle By The Lake Side!

Befitting its name, Kirigakure was surrounded by a thick mist that was difficult to see through, there were several moss-covered mountains in the background and large pools of water that had buildings constructed over them, because of the rough terrain the location was difficult to find by foreigners. Kirigakure's architecture was composed of several cylindrical buildings made of stone or slate, the Mizukage's office being the widest and largest of them all. Most of the buildings have vegetation such as trees and bushes growing out of the open circular rooftops, and a large wall seemed to separate the village into sections.

Kakas.h.i.+ looked a little disturbed as he looked over the city that threw away Rin, especially after hearing the information left Kibo left, he didn't want to believe that Obito was capable of such a thing, but if it turned out to be true, he thought that it was his responsibility to put an end to his friend's madness.

Before they entered the village they used a transformation, Jutsu and took the form of ident.i.ties that the Konoha spies managed to acquire for them. As they traveled through the streets of Kirigakure, Kakas.h.i.+ only felt worse when he Naruto noticed his melancholy att.i.tude and came up beside him, and gave him a good slap on the back while saying "Cheer up Sensei!" Kakas.h.i.+ whose mind was elsewhere and had been caught off guard, he tried to catch himself from falling forward; however, a young woman who was reading a book had walked out from around the corner directly in front of him.

Kakas.h.i.+ fell on top of her and when he had opened his eyes, Kakas.h.i.+ realized that he was kissing her. Jumping up he tried to apologize but when he saw the novel on the ground thinking it was his, Kakas.h.i.+ went to pick it up. However, before he could do so the young lady took the book back from his hands. Kakas.h.i.+ realized that the Icha Icha novel was actually hers, blushed a little.

Getting a good look at the woman in front of him, he realized that he was staring at a beauty that resembled Haku slightly. Her facial features were all well proportioned and she had a pair of juicy lips that could make a man go crazy. She had long black hair that slightly curled at the tips and dark brown eyes; which was a common trait in the Yuki Clan. Her breast size was above average and her loose pink kimono emphasized her curves. Underneath she wore a skin-tight training uniform and loose fitting pinstriped pants.

Kakas.h.i.+ held his hand out and tried to explain when he felt the air chill around him, "Kahyō, what's wrong dear?" An elderly man with a short stature and a full body black cloak that covered everything but the bottom half of his face appeared. As he walked out from behind the corner he stared at the scene before him.

"Master!" Kahyō shouted before bowing.

"Did this man accost you?" The elder said looking at Kakas.h.i.+ with a hint of playfulness in his eyes.

"No master he just tried to steal from me!" Kahyō said with anger in his tone, Kakas.h.i.+ with a red face pulled his own copy and said very quietly "I thought it was mine!"

"You still stole from me!" Kahyō shouted again. Kakas.h.i.+ started to sweat as he figured out what she meant. "Ohh?" The old man said with a mischievous tone. "What did he take?"

Kahyō looked fl.u.s.tered as she placed her hands over her lips, tears formed at the corners of her eyes as she leapt into her master's arms and cried out "I'm not 'Pure' anymore!"

Kakas.h.i.+ and was the only one not amused by this, the rest of team 7 was busy trying to hold in their laughter when a thick killing intent invaded the area. "You dare to touch my disciple. Good! Good! It appears I've stayed hidden for too long."

The scene quieted down and all of the onlookers took to their houses in fear, they could only sigh and think 'Another Killing in broad daylight.' In Kirigakure this had become a constant problem, but as much as he wanted to stop these kinds of things from happening, the controlled Mizukage could only watch as his village descended into madness.

Kakas.h.i.+ rose his hands up and tried to defend himself when Naruto said, "It was only a kiss." Sakura hit him in the back of the head and shouted "Baka, do you know how important a girl's first kiss it?"

Hearing this the old man's killing intent stopped and a sound of laughter could be heard coming from underneath the cloak, "I see he did steal something."

The old man started laughing louder as he teased his beloved student "Say Kahyō didn't you say you were going to marry the man you shared your first kiss with." Kahyō's eyes widened as her crocodile tears stopped before she said, "But I don't want to marry such a plain looking man."

Kakas.h.i.+'s disguise was that of a rather unattractive man, making the rest of team 7 desperately try to hold in their laughter. The old man laughed again and said "Kahyō how many times did I tell you not to rely on your eyes. Use the water particles in the air to see his true appearance."

As Kahyō did this she blushed and the rest of team 7 got into a fighting stance. The old man waved his hand and said "I have no ties to this place, and care not of what you are here for. But you stole my 2nd disciples first kiss, I'm afraid if you don't agree to marry her here and now. . . I'll be making a ruckus."

The old man then projected his Chakra making them feel how dangerous he truly was, Minato placed his arm around his shoulder and said, "For the mission!" Kakas.h.i.+ looked to his unreasonable Sensei with begging eyes. Seeing no response from his teammates he muttered "Traitors!" Under his breath, and took Kahyō's hand before saying "I promise one. . .d .d .day I will Marry you."

The old man laughed as he patted Kakas.h.i.+'s shoulders, "I'll hold you to that!" Kakas.h.i.+'s shoulders felt like they had been struck by Tsunade herself, a chill creep up his spine as he thought "Who is this old man?"

He gave Kakas.h.i.+ a map and said, "My village is located in the marked location, Kahyō and her brother will be leaving with me in a few days. I expect you to visit and make arrangements." The old man said grinning.

Kakas.h.i.+ sighed and put away the map without looking at it, while the old man walked away with his disciple, Minato patted Kakas.h.i.+'s back and said, "We're invited to the ceremony right?" Kakas.h.i.+ smiled and said each word with great emphasis, "I. Will. Get. You. All. For. This."

The rest of team 7 laughed and continued on their mission. It took them a while to find their targets, but once they did they began spying on them. Thanks to Hinata's Byakugan she could read their lips, and watch them from a safe enough distance, after waiting for a day they finally said something. "When is that brat Tobi going to show up?" Kakuzu grunted when Hidan said, "Even the great lord Jas.h.i.+n would lose his patients if this Tobi doesn't show up. I need a good kill, should I just let loose here in the village. Ohhh! Jas.h.i.+n Kami would so proud of me!"

"Keep it in your pants Psycho; you know what? I really want to kill you right now." Kakuzu said unleas.h.i.+ng his Killing intent; when Hidan smiled back at him and joyously said, "You would make a beautiful Sacrifice to Jas.h.i.+n." He laughed as pulled out his triple-bladed scythe and pointed it as his neck.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late." A man with an orange spiral mask with one eye hole walked through the wall, he was wearing the Akatsuki uniform and moved around with a foolish stature. "I fell through the ground again. Tobi is sorry."

"Enough of your foolishness, why have we decided to go after the 3 tails so soon?" Kakuzu shouted in annoyance.

"The Gen-Jutsu on the Mizukage is starting to fail, the caster is dying so we need to act now," Tobi said with a playful tone and a sense of joking in his voice.

The two were grabbed by Tobi and carried through their hotel room wall. Team 7 moved into action, making sure not to be noticed by them, they barely managed to tail them to a large open lake surrounded by forest. Thanks to Hinata's constant improvement she had pushed her Byakugan seeing limit far beyond what she could accomplish in the original timeline. With this, they managed to stay far enough away to even avoid Obito's detection.

They joined up with Pain/Yahiko and Konan, they stood and waited around for a while, when the Mizukage showed up with a pained expression on his face, he looked to the group of Akatsuki and said "Why am I here? What's going on?"

Seeing the threatening situation, Yagura was about to unleash the three-tailed beast to go berserk, when he saw a three-p.r.o.nged Kunai fly past him and was aimed directly at Obito's mask. Obito absorbed it into his Kamui and realized what a big mistake he had made when he saw another aimed at his feet. A bolt of glowing gold light appeared alongside a Giant Sage Rasengan.

Obito jumped back and stared at the person in front of him in shock. Minato was in the Nine-Tailed Chakra Mode and was staring down his old pupil. "How, you?" Before he could finish another golden blur appeared and sent both Konan and Pain flying away with a Black and White Sage powered Rasengan.

Naruto who also showed up in full on Nine-Tailed Chakra Mode stood in front of the Mizukage and said, "Don't worry, we're here to help."

Yagura frowned and said, "Though I appreciate your a.s.sistance, it isn't needed." He pulled out his long hook-like weapon and pointed it at the two remaining Akatsuki members.

However before Kakuzu and Hidan could move; Sakura and Hinata showed up in front of Hidan, and Sasuke and Kakas.h.i.+ showed up in front of Kakuzu.

"I hear your Immortal!" Sakura said as she cracked her fist, "Yes Jas.h.i.+n grants me immortality, in return I give him death." Before he could continue on his ranting, Sakura hit him gut and used her chakra like a scalpel to sever all his muscles and tendons while sending him flying in a straight line through the air. Hinata appeared behind him and sealed his Chakra points with a powerful Fūin Jutsu, the mult.i.tude of attacks from Hinata's gentle fist sent him directly above lake, Sakura had appeared above him and shouted "Shhaarraannoo!"

As she slammed her fist into his stomach, it shattered all his bones into a powder-like form, Hidan shot off like a bullet towards the ground destroying the entire lakeside in an explosion of debris.

After the smoke cleared and the lake rapidly drained, a completely crippled Hidan was shouting furiously as his body was laid out amongst the rocks. "You b.i.t.c.hes! What did you do to me? Why do I feel like a blob of jelly? Why can't I heal?" His body really looked like a human-shaped sack and was still able to shout. However thanks to the Fūin Markings in his Tenketsu sealing away his Chakra, Hidan was unable to recover from the damage done by Sakura.

Yagura blinked in disbelief and Naruto grabbed his stomach in pain thinking of the damage while saying "Maybe Sakura can beat them all up by herself."

Kakas.h.i.+ and Sasuke had their Sharigan's active as they targeted Kakuzu's hearts with great accuracy. Doing this scared the h.e.l.l out of Kakuzu, he jumped back but it was too late, the ma.s.s of Raiton Chakra from the two's combined Lightning Release Jutsu was used, as it combined it turned into a giant thunderbolt in the shape of a roaring dragon.

"Lightning Dragon G.o.d's Roar!" the two shouted as the attack destroyed Kakuzu's five hearts, along with the rest of his upper torso.

As his body fell to the ground Sasuke use his Amaterasu and Kakas.h.i.+ used a Wind Release Great Breakthrough to increase the flames power. The rest of Kakuzu's body disappeared only leaving a ring in its place. Sasuke was surprised that the ring could survive the flames as he went to pick it up he dismissed his fires.
