The Story Of Dusk 224 Xiao Jun Was Livid

Xiao Jun's hand froze midair as he didn't believe what he had just heard. Never in million times, Xiao Jun would have thought Qianru would say something like that.

Stubbornly Xiao Jun took a step forward to approach her, but Qianru took two steps back.

"Don't come near me." She said sternly as she glared at him there was hatred in her eyes.

Yes, Xiao Jun didn't see it wrongly. He saw hatred in those eyes. But, how could that be possible? Qianru that he had known for more than half of his life would never see him in such way.

She would get angry or upset at him, but never hatred.

All this time, no matter what he did and how he treated her, she would smile and was being very understanding.

"What do you mean don't touch you?! You are my wife!" Xiao Jun emphasized the word of wife to remind Qianru about her status, his voice raised up as he took another steps forward. "Were you really with him last night!?"

Xiao Jun didn't mean to snap at her, however to be reminded about the scene last night when Qi Xunyi carried her, he couldn't help but feeling the uncontrollable anger arose within him.

Qianru took another step back to avoid him as she crossed her arms in front of her chest, didn't want to be touched. "You even don't trust me." She said mockingly.

Qianru didn't say anything after she heard Xiao Jun's accusation, she stood still as the disappointment appeared in her eyes.

It was very clear to see for Xiao Jun how much his word had hurt her, it surprised him too, but the next second Qianru's eyes turned cold as she continued to talk callously.

"Just tell me when I will go back to Azura and leave this room. I don't want to see you." She enunciated her words without any traces of emotion.

Clenching his fist until his nerves protruded, Xiao Jun turned around and replied nonchalantly. "I will tell you when you will go back." He said as he stormed out of the room, however he stopped and glared at the flowers that filled the room. "Are these flowers from him?!"

He had wanted to ask about the flower since he came into this room, but because Qianru was sleeping, he waited until she woke up.

Qianru's silence answered as if she was saying 'yes' out loud in front of him and that didn't make his mood better, if anything, Xiao Jun was livid now.

"Don't you ever think to meet him again!" He warned Qianru before he slammed shut the door.

The wooden door was shaking because of the brute force from Xiao Jun for a few second before its still. Qianru thought it would crumble.

Qianru didn't feel any better after their first argumentation, but she didn't feel guilty either, the new feeling for her to feel that she still figured out.

Tiredly, Qianru sat on the chair as she rested her forehead on the table and closed her eyes.

From this point, everything would be different, whether she returned to Azura or not, seemingly the relations.h.i.+p between them would be over.

Not even a word of 'childhood friend' could save them now.
