"It's good that he is willing to trust me to take care of this rescue mission," Yang Yun said. "If I can complete the task properly, the general will have his trust in me a little bit more."

Mingyue let out a soft sigh. She knew what Yang Yun was trying to say.

Among her brothers, her elder brother was the one who doted on her the most. But when Yang Yun and her started dating, he was the one who was against them the most.

When she looked at him again, she saw him watching her with amus.e.m.e.nt with the corner of his lips curved up. She released his hands and took a few steps back from him. "Shameless."

He grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him. Soon, her face burrowed on his chest.

"Accompany me for a while before I depart?" he asked

She felt her body stiffened. She could feel his breath against her ears as he spoke. She created a small distance between them and tried to wriggle her hands away from him. Then she looked at him with a pout when she failed.

His smile gradually widened knowing that she had stopped trying to break free from him because she was too shy.

With her skills and strength, he believed that she can always escape him without difficulties. After all, it wasn't like his grip on her hands was too powerful. He definitely won't do anything to harm her.

"You don't need to get ready for tonight?"

"I have packed everything that I need," Yang Yun said. "I still have time before meeting with the guys."
