There Is Only One You! 73 Scared Of Being Abandoned.

"Why does he always take the chance to kiss me? It's so weird! What's wrong with me? I can feel my face heating up!" Ira mumbled to herself as she fanned her face. She stomped towards her room and fell flat on her bed.

"That was so weird! It was definitely weird! I am sure he also must have found me weird!!! What do I do now? How can I ever face him again?? Why the h.e.l.l did I freeze up when he kissed me? I am sure I had a weird look on my face. Did I make it obvious when I ran away? AHHH!!! What can I do now??"

Ira was so embarra.s.sed that she lost her mind from his kiss.

The warm and bright rays of the sun gently took a peek at Ira's room as they softly hit her eyes.

"I am done for... It's already morning... Thanks to that guy, I couldn't sleep a wink! Ahh, my eyes, my poor eyes, even though the sun is this gentle today, I can't seem to fully enjoy it. I want to sleep!" Ira's beautiful eyes wonderfully became a panda's with huge bags under them.

"I look like sh*t. This is bad."

"Prince, the breakfast is ready."

"You go. I will come in a minute. I wonder... if she slept well yesterday..."

"Chahna.. You were here?" Veer looked a little fl.u.s.tered when he suddenly ran into Chahna.

"Ah.. yes. Did you want something?" Chahna acted like her usual self. She looked completely normal as if what happened the other night between them was nothing but a hopeful dream.

Veer was a little bothered by her reaction. She looked perfectly fine while here he was looking all fl.u.s.tered just by looking at her. He felt so unfair.

Chahna decided to escape after looking at his gaze. His gaze at her was hot and pa.s.sionate. She was still not ready to accept him.

"If you have got nothing to say, then I shall take my leave. I have some work left to do..."

After hearing her speaking to him as if he were a third person, tore his heart. He immediately grabbed her arm, dragging her to his side.

"Did that kiss mean nothing to you? Am I nothing to you? Why are you acting like this again?" He placed his head on her shoulder as he continued to hold her tight in his embrace. He was like a kid that was scared of being abandoned by his mom. The look on his face was enough to melt her heart.

"I understand your feelings towards me and I too feel the same way... But, I am scared. I am scared of being abandoned again by my loved ones. I was fine seeing you from afar. But the more we get closer to each other, the more scared I feel! I am sorry." The poor girl started s.h.i.+vering as she broke down in tears.

Veer could exactly understand where she was coming from. She was abandoned by her own family in a brothel to save their a.s.s from starving. She was scared that Veer would also do the same once he had enough with her.

Veer couldn't contain his feelings towards her the moment she spoke of her innermost fears.

He pulled her waist closer to him as he stroke her lock of hair gently and placed a kiss at the tip of her hair. Chahna could feel her blood rush towards her face making her blush so hard.

His eyes were filled with pa.s.sion and longing for her.

"I will wait for you. Just remember one thing, no matter what, you will always be my only one in this lifetime!" The moment he finished speaking those words he turned around and took his leave, leaving Chahna in a daze...

Ira was sitting in front of the mirror as she stared at herself long and hard. She was so observed with herself that she didn't notice Chahna speaking to her.

"Ira, Ira are you listening?" Chahna with her hands on her hips, pouted at Ira for ignoring her.

"Sorry, sorry my bad... I was busy thinking about something... So, what were you talking about?"

"It's about my friend who fell in love with someone who is of an higher status than her... She was once abandoned by her parents and now she is scared to face his love for her... Even though she tells she loves him to the point she could go mad!"

"What? You mean the feelings are mutual?"

Chahna shyly gave a nod at Ira's question. Her expression told otherwise. It was as clear as the day that Chahna was not speaking about her friend but herself.

'My sixth sense is telling me something fishy is going on between these two...'

Ira didn't say anything and let her speak about her so called 'friend'.

"Misfortunes does happen... But if you are... no I mean if your 'friend' is afraid of it, then she can never break free from her past and live her life... Though I am not good at giving advices... I feel you should follow your feelings... no I mean your 'friend'. If he ever mistreats her, tell me immediately, I will beat the c.r.a.p out of him for you! No I mean your 'friend'...."

Chahna burst into laughter after listening to Ira rea.s.suring words.

"Chahna... Court lady is searching for you. Go to her room now." A servant maid who was a little older than Chahna delivered the message as she left them alone.

"Ira, I will come back and do your hair. Wait for me."

"Hmm...."

"Who am I to advice, when I myself am afraid to do so..."

Ira once again stared at the mirror with a sad look on her eyes...

"Say... If there really is another being inside me... could you please help me by answering my questions?"

The moment she finished uttering those words, her reflection on the mirror in front of her disappeared completely as another blurry image started to take a form....
