"Hmm.... Well... are you alright??" Veer looked concerned as he looked at Chahna.

Chahna nodded vigorously indicating a 'Yes'. She was always at loss for words whenever she was in front of Veer.

'Why doesn't this girl speak anything... Is she probably scared of me??'

Veer couldn't help but misunderstand the situation at hand.

He frowned a little and muttered in a low voice.

"Why do you always avoid me? Am I that scary?"

The moment after the words escaped from his mouth, he was a little shocked.

'Shoot! I didn't mean to speak it out loud!!'

Chahna was equally surprised as him. She never knew that was what he thought about her.

Veer was fl.u.s.tered, "Ple... please don't mind... what I just said... It was..."

Chahna interrupted him in the middle, "No. I'm not scared of you..."

She remembered what Ira once told her, 'If I don't start anything, then nothing will ever happen. You must gather your courage and tell him how you honestly feel about him!'

There was nothing that could not be found in that place. All the n.o.bles met up there to have some fun and to trade information.

Veer was dispatched on a duty to gather some information on their enemies.

A pair of women who were dressed lightly approached Veer.

"Sir, why don't you come in and have some fun. We have received a new young girl."

She went near him and spoke in a husky voice, "She is still a virgin. You can have a lot of fun with her."

It was normal for the peasants to sell their daughters into prost.i.tution when their family is pressed for money.

Veer followed those women into the building, he entered into a room.

He was under a secret mission to find out the plot of the minister of finance. It was said that they always go to that place to have some discussion.

A little girl around the age of 17, was forcefully pushed into his room. She looked quite scared and tried to run away whenever she got a chance.

"Sir, this lad is quite feisty. Please be a little understanding..."

The little girl frowned and looked like she would kill him if he dares to touch her. She was literally shooting daggers from her eyes.

Veer nodded and allowed them to leave the girl with him.

It was not new for him to go to such places nor it was his first time doing it with a women. As long as it benefitted his work he was willing to do anything.

The girl looked scared but at the same time she also looked strong. Her eyes never wavered, she was determined to run away from him. She doesn't want to stay at that place any longer.

Veer couldn't help but smile at the girl's determination. She was indeed quite a feisty one. He never met someone like her before. She somehow interested him.

"What are you smiling at?" Her voice was a little shaken as she was truly scared.

He went near her and patted her head gently as he whispered into her ears charmingly.

"Don't worry... I won't touch you, if you agree to help me out."

"What should I do?" The girl was a little worried but still she tried to trust him a little.

"Very good. You just have to be quite and ignore what I'm going to do. You must definitely forget what you will be seeing for your own safety. Can you promise me that."

The atmosphere was serious. If she agrees she can't back out. She must do whatever it takes to get out of here.

Her face was full of mixed emotions as she gave him a nod.

Veer secretly entered the room that was next to those Scholar-officials, he was surprised to find a bunch of rats that work under the minister of finance. They were discussing about overthrowing the current king.

That was treachery. They must be killed!

The little girl suddenly realised the presence of some people nearing the room where that man went into. She immediately ran to that room to try and warn him.

"The madam wants us to get the table from that room... But the scholar-officials forbids anyone from entering that room... What do we do??"

Another girl rushed towards them, "The madam got a table now... She asked the both of you to tend to the customers."

When the little girl ran up to him, the hem of her dress got caught on the table and she fell flat on the floor.

Those men next door, panicked after hearing the noise. They exclusively made sure that no one was to be allowed to use any rooms nearer to theirs. But the noise next door invoked a sense of fear in them.

They immediately opened the door to check.

The little girl was on top of the guy. She pushed him down as she unb.u.t.toned his clothes.

The guy kissed her pa.s.sionately as he slowly undressed her.

"What is this? Why are these people here in this room?"

"Wait... Probably they entered this room without knowing. Look at them getting so hot and pa.s.sionate."

One guy who wore a light blue color robe dragged opened the door, "What are you both doing here? Find some other room to carry on with your work!"

The room in which Veer and the girl were was dimly lit, which made it impossible for the men from the next door to recognise their faces.

The girl immediately took the defence before he could open his mouth to speak.

"Oh... Sir, please forgive me. This sir here, was being so naughty that I didn't notice which room we had entered. Please forgive me. We will leave immediately."

She dragged him out of the room and ran away.
