s.h.i.+v pulled Ira close to his chest and hugged her tightly with all his might. Ira noticed that s.h.i.+v was actually s.h.i.+vering.

He moved his hand to the back of her head and held her tenderly like holding something precious, "I shouldn't have let you accompany me after all! I am so sorry!" s.h.i.+v's usually cold and stern voice was at the verge of breaking down.

Ira could feel the s.h.i.+vering in his voice. He was genuinely scared and worried about her well being.

Ira was a bit startled when he suddenly pulled her to his embrace.

But after sometime Ira returned his hug. She hugged his big body, she patted his s.h.i.+vering back with her soft and tiny palm, "Don't worry I am fine! See... nothing has happened to me!" She softly whispered into his ears.

He still haven't let her go from his embrace. s.h.i.+v was still holding her tightly. Ira didn't feel the rush to pull him aside, she just let him hug her.

Ira never had any relations.h.i.+p, she was never interested in building one either. This is the first time that someone other than her father or grandfather has held her this tenderly.

Ira loved how he held her in his arms. She simply doesn't want to part!

Ira noticed something on s.h.i.+v's right shoulder, "What is this?? It looks like blood! s.h.i.+v! s.h.i.+v! What happened are you injured? Show it to me!" Ira demanded.

Ira pulled away from his hug. s.h.i.+v loosened his grip on her a little "I am sorry! I must have lost my mind there! Oh... This is nothing! Don't worry!"

He immediately stood up and picked up his sword, "Let's go... I said I will show you something. Get up!"

Ira tried to stand but she almost fell, "Ouch! I think I have hurt my ankle. First we have to tend to your wounds."

s.h.i.+v just randomly plucked some herbs and asked Ira to crush them. Ira crushed them like he asked her to.

s.h.i.+v tried to apply it on his wound but he was not able to apply it properly. Seeing his clumsiness Ira couldn't help but chuckle softly, "Here..... let me help you with it!" Ira lend him a hand in applying that to his wound.

"Thanks.... I owe you one!" After finis.h.i.+ng with his wound he helped her with hers. Since it is a sprain, there is nothing much he could do. s.h.i.+v simply tied her leg with a piece of cloth and helped her up.

"So..... are we good to go?" s.h.i.+v questioned Ira playfully.

"Yep! We are! Let's go! Ouch! But I don't think I can walk with this leg though!" Ira looked sad and dejected.

s.h.i.+v squatted down on his knees, "Here... Now get on me. I will carry you."

Ira felt dazed, "You want me to get on you? I am heavy you know! Besides you are already hurt."

"Then how do you plan on walking with that leg? I think this is the best thing now. Well that's for me to worry. Now hurry and get on, if you want to return before nightfall. I am not sure whether you have noticed this or not, but it has been quite sometime since we have left the main house."

"Okay fine! Don't blame me when you get tired!" Ira huffed and got on his big broad back.

"Oh my G.o.d! You are indeed heavy! Very Heavy!" s.h.i.+v chuckled at her naughtily. Ira pinched s.h.i.+v's right ear with her finger. "Ouch! How dare you hurt a patient! I will put you down!" s.h.i.+v laughed, while gesturing like putting her down.

"Wah! Wah! Hey... Don't you dare put me down! Or else next time I will bite you!" Ira clung tightly to his neck and laughed heartily.

They both were playing like little kids. Smiling and laughing heartily.

"Here... This is the well that acts as the source of water for our village. This well have been used here for many decades now. The only problem is, this well is too deep into the woods, that it becomes dangerous for people to come by and fetch water. That's why we are currently in the process of building a new well." s.h.i.+v explained.

"Oh.... this well looks so big and old!" s.h.i.+v didn't stop he was walking a little further from the well.

"Where are you going?"

"To show you something good!"

Ira heard a faint sound of waterfall. As he walked further and further from the well, the faint sound of the waterfall started to become clear and loud. Ira could clearly hear the loud noise of the waterfall up ahead, "Is there a waterfall here? Is that what you want to show me??"

"Umm... Let's go!"

The sent of wet soil was in the air, the cool and refres.h.i.+ng wind was blown from that direction. The forest was lush green and the trees were thick and dense. The sound of the water was heard profoundly.

When they reached a little closer, s.h.i.+v gently placed Ira down on the gra.s.s, "This is what I have been wanting to show you!"

There was a huge waterfall and they were standing at the peak of the waterfall. The clear stream of water crossed them and fell down from that height beautifully. Ira was amazed at that sight, "So beautiful! Its just too beautiful to express in words!!"

Ira's eyes were glowing at the sight. She looked like a kid. Her deep black eyes were glittering with amazement, "How did you find this place?"

"I happen to find it, once I was on the run. I thought this place looks beautiful, but with you here... its looks a little dull!"

"Dull? Are you blind or something?" The water reflects the sun rays and looks so bright for the eyes to stare at it.

"No... I am just saying that You are more beautiful!" s.h.i.+v looked straight into Ira's eyes as he said those words.

Ira blushed very hard after hearing such sweet things from a man as handsome as s.h.i.+v, "If you are talking about beauty..... I personally think that your eyes are more beautiful than anything in this world! So don't try to hide them anymore!"
