Seetha retained her cool and replied in an calm and respectful manner, "Good day to you, Mr. Officer. I just want to report this pendent as lost and found. Could....."

He cut her off and spoke in an annoyed tone, "Just leave the item with us and write you contact details over there. If we can't find the owner we will return it to you."

"Thanks a lot for your help, Mr. Officer."

She went to the table he pointed, took a pen a wrote her contact details. Placed that pendent on the table. While one officer took that pendant and placed it carefully in a box and took it away.

Her friend Sruthi reminded her in an worried tone, "Seetha its high time that we head to college. I don't want to be late on our first day itself."

Seetha nodded her head and started to her college.

Her college was not too far from her home. If they caught the bus on time, they would reach there on time. Seetha and Sruthi ran out of the station in an lightning speed.

Seetha and Sruthi somehow made it to the bus stop. Sruthi panted heavily and sweat could be seen on her brows.

Seetha looked perfect even after running like crazy. Her stamina was really good.

The bus was within their sight now. While patting the panting Sruthi, "Good job! We made it." and showed a thumbs up.

Seetha and Sruthi were friends from childhood, they both studied together. There is nothing about Seetha that Sruthi doesn't know, likewise they both choose the same college too.

But they had different pa.s.sions so Seetha choose Accounting and Commerce, while Sruthi choose Engineering. So obviously they had to be separated this time.

They both entered different buildings. Seetha got tensed the moment she entered her cla.s.sroom. Her cla.s.sroom was filled with beautiful girls and handsome guys wearing grand and rich clothes.

Compared to them her clothes were normal, but doesn't look dull. Instead she looked stylish in them. She wore a pair of black stockings, with a pair of shorts, matched with her favorite pink s.h.i.+rt, which had a beautiful bow on the side, which made her give off a cute and stylish feeling.

Immediately she caught the attention of everyone present. The guys with the stunned looks on their face approached her, not to mention she is quite a looker. While some girls thought that she looked stylish and cute, the others thought she looked poor and looked at her like looking at a piece of dirt.

Seetha didn't care as to how others looked at her. She just went inside the cla.s.sroom and found a place for herself to be seated.

The group surrounded her. The guys. .h.i.t on her, the girls tried to get the details regarding her dress.

She ignored the guys, which made her attractive in their eyes. But she spoke with the girls peacefully and even made a few friends out of them.

After a while their lecturer came in, then introductions began. Since it was their first day the lecturer didn't start her cla.s.s immediately but spent some time to get to know her students.

At the break, everyone could notice that there was already a few groups formed. Most of the students went to that college, belonged to the top rich society, so they couldn't stand to be in the same cla.s.s as Seetha.

Even though Seetha is not from a poor background, she is not from an wealthy one either. She belonged to our typical middle cla.s.s family. She got into this college purely because of her brain. She was not only beautiful and cute, but also intelligent.

But some people couldn't just ignore her, so they went and picked on her.
