Not Like In The Movies 18 Monkey's Betrayal

ZhenZhu couldn't help but frown when she realized she actually let Hong Zhao.. well if that was even his real name into her house. They met online on social media were he introduced himself as a business man. He was such a matured man with great wisdom which made her love him at their first sight.

Little did she know that his intentions were unclean. Remembering monkey's betrayal made her sit on the couch in the living room as she clenched her fist.

Monkey roamed his eyes around ZhenZhu's flat apartment. She changed the entire interior design from the one he knew.

'Whoa... ZhenZhu must have really been hurt after what i did. Why did I shamelessly come back into her life again?'

Monkey was about to sit on the single couch when she immediately stopped him, "What do you think you're doing? You're not here to relax but rather to speak!" She said coldly as she rolled her eyes.

Monkey let go of a deep sigh. "..."

"Girlfriend, he won't be comfortable while standing, *turns to monkey* don't mind her dear, you may sit." Fei Shuang spoke gently.

Monkey only nodded as a response while he sat. He looked at Fei Shuang in the eye.

"I've been calling you since morning to inform you that the 1st mission has already been completed, everything in the house has been sold but i can't take this—" He paused and handed a check to her with a smile expression flaunted on his face. "You mentioned about a blue diamond necklace your father gave to you and promised you'd give it to me if i castrated Cao Feng. I know it sounds inappropriate but this is one of your fathers belongings,you shouldn't give them up so easily."

Fei Shuang begin to tremble out of nervousness in the inside when he mentioned the blue diamond necklace ad she looked so calm on the outside. She finally decided to speak.

"No monkey. I don't need this money, you just keep it ok?" Fei Shuang wanted to return the check when ZhenZhu quickly s.n.a.t.c.hed it from her, "If you really don't need the money now girlfriend I'll keep it for you. Whatever was in that house was bought with your hard earned money, how could you even give it all to this pest? All he does it destroy other people's lives and dreams!"

Monkey didn't say a thing and only stared at her silently. He knew he could never make it up to her after breaking her heart so badly.

"Alright ZhenZhu if you insist and about the blue necklace i have no such possession. My father was a man behind the counter not a billionaire. He only left me his debts which I've already paid."

"Alright then. About the 2nd mission Cao Feng is now in my hands, i know you made those decisions because you were drunk and so i thought I'd be better if you were in your senses. Now what do you want me to do with him? Make him disappear? Break his bones? Or castrate him as you really suggested?"

"No don't hurt him!" Fei Shuang answered right away. She wasn't as cruel as she thought she'd be. Even tho he's just an 'Ex', she'll never harm him in anyway.

ZhenZhu hummed and asked her, "Are you sure? Castrating him would be fun."

"..."

"Yes I'm sure." She answered again, trying to look calm. "Just let him go."

A pregnant silent spreads inside the living room for a couple of seconds, not until Monkey broke it himself. " I see. Well,I believe my business with you has finally come to an end. I'm sorry about your accident and all you've been through. I'm also sorry ZhenZhu. I know what i did was unforgettable and refunding the money wouldn't change a thing. I didn't know I'd get so attached to you when the whole scam operation started. What can i do to make things up to you?"

ZhenZhu pursed her mouth in a self-satisfied smirk.

"Die and rot in h.e.l.l! That's the only thing you can do as a fraudster to make things right!"

His eyes widened as she angrily left for the bedroom. Is she serious? Well definitely, he shouldn't have expected less.

"She really didn't meant what she said, don't take it to heart ok?" Fei Shuang comforted him.

He couldn't help but purse his lips into a thin line and nodded as his response.

"Thank you so much for everything, for coming all the way here before making final decisions about my ex." She slowly bowed her head to Monkey.

He heaved a sigh. "No worries, I just hope ZhenZhu would forgive me someday."

"I hope so too Monkey. By the way, what exactly is your real name?" Fei Shuang couldn't help but ask in curiosity.

"It's Wei qi. Zhou Wei qi."

(A Chinese name meaning 'very lucky or auspicious')

"Hahh.. no wonder you're so lucky in everything you do." Fei Shuang slightly teases him.

"You silly woman. I better get going now. Here *hands her his card* this is my private number. Give me a call whenever you need help in anything."

Fei Shuang gulped as she read the card details. To her surprise, it was only his phone number. No name not even an info about his job. Monkey smirked in triumph.

"Ok,i will. Goodbye then." She smiled.

He laughed a little then stretched out his hand. "Goodbye."

She held his hand gently and they shook hands.

ZhenZhu came out of the bedroom and found Fei Shuang sitting on her wheelchair as earlier, adding a number to her cell phone. She sat on the opposite side of the couch facing her directly. She didn't say a word and stared at what she was doing.

Fei Shuang looked at her and slowly said, "This may sound weird but I think it's time for you to let things go. Forgive Monkey for the trouble he has caused. He called me 59 times this morning and I didn't even hear,little did i know that the phone was on silent and I slept on it."

ZhenZhu suddenly glared at her as if she wanted to throw knives at her.

'Forgive monkey? Over my death body!'

"Err.. i know! i know! He did you wrong a—"

"He did me harm too!"

"Yes,he did you harm. Don't you think it's time to move on?"

It took a few seconds for ZhenZhu to answer. "Okay. ZhenZhu responded. By the way,you haven't had your bath because we were interrupted by that pest!"

"Chill babe, chill. I'll have my bath now."

"Okay." That's the last thing ZhenZhu said before completely leaving for the comfort room with Fei Shuang.

After she washed Fei Shuang up, she helped her get dress and then went to the kitchen to cook. Fei Shuang looked at herself in the dressing mirror.

"You'll get through with all of this Fei Shuang,you can do this. All of this is just a test,you'll be on your feet before Christmas."

She muttered to herself.

A few minutes later, she steered her movement to the exit. As she directed her movement, she could her ZhenZhu speaking to someone.

Her eyes widened when she saw a woman inside the sitting room.

'Oh c.r.a.p, what is she doing here?'

ZhenZhu and the woman both noticed Fei Shuang and said, "you're here."
