The Webnovel Writer's Chatgroup 3 Are You Thirsty Too?

After he had breakfast, Elyon started to write a chapter for his novel. It took him three hours to finish writing and used "Grammarly" to check for basic grammar and spelling mistakes. Once everything was done, he uploaded his chapter to Webnovels and logged in to the Writer's Discord Chatroom.

He checked the comment section and the first thing he saw was Namake's comment.

Namake: Can we go a day in this server without mentioning s.m.u.t or politics?

Elyon shook his head and decided to just watch for the time being. He just joined yesterday and it would be best to understand a little bit more about his senior authors.

Xyerose (only ping me for BL): Everyone here is thirsty.

Namake: Why though?

noctifer (Blood Peony Emperor): @Namake take a shot every time someone mentions those two.

Xyerose (only ping me for BL): I don't know.

Elyon smiled as he saw the comments.

"At least they have a sense of humor." Elyon made himself a cup of coffee and resumed reading.

Namake: If y'all thirsty I have some website recommendations…Get your frustrations out yo~

Elyon spilled the coffee he just drank at Namake's comment.

"Ai~ note to self. Don't eat or drink when reading the comments in this chatroom." Elyon wiped the mess he made and was thankful that he didn't spill it on his keyboard.

Xandarx appeared in the room and he said he was sad. Looks like something happened to his family and he went here to keep his mind off things.

'Xandarx, this is a new name for me.' Elyon mused as he watched the conversation.

Some of the members tried to cheer him up and perhaps it lightened his load even for a little bit.

"MishaK? Why does this name sound familiar?" Elyon closed his eyes and pondered a bit. He believed that he has seen that name before.

"Aha!" Elyon wanted to confirm his suspicions and opened a new browser. He typed the Webnovel website and scanned the front page. Once his gaze fell on the daily updates, he saw what he was looking for.

Kei spent a few minutes to read the synopsis and the reviews of the novel.

"Hmm, so it's about a female protagonist and somehow the synopsis sound raunchy? I'll check it out later to better understand her writing style. Now to see the reviews." Elyon scrolled down to read the reviews.

Like with most people, there are small grammatical errors; as well as some extra words that are completely unneeded. These are not that big of a deal, and the writing style and grammar is great. I have to say though, improvement is improvement, as long as you can improve your grammar a little bit, you should do it. The same goes for getting rid of unneeded words. I can't judge your story line, as I am not huge on romance and that would be unfair to you; who I can tell is great at what they do, but I can tell from the comments on this story and your past experience that it should be great. ]

The chatroom became lively and they talked about a past incident that included something very inappropriate and rated PG.

Xyerose (only ping me for BL): So the lesson of the story is: be a decent human being, what the heck.

Namake: This, even I will admit, is a good reason to have mods. Even though I enjoy chaos.

Namake: TBH in my time as mod I just muted people who annoyed me.

'Thank G.o.d I was not here back then!'

Elyon: Sometimes there is a need to reinforce things

"The current mods of the server at this time is Xyerose (only ping me for BL) and Truedawn. I haven't met Truedawn yet, but Xyerose seems to be a decent person…if you ignore the part that you can only ping her for BL." Elyon a.s.sumed the Xyrose is a girl since she likes BL.

Elyon flexed his fingers. "It's time to get back at this Pedo-bear for laughing at me on my first day."

Elyon enjoyed reading the discussion of his senior authors without noticing how much time pa.s.sed by. He forgot that today was an important day for his guild because they would be partic.i.p.ating in a guild war.

He got a good nagging afterward by his Vice-Leader for showing up after the war was over. This story however, will be told at a later time.
