Elyon logged in to the Webnovels website to check his favorite stories. He has been doing this for the past few years and always enjoyed reading all the good stories the platform has to offer.

"Oh! The author has released a new chapter!" Elyon excitedly grabbed some snacks as he read the work of one of his favorite authors. He diligently voted and gave his powerstone to help the author rise in the ranks.

"How nice would it be if I can be an author like him..." Elyon shook his head.

He knew that being an author is not an easy thing to do. He checked the clock and logged in to a mobile game to talk to his guild members.

*ELYON has logged in*

Aki: Oh! You're finally online! Let's go boss hunting.

Elyon: Sure. Do we have a priest available?

Qtninz: Priest Present!

Elyon: DPS?

Feliz: Ready and Waiting!

Elyon: High Wizard for the Nuke?

PRINCE: I'm itching to blow things up.

Elyon: I guess this will do. Let's go.

The party hunted bosses for two hours and talked about random things while they're at it. He then said goodbye and left a few updates on the guild notice so that his members will be informed about their next plans for the Guild Wars.

He checked Webnovels one last time to see if there are any other updates from his favorite authors. One quick look from his library gave him all the information he was looking for. There was none, so he decided to sleep.

He dreamed about a fantasy world, filled with sword, magic, cultivation and LOLIS. It was a good dream.

A cute and adorable girl with blond hair and blue eyes approached him from the side.

"You said you wanted to be a writer right?" The loli asked him with a smile.

"Yeah, but my English sucks." Elyon replied casually.

"It doesn't matter you know. Just do what you feel like doing!" The loli encouraged him to follow his dream.

"I'll just be a laughingstock if I become a writer with my meager skills." Elyon sighed and looked at the sky.

"Hmmp! Do you think that all best-selling authors became popular overnight? Do you think they have flawless sentence structure and grammar when they started?" The loli narrowed her eyes at him.

Elyon wasn't able to meet her gaze and simply looked at the side.

"You've read many stories. Most of them are 2k-4k chapters long. You always thought that you could do better than them, but you never did anything. You just read...read...read and read." The loli curled her adorable lips and mocked him.

Elyon closed his eyes. He had indeed read a lot of novels. Some of them are good, some of them are bad. Some have rushed endings, some have c.r.a.ppy endings...and some just dropped their stories for reasons only known to them.

The loli gently caressed his cheek.

Elyon opened his eyes and looked at her.

"Remember, that one story you always wanted to write?" The loli gazed at him.

"That...stupid story?" Elyon frowned.

"What's wrong with writing a stupid story? Use that as spring board to reach greater heights! Learn from it, accept criticisms and improve your writing skills." The loli smiled at him.

Elyon felt warmth from her words. He had always liked to write, but his years of reading Machine Translated Novels had ruined his English skills. He loved the stories so much that he has to resort to read the "Machine Translated Chapters" just to finish the stories that he loved.

"Listen to me Elyon. Do you remember your favorite phrase?" The loli winked at him.

"Of course. How can I forget it?" Elyon smiled at her.

"And become the Glow, for others to follow." Elyon finished his favorite quote with a grin.

"I'll be looking forward...to the adventures of the Legendary Baka Warriors." The loli giggled and the dream ended.

Elyon woke up feeling refreshed. He then went straight to his P.C ignoring breakfast and logged in to his account.

He clicked the create b.u.t.ton and spent a few minutes maneuvering to the inkstone works.p.a.ce. He then wrote his very first chapter and uploaded it to Webnovels.

He made himself a sandwich and was about to write his second chapter, when he noticed a link that will direct him to the discord chatroom for webnovel authors.

He contemplated for a minute and took a deep breath. He clicked the link, logged in to discord and typed his pen name "Elyon."

A feeling of excitement bubbled in his heart as he waited for the discord chatroom to load.

"I wonder what the authors of webnovels are like? I hope they are good people." Elyon looked forward to meeting them. Little did he know that meeting the authors of the famous works in Webnovels will change his life forever.
