Oddity Of Fate 11 Tenth Par

One night before the compet.i.tion, the Gamma Fraternity is having a pool party for David Parker's debate team. While they are having a celebration, Fredo is outside the fraternity house spying on them.

He was speaking with Terrence on his cellphone.

Terrence said, "Just go inside. Invent a good story. Convince him. Get some tips. "

Fredo replied, "Can we just play fair?"

Terrence said, "Fredo, I already teach you how to win dirty in any games. Is your heart soften for your old pal? Remember that this debate compet.i.tion will bring honour to your father who is in jail."

Fredo got annoyed, "Alright! I will do this."

Fredo hangs- up the cellphone. He goes straight to the front door and rings the doorbell.

Luckily, it is Daniel who opened the door.

Daniel asked, "Hey, man. What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to have a party with Terrence's team?"

Fredo sobbed, "I have no place to stay. My fraternity kicked me out of their house. They learned about my father who is in jail."

Daniel consoled his friend, "What's the main reason? Oh no! Are you telling lies again to impress other people? But, you are the son of Evita Ellewoods. How can they kick you out?"

Fredo said, "It was a long story. I hope you could let me in. Maybe I could stay here just for one night until I could find a place to stay."

Daniel sheepishly smiled, "Okay. Just for one night. But, I would ask David first if he approves."

As Fredo entered the Gamma Fraternity House, he also joined the celebration.

At midnight, when everybody is sleeping except Fredo. Fredo said to himself, "I could not do this. He is a real pal. But for our victory, I would do this."

He searched for the research papers that are hidden inside Daniel's drawer. And then, he quickly gets out from the fraternity house. There's a car waiting for him outside. It was Terrence's. And, he hurriedly goes inside that car. And, both of them run off.

In the morning, it is always Daniel who gets up early. He looked at his own drawer. His files is no longer there.

He said to himself, "Fredo, I knew you would betray me. This time, you're gonna pay at your own risk!"

Daniel called Lilet on his cellphone.

She told him, "I had sent to your email your back-up files. You can check it now."

Daniel said, "Thanks, Lilet. You are a real pal."

She smiled, "You're welcome. My sisters are already awake. Lovely Jane might hear our secret conversation."

Then, she hangs - up the cellphone.
