h.e.l.lo~~~ How's everybody doing? I hope all of you are staying at home safely. The situation is not very good at the moment, I just wish all of you good health.

On the upside, maybe this time we can have some rest, make new plans, do things we never get to do at home ( cleaning? XD ) and hopefully make the most of our time. I personally wish I have more rest and more chapters to translate, but haha.. fat hope!

On another note, a reader said she thinks it's a zombie apocalypse and whoever survives will gain superpowers O.o I'm not ruling anything out for now……

      

Who Moved My Mountain Chapter 31 Part 4: Many Tries

“Madam Jiang Shu Hua, your gossiping appearance doesn't look very ladylike." Lu Hua Nian winked and mocked her.  But she quickly spoke: "I saw He Nian teach Yun Rong mathematical problems. That warm appearance, I've only seen it when he holds Yuan Yuan."

Jiang Shu Hua hesitated a bit, "This still doesn't explain anything. I've already acknowledged Yun Rong as my G.o.ddaughter, so He Nian can be considered Yun Rong's brother. He should take care of her more."

"Yes, he should take good care of her. But you didn't see his expression, I won't believe that there aren't any thoughts in his head." Lu Hua Nian saw Jiang Shu Hua still doubting her and continued: "Ma, you still don't believe me? I am an accurate judge when it comes to looking at people."

Seeing that her daughter spoke so certainly, Jiang Shu Hua started to believe her. There were many clues that made it clear that her son liked Yun Rong.

She still understood her own son. Since when was he so close to a female, moreover, since when did he attentively take care of everything for a female. He even went so far as to let her acknowledge Yun Rong as a G.o.ddaughter. This could also be a.s.sumed as Lu He Nian's skillful arrangement. 

With a household such as the Lu family, they couldn't anyhow recognize anybody as an adopted daughter. This gave Yun Rong's body a label stating that she was a member of Lu family, meaning she was sheltered by the Lu family. In Hais.h.i.+, those who wanted to touch her had to think twice. 

When had Lu He Nian ever been so careful and meticulous towards a woman?

The more Jiang Shu Hua thought about it, the more she felt what Lu Hua Nian said was right. In her heart, she started to believe and it shortly showed in her eyes. Behind it, there seemed to be a hidden meaning. She thought of how her youngest son would reach 30 soon and finally liked somebody and couldn't sit still. She was itching to immediately call her son and ask him clearly.  

It still was Lu Hua Nian who tried to reason with her, "Ma, it's useless for you to ask about this kind of thing. With He Nian's temperament, he will definitely not admit it. You know he is the calmest and most cool-headed, able to control himself. Otherwise, it would be impossible that he has never tried to look for someone after so many years."

Jiang Shu Hua calmed down after listening to Lu Hua Nian. However, she wouldn't be able to sleep until she solved this matter in her heart. Only after Gu Qing came to pick up Lu Hua Nian and Yuan Yuan was she able to settle her heart and go to sleep.    

The next day at 7 in the morning, Lu He Nian got up. No matter how late he slept the night before, he would still continue to keep his habit of several years. That was, to have his morning run. He walked towards his wardrobe to take a set of tight-fitting sportswear and caught sight of last night's coat that he had thrown carelessly at the side. He was compelled to walk towards it and picked the coat. 

When he picked it up, a faint floral fragrance seemed to a.s.sault his nose. His fingertips couldn't help twirling, his mind played last night's scene when he carried the young lady. So small, so soft, as if her waist would snap if he exerted a bit of effort.  

Her body always carried a floral fragrance. As long as there was contact with her, her smell would linger on the body and wouldn't scatter for a while.

Thinking up to here,  Lu He Nian's pupils darkened. He put the coat down and the corner of his lips was raised into a mocking smile: "Huff, rogue!" 

Lu He Nian quickly tidied up and went downstairs. When he arrived at the living room, he saw Jiang Shu Hua already in the dining room eating breakfast. He was slightly startled: "Ma, how did you wake up so early today? Did you not sleep well?"

Normally Jiang Shu Hua had a strict schedule for work and rest. She would go to bed before 12 midnight and get up at 8 o'clock.

"I slept well, very well. Ever since you gave me that money from Yun Rong to put under the pillow, I didn't even dream anymore. I have been sleeping extremely smoothly. Even your father's snoring has lightened a lot."  

Of course, Jiang Shu Hua wouldn't say that she had especially waited here for him. However, when mentioning the topic of sleeping, she had to talk about the efficacy of the charm  Yun Rong drew on the banknote. She had already considered this young lady as talented. Now that she knew that her own son had intention towards the young lady, Jiang Shu Hua saw Yun Rong in a different light. This child not only had the ability, but also filial. Really very good from whichever angle.  

"I woke up early this morning because I slept earlier last night." Jiang Shu Hua explained. 

Lu He Nian felt her mother looked a bit weird but didn't think much about it and nodded: "Then I'm going for my run."

"Wait a minute, I still have some things to ask you." Seeing that Lu He Nian was about to go, Jiang Shu Hua promptly pulled him. She had specially waited for him, how could she let him go?

Lu He Nian stopped and looked at Jiang Shu Hua inquiringly.

Jiang Shu Hua restrained her expression, seemingly just talking without much thought: "He Nian, soon Uncle Wen will return from Europe. s.h.i.+ Lei will also follow. Your father and I have already made an appointment to meet with them, do you want to go too? Mentioning it, you and s.h.i.+ Lei haven't met each other for over ten years. s.h.i.+ Lei has now grown into a lady, yesterday I videocalled with her, she's very bright and beautiful. Her style is also……."

"Ma, you know my life divination, it's better for me not to go." Lu He Nian frowned and interrupted Jiang Shu Hua before she finished talking, revealing his slight impatience. He had no impression of Wen s.h.i.+ Lei at all, besides, this wouldn't be just a simple meal. Two youngsters of marriageable age meeting together, it's nothing more than a blind date.  

Lu He Nian had absolutely no interest in this kind of dinner.

While observing her son's expressions, Jiang Shu Hua spoke: "Doesn't matter, I already had s.h.i.+ Lei's birth date calculated by Master Zhang. Master Zhang said that she matches very well with you and won't be affected. "  

Seeing that there wasn't much reaction from Lu He Nian, Jiang Shu Hua decided to use a stronger dose of medicine. She spoke again: "Just nice, Yun Rong can also go. Uncle Chu is also here, this year Yun Fei is 20 years old, his age is very appropriate with Yun Rong. Maybe they can get along with each other!"

This mother, really! ??
