As Kusaka was panting he was watching Hitsugaya in his fighting stance and Hitsugaya was watching Kusaka .

Kusaka: "I really didn't want to use this as it would have damaged my soul since it hasn't pa.s.sed that much time since i returned . "

Their Bankai caused ice to flow from Hyōrinmaru onto them, starting from the right arm, which ice forms onto in the shape of a dragon's head around the sword hand, encasing the sword up to the hilt, which also changes from the shape of a four-pointed star to that of an eight-pointed star .

The ice continued forming up over their shoulders, with two large wings sprouting from their back and a long tail . The ice forms down their left arms and encases their hand, which ends in a claw .

Their feet are encased in ice in a similar manner to their left hand, as they also end in claws . Above them three flowers of ice were formed as they floated behind them, each consisting of four purple petals shaped like diamonds .

Kusaka's petals were black which surprised Hitsugaya and he could see that they placed enormous strain on Kusaka's body .

Furthermore, he couldn't sense any increase in his reiatsu just before he could say something Kusaka appeared in front of him .
